श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण तृतीय स्कंध अध्याय 25 आरंभ
कपिल जी द्वारा तत्वों का वर्णन कपिल जी बोले हैं माते जिसकी सत्ता से समस्त सृष्टि का संचालन हो रहा है उसकी माया से संपूर्ण जगत प्रकाश मांग है उसी को ज्ञानी पुरुष आत्मा कहते हैं जिसका कभी नाश नहीं होता उसी के द्वारा सभी जीवो का पालन होता है जिसे आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान प्राप्त हो जाता है उसे कभी सांसारिक माया भक्त नहीं होती वह प्राणी हर प्रकार के वह बंधन को त्याग कर स्वयं को अत्यंत अर्थात अपनी आत्मा को परमात्मा के साथ लिंक कर लेता है यह माथे कपिल जी ने अपनी माता दी कूदी को संबोधित करके कहा आत्मा और परमात्मा के बीच बहुत थोड़ा सा अंतर है परमात्मा में आत्मा का अंश मिला रहता है उतना ही अंतर उन दोनों के बीच में होता है जितना अंतर आंख और नाक के बीच में है परमात्मा अर्थात परम आत्मा फिर भी वाणी वह बंधन के कारण परमात्मा के स्वरूप को नहीं जान पाता परमात्मा का अंश जब तक शरीर में विद्यमान रहता है तब तक प्राणी चलता है बोलता है खाता पीता है किंतु आत्मा के निकलने से सुंदर शरीर निर्जीव होकर पृथ्वी पर पड़ जाता है एवं सड़ने गिरने लगता है मृत्यु होने पर स्वयं भी पूछना स्वर शरीर को शीघ्र आंखों के सामने से हटा देने के प्रयत्न में जुड़ जाते हैं अर्थात ना स्वर शरीर से प्रतीत ना करके प्राणियों को उस अविनाशी के रूप से प्रतीत करनी चाहिए जो कभी कष्ट नहीं होता जो अनादि काल से चला आ रहा है जिसे ज्ञानी पुरुष परमात्मा कहते हैं इस शरीर में एक साथ 24 तत्व निवास करते हैं पृथ्वी आकाश जलवायु एवं अग्नि को पंचमहाभूत कहा जाता है रूप स्वाद स्पर्श गंध तथा शब्दों जो कानून द्वारा सुनाई देता है उसे पंचतंत्र कहते हैं नाक कान त्वचा नेत्र जी हां हाथ-पैर गोदा एवं लिंग को ज्ञानी लोग ने इंद्रियों का नाम दिया है मन बुद्धि चित्त एवं अहंकार को प्राणी के अत्यंत कारण की वृद्धि कहते हैं निश्चय आत्मा संकल्प चिंता एवं अभिमान भी तत्व रूप है इस प्रकार मानव शरीर 24 तत्वों की पूर्ति होने से निर्मित होता है और 25वां तो अतः स्वयं परमात्मा और जीव प्राणी ने उस परम स्वरूप परमात्मा को पहचान लिया तथा उसे अपना सर्वस्व मानकर अपने मन रूपी मंदिर को उनके चरण कमलों में अर्पित कर दिया उसे जब तक करने की आवश्यकता नहीं किंतु बिना पहचाने हर प्रकार का शुभ कार्य करना निरर्थक अतीत होता है मन में प्रभु के प्रति अटूट प्रेम एवं श्रद्धा होनी चाहिए श्रद्धा से भक्ति प्राप्त होती है और भक्ति से प्रभु की प्राप्ति अतः एक एक चिड़ियों को पार करते हुए उन तक पहुंचने का प्रयत्न करने वाले प्राणी सफल होता है जो छलांग मारकर पहुंचने का प्रयत्न करता है वह धारा सही होता है संसारी माया में जीने वाले प्राणियों के लिए तीन प्रकार की भक्ति के रूप है प्रथम राशि भक्ति द्वितीय धाम शिव भक्ति और तृतीय सांसारिक भक्ति सात्विक भक्ति को ऋषि-मुनियों ने सर्वोत्तम भक्ति माना है जोकि अत्यंत निर्मल भक्ति है राशि भक्ति सांसारिक सुखों की प्राप्ति हेतु की जाती है जिसे प्राणी धन-संपत्ति स्त्री एवं पुत्रों की कामना करता है एवं तीसरी भक्ति जोत राम की भक्ति हो इसलिए कहा जाता है कि इसमें तामस अर्थात राक्षसी खून का वास होता है इस वक्त में प्राणी अपने शत्रु का वध करने की इच्छा मन में रखकर भक्ति करता है कपिल जी बोले इसलिए हे माता प्रभु को अर्थात मुझ को सबसे अधिक सात्विक भक्ति प्रिय है मेरे चरणों का स्मरण करना ही भक्ति है किंतु सच्चे मन से जो मनुष्य राशि एवं तामसी करते हैं उनकी इच्छाओं को पूर्ण पूर्ण करता हूं मेरे नाम का जप करने अत्यंत कल्याणकारी है किंतु सात्विक विधि से भक्ति करने वाले प्राणी को अति प्रसन्न रहता हूं और उसे साक्षात दर्शन देता हूं तथा सदा आत्मा के रूप में उसकी तन में स्वयं में निवास करता हूं

The earth, sky, climate and fire are called Panchamahabhutas, form, taste, touch, smell and words that are heard by law, it is called Panchatantra. Mind, intellect, mind and ego are said to be the growth of the supreme cause of the creature. Surely the soul, determination, worry and pride are also elemental forms, thus the human body is formed by the fulfillment of 24 elements and therefore the Supreme Soul himself and the living being have created that supreme form. Recognizing the Supreme Soul and considering him as his everything, he offered the temple of his mind at his lotus feet until he needed to do it, but without knowing it, doing all kinds of auspicious work is a futile past. Unbreakable love and reverence for the Lord should be with faith Power is achieved and God is attained through devotion, so the creature who tries to reach them by crossing each bird becomes successful, the one who tries to reach by leaping, that stream is right for the creatures living in worldly illusion. There are three types of devotion, the first zodiac is devotion, the second place is Shiva devotion and the third worldly devotion, the sattvik devotion is considered the best devotion by the sages, which is very pure devotion. And wishes for sons and the third bhakti holding is devotion to Rama, that's why it is said that it is inhabited by tamas means demonic blood, at this time the creature does devotion keeping in mind the desire to kill his enemy Kapil ji said that's why To Lord Mother, that is, I love the most sattvik devotion, remembering my feet is devotion, but with a true heart, I fulfill the desires of those who do zodiac and tamas, chanting my name is very beneficial but in a sattvik method. worshipers I am very pleased with the creature and give it a glimpse and always reside in my body in the form of a soul.
