श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण तृतीय स्कंध अध्याय 29 आरंभ

नरक में यमदूत ओ द्वारा मिलने वाली यात्रा का वर्णन माता देवहूति को ज्ञान दर्शन कराते हुए कपिल देव जी बोले हैं मां दुष्कर्म एवं पाप चार करने वाले मनुष्य की बड़ी दुर्गति होती है नर्क में उसे यमदूत अनेक प्रकार की यातनाएं देते हैं भिन्न-भिन्न कर्मों के अनुसार भिन्न-भिन्न यात्राएं उस प्राणी को झेलना होता है जो मनुष्य स्वयं मालपुआ और मिष्ठान खाता है तब अपने परिवार जनों को नहीं देता साधु संत के आने पर उसका सत्कार नहीं करता द्वार आए भूखे प्यासे से बिच्छू को देख कर भाग देता ऐसे मनुष्यों को नर्क में भूखा लगने पर यमदूत उसी के तन का मांस काटकर उसको खाने के लिए देते हैं जो दूसरों को धन पर बोलो आता जबरन अपना विचार अधिकार स्थापित करता है उस मनुष्य को यमदूत ऊंचे पहाड़ पर ले जाकर धकेल देते हैं तथा उसके शरीर से गिद्ध कौवे मांस नोच नोच कर खाते हैं तन में कीड़े पढ़कर उसका रक्त चूसते हैं जो ऋषि-मुनियों पर आंखें लाल करते हैं उनकी आंखों को यमदूत भले ही 9 से 4 डालते हैं न्यायाधीश के पद पर बैठकर अन्याय करने वाले मनुष्य को जो दो पत्थरों के बीच दबाकर उचल के समान पीसा जाता है जो पराई स्त्रियों के सामने विचार करता है उसे आग में तपा कर गर्म हुई स्त्री की मूर्ति के स्थान यमदूत लगता देते हैं जीव हिंसा करने वाले मनुष्य को भावी एवं लार से लव लव भरे नर्क में यमदूत धकेल आते हैं अन्याय पंचायत में मिथ्या वचन झूठी गवाही करने वाले मनुष्य के शरीर को सांप और बिच्छू से भरे कुंड में बार-बार डालकर निकाले जाते हैं जिससे उसे भयानक तकलीफ होती है दूसरों के घर में आग लगाकर तमाशा देखने वाले केतन को तलवार से धीरे-धीरे यमदूत काटते हैं अतः हे माता जो मनुष्य जैसे कर्म करता है उसी उसी कर्म के अनुसार दंड भोगना होता है तो अच्छे फल की प्राप्ति के लिए मनुष्य को सत्कर्म करना चाहिए

Describing the journey to be received by the eunuch in hell, Kapil Dev ji, while giving knowledge to Mother Devhuti, has said that a person who commits misdeeds and sins suffers a great misfortune in hell, the eunuchs give him many kinds of tortures for different deeds. According to different journeys, that creature has to bear the person who himself eats Malpua and sweets, then does not give to his family members, the monk does not welcome the saint on his arrival When I am hungry, the eunuchs cut the flesh of his body and give it to eat, whoever speaks on money to others, forcibly establishes his right to think, the eunuchs take that person to a high mountain and push him and the vulture crows meat from his body. They eat the worms in the body and suck the blood of those who make their eyes red on the sages, even if the eunuchs put 9 to 4 on their eyes, sitting on the post of judge, the person who does injustice by pressing between two stones, is ground like one who contemplates in front of foreign women In place of the idol of a woman who has been heated in the fire, the eunuchs give the soul to the person who commits violence and the eunuchs are pushed into the hell filled with love with saliva And they are thrown out again and again by putting them in a pool full of scorpions, due to which they are in terrible trouble. According to this, if punishment has to be suffered, then in order to get good results, one should do good deeds.
