श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण पंचम स्कंध अध्याय 18 आरंभ
विभिन्न प्रकार से हरि पूजा श्री सुखदेव जी बोले हे राजन् जम्मू दीप के नाम खंडों में प्रभु श्री हरि नारायण के अलग-अलग स्वरूप ग्रहण कर अवतार लिया भादरा अश्व खंड में वृंदावन नामक का राजा था वही श्री हरिनारायण में हास्य गरीब के रूप में अवतार लिया उनकी पूजा ओम नमो भगवते धर्मात्मा विश्वकर्मा ए नमः मंत्र से होती है जिसका तपस्या है कि जीत को शुद्ध रखने वाले उनका रूप भगवान धर्म को हम नमन करते हैं नर हरी खंड में नृत्य से भगवान की पूजा होती है वहां श्री नारायण के नित्य अवतार धारण कर भक्त पहलाद की रक्षा की थी इसलिए नृत्य के रूप में ओम नमो भगवते नरसी हाय नमो नामक मंत्र सहित पूजा होती है भक्त पहलाद इस मंत्र को सदैव जपते रहते हैं और संसारी जीवन के उद्धार हेतु पहलाद जी ने नरसिंह भगवान के वर्ग मांगा हे प्रभु आप जियो को चाहे जिस योनि में जन्म दे किंतु आपकी कृपा से आपके चरणों का स्मरण बना रहे यह सुनकर नृत्य सिंह भगवान बोले हे भक्तराज ऐसा वरना मांगो क्योंकि सभी प्राणियों को बैकुंठ प्राप्ति की इच्छा नहीं होती कलयुग में हर किसी को सत्संग से लगाव नहीं होता वह सांसारिक माया मोह में फंसे रहना चाहते हैं तब पहलाद जी बोले हे दीनदयाल जगत में ऐसा ही कोई व्यक्ति नहीं होगा जिसे बैकुंठ की इच्छा ना हो पहलाद के वचन और सुनकर श्री नरसिंह भगवान भोले भक्त पहलाद में मेरा वजन झूठा लग रहा है इसलिए तुम जाकर अतीत दुखी मनुष्य की खोज करो और उससे बाइक चलने के लिए कहो प्रभु के वचन सुनकर पहलाद जी एक सुखारी के पास पहुंचे और कहने लगे कि यहां क्यों दुखती है चलकर बैक उनका सुख उपयोग कर लिया यह सुनकर सुकरी बोली मैं अकेली नहीं चल सकती तुम्हें नृत्य सिंह भगवान से पूछ कर आओ कि यदि मेरे पूरे परिवार को ले चले तो मैं चलने को तैयार हूं पहलाद जी श्री नृत्य सिंह भगवान से जाकर पूछो प्रभु ने उसके पूरे परिवार को ले जाना स्वीकार किया और यह बात आकर पहलाद ने सुकरी को बतलाए तब वह बोली तुम्हारे स्वर्ग में मुझे पेट भरने के लिए विष्ठा मिली यह सुनकर वह बोले कि वह नरक नहीं है तब सुकरी अपने परिवार से विचार-विमर्श करके बोली हमें यदि यही पर सुख है उसके बाद भक्त पहलाद एक वृद्ध मनुष्य के पास जाकर कहने लगी है वृद्ध पुरुष आप यहां दुख क्यों उठाते हो चल का स्वर्ग का सुख भोग करो यह सुनते ही वृद्ध पुरुष कुपित होकर बोला अभी मुझे अपने बेटों का विवाह करके नाती पोते देखने हैं और तू स्वर्ग चलने को कह रहा है नहीं जाना मुझे स्वर्ग तुझे जाना है तो तू जा भक्त पहलाद निराश होकर लौट आए और आकर भगवान से कहने लगे हे कृपा निधान स्वर्ग जाने की कामना कोई मनुष्य करता ही नहीं है यह सुनकर नरसिंह भगवान मुस्कुरा कर बोले ऐसा ही होता है राजा परीक्षित के तुम अलखंड में लक्ष्मी जी सर्वत्र प्रजापति के पुत्र तथा कन्याओं के साथ कामदेव की आराधना करती है रश्मि खंड में मनु जी को श्री हरि नारायण के मत्स्य अवतार धारण कर दर्शन दिया और हिरण खंड में कछुआ भगवान की पूजा होती है तब तथा पूर्व वर्ष खंड में 12 प्रभु की पूजा होती है

Grandsons want to see grandchildren and you are asking to go to heaven, don't go, I want to go to heaven, then you go, the devotee Prahlada returned disappointed and came and said to God, oh grace, no human wants to go to heaven. God smiled and said, it happens like this in King Parikshit's Alkhand, Lakshmi ji worships Kamadeva everywhere along with Prajapati's son and daughters, in Rashmi Khand appeared Manu ji wearing a fish incarnation of Shri Hari Narayan and a tortoise in the deer section. God is worshiped then and in the previous year block, 12 lords are worshipped.
