श्री सुखदेव जी द्वारा सूर्य की गति एवं आकाश का वर्णन श्री सुखदेव जी बोले हे राजन् जीतना विस्तार सात दीपों का है उठना है विस्तार अंतरिक्ष लोग भी है नक्षत्र एवं तारों के मध्य विराजमान भगवान सूर्य दव तीनों लोगों को प्रभावित करते हैं सूर्यदेव सायमा उत्तरायण तथा क्षमा दक्षिणायन में होते हैं उत्तरायण में उसका रथ पूजा मार्ग से होकर गुजरता है जिससे जगत में अधिक प्रकाश होता है किंतु जब वे दक्षिणायन में होते हैं उस समय नीचे मार्ग से गुजरने के कारण प्रकाश कम होती है और तीसरा विश्व युद्ध रेखा मार्ग होता है जो उतरायण एवं दक्षिणायन के मध्य के समय में आता है तीनों मार्ग से चलने के कारण कर्क मकर एवं दिन रात्रि बनते हैं जब सूर्य देव मेष और तुला राशि पर होते हैं उस समय रात्रि एवं दिन एक समान होते हैं किंतु वृष मिथुन कर्क सिंह तथा कन्या राशि में प्रवेश करते हैं तब रात्रि क्रम से 1 माह में एक घड़ी बढ़ती है और दिन घटने लगता है वृश्चिक मकर कुंभ मीन तथा मेष राशि सूर्य देव के प्रवेश करने पर दिन पढने लगता है और रात्रि काल का समय घटने लगता है एक एक रात और 1 दिन में सूर्य का रथ सुमेरु पर्वत के चारों और चारों दिशाओं में नाव का रोड लाख योजन तक घूमता है सूर्य की परिक्रमा मानसरोवर पर्वत पर इकाई युवान लाख योजन है सुमेरु पर्वत के पूर्व में इंद्रपुरी दक्षिण में जामुन पूरी पश्चिम में वरुण पूरी तथा उत्तर में कुबेर पूरी स्थित है कुबेर पूरी को चंद्र पूरी भी कहते हैं सूर्यदेव आपने उदय होने वाले स्थान के सम्मुख के अस्त होते हैं उनके रात का एक पहिया चलता है और दूसरा पहिया दूरी थ्रू ब्लॉक से दबी है सूर्य देव के रथ की चाल 15 घड़ी में सवा सौ करोड़ 12:30 लाख योजन से अधिक है 26 लाख योजन के विस्तार में उसका रत है वरुण नाम के सहार थी सूर्य देव के हाथ को हारते हुए और गंधर्व यक्ष नाग आदि सात घोड़ों रथ को खींचते हैं और राशि की शर्तों से रातों की पूरी बांधी होती तथा रात के आगे सूर्य देव की तरफ मुंह करके स्तुति करते हुए भारत खिलाए आदि ऋषि जन चलते हैं
