कंस द्वारा अक्रूर को श्रीकृष्ण को लाने के लिए भेजना

एक रात काम उसने एक गुप्त मंत्र ग्रहण की दारू मैं इस वक्त सत्य भोजन विद्युत विद्युत वितरण कृतवर्मा भूमि शराब तथा अक्रूर आदि वीर उस मंत्र गण में आमंत्रित किए गए थे कंस ने उनसे कहा हे महावीर ओं आप जैसी मंत्रों और मिश्रण धनुषधारी के रहते हुए भी शत्रु निरंतर यश को प्राप्त हो रहा है जी सरलता से उसने रावला आदि राक्षसों का वध किया उसे जान पड़ता है कि वह कोई साधारण ग्वाला नहीं है अवश्य ही क्षण विशेष में विष्णु अथवा इंद्र है अतः हे महावीर ओं इस विपत्ति के निराकरण का कोई उपाय सोचो तब विचार-विमर्श के बाद यह तय किया गया कि मथुरा नगरी में धनुष यज्ञ का उस यज्ञ में नंद को भी वालों के साथ बुलाया जाए और इस बहाने से कृष्णा और बलराम को मथुरा नगरी बुला लिया जाए मथुरा नगरी में उन दोनों की हत्या सरलता से की जा सकेगी क्योंकि भूमि पर हाथी शक्तिशाली सिद्ध होता है और मगर उसका सामना नहीं कर सकता किंतु पानी में मगर हाथी को पछाड़ देता है अतः अपने क्षेत्र में हर किसी का आत्मविश्वास प्रताप उत्साह तथा शक्ति बढ़ती हुई होती है यह सब तय करने के बाद कंस ने अक्रूर को इस कार्य के लिए चुना क्योंकि अक्रूर के वासुदेव तथा नांद से भी मधुर संबंध थे अतः अनंत को यह कृष्णा आदि को इस आमंत्रित के विषय में किसी प्रकार का ध्यान देना होगा तब आ क्रूर राजा की आज्ञा मानकर वहां से चल दिया यद्यपि बहुत से सभा शब्दों ने मन ही मन कंस की इस योजना की निंदा भी की किंतु कंस के डर से किसी ने भी योजना का विरोध नहीं किया फिर अक्रूर जी स्वयं श्री कृष्ण के दर्शन के लिए व्याकुल थे संघर्ष ही इस यात्रा के लिए सहमत हो गए इस प्रकार कृष्ण के रूप में कंस ने अपने काल को बुलावा भेजा
