ध्रुव की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर प्रभु विष्णु जी का प्रकट होना और उसे ध्रुव पद देना
श्री पराशर जी बोलेंगे मैत्री का उद्देश्य राजकुमार रूप इन सब को हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम करके उस वन से चल दिए वहां से लगकर थ्रू यमुना के तट पर बसे हुए अति पवित्र मधुर नामक वन में आया प्राचीन काल में उपवन में मधु नामक दैत्य रहता था इसलिए उनका नाम मधुवन पड़ा वहां मधु के पुत्र महाबली लवण नामक दैत्य को मारकर शत्रुघ्न ने मथुरा नाम की पूरी बस i30 मधुवन में देवजी देव प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी की समिति रहती है इसी मधुवन में ध्वनि तपस्या की मारी जी आदि मुनियों ने इस प्रकार को उपदेश दिया था बालक को नेट ठीक उसी प्रकार अपने हृदय में बसे हुए विराजमान प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी का सच्चे मन से मन करता बस या आरंभ कर दी बालक डूबा के इस तरह सच्चे मन से कहा कि तपस्या करते देख प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी प्रसन्न होकर उनके ह्रदय में प्रभु प्रगट हुए हेमनाथ जी योगी ध्रुव के ह्रदय में प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के स्थित हो जाने के कारण स्वरूपों को धारण करने वाले पृथ्वी के भार को सहन ना कर सके उसके पाएं चरण पर खड़े होने से पृथ्वी का बाया भाग रुक जाता है फिर दाएं चरण पर खड़े होने से पृथ्वी का दाया भाग जाता है फिर जब वह पैर के अंगूठे से पृथ्वी को बीच में से दबाकर खड़ा हुआ तो पर्वत सहित समस्त भूमंडल विचलित हो गया उस समय नदी तथा समुद्र सागर बुध खो गए तथा उनके दुख से देवताओं में बड़ी हलचल मची है मैथिली तब हम नामक देवताओं ने बहुत दुखी हो इंद्र के साथ मंत्र ग्रहण कर दू की तपस्या काम करने का आयोजन किया इंद्र के साथ अति अतुल कुमार नाम के उप देवताओं ने उनके रूप धारण कर शुरू की समाधि कम करना आरंभ कर दिया उसी समय माया से रची हुई उसकी माता कुंती क्षेत्रों में आंसू भरकर उसके सामने प्रकट होकर बोली हे पुत्र पुत्र यह कह कर वह वरुण वचन बोलने लगी पुत्र शरीर का नाश करने वाला इस भयंकर तपस्या को छोड़ दे चित्र म बहुत काम ना हो द्वारा तुझे पाया है अरे पुत्र 2 साल के कटु वचनों को सुनकर अपने माता को अकेले किसके सहारे छोड़ कर आया है यह कुदरत मुझे तो सिर्फ एक तेरा ही सहारा है पुत्र कहां तू 5 वर्ष का नादान बालक और कहां तेरा या अति कठिन था और एक भयंकर डरावना वन इस निर्मल अपना मन मोर ले के पुत्र तू अभी नादान बालक है यह 13 खेलने कूदने का समय है फिर अध्ययन का समय आएगा ही समस्त लोगों को भोग करने के पश्चात अंत में तपस्या करना पुत्र तेरे जो खेलने कूदने के दिन हैं और तू खेलने कूदने की स्थान पर तब करना चाहता है तो क्यों अपना सर्वनाश करना चाहता है पुत्र तेरा धर्मा तो आपने माता को प्रसन्न रखने का है हे मेरे प्रिय पुत्र तू मुझे प्राणों से भी अधिक प्रिय है इसलिए तू अपनी आयु के अनुसार कर्मों को कर पुत्र यदि तुमने आज ही यह तप करने का हक ना छोड़ा तो देख तेरी माता तेरे सामने ही अपने प्राण त्याग देगी
