दुर्वासा जी के श्राप से इंद्र की पराजय भगवान का प्रगट होकर देवताओं को समुद्र मंथन का उद्देश्य था देवता और देवताओं द्वारा समुद्र मंथन

श्री पराशर जी बोलिए मैथिली अभी तुमने मुझसे जिसके विषय में पूछा है वह असली लक्ष्मी जी का इतिहास मैंने भी मार्कशीट ऋषि से सुनाया था वह सब मैं तुम्हें सुनाता हूं सावधान होकर बहुत ध्यान पूर्वक सुनो एक बार प्रभु श्री शिव शंकर जी के अंश अवतार श्री दुर्वासा जी पृथ्वी पर विचरण कर रहे थे घूमते घूमते दुर्वासा जी ने एक विद्याधारी के हाथों में समय तक पुष्पों की एक दिव्य सुंदर माला देखी है ब्राह्मण श्री दुर्वासा जी ने उस दिव्य सुंदर माला को देख कर उसे उस विद्याधर सुंदरी से मांगा श्री दुर्वासा जी के मांगने पर उसे बड़े बड़े सुंदर नारी वाले क्रीसान विद्याधारी ने उन्हें हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम किया और वह हमारा उन्हें दे दी श्री दुर्वासा जी ने माला लेकर अपने मस्तक पर लगाकर पृथ्वी पर विचरण करने लगे तभी उन्हों ने एरावत हाथी पर बैठे देवताओं के साथ आते हुए सच्ची पति इंद्र को देखा उन्हें देखकर मनीवर्क्स श्री दुर्वासा जी न्यू आदित्य माला अपने सिर से उतारकर देवराज इंद्र के ऊपर फेंक दिया देवराज इंद्र ने वह हमारे एरावत हाथी के मस्तक पर डाल दी माल लग रही थी मानो कैलाश पर्वत के शिखर पर श्री गंगा जी विराजमान हो उस दिव्य माला की गंध से आकर्षित होकर एरावत हाथी ने उसे शोर से सुनकर पृथ्वी पर फेंक दिया है मैथिली यह सब देख मुनि श्रेष्ठ भगवान श्री दुर्वासा जी अति क्रोधित हो गए और देवराज इंद्र से इस प्रकार बोले हे दुर्वासा जी ने कहा अरे ऐश्वर्या के मद से दूषित अचिंत इंद्र तू बहुत अहंकारी है तूने मेरी दी हुई दीपमाला को ना तो आपने मस्तक पर धारण किया ना ही मुझे धन्यवाद दिया मूर्ख तुमने मेरी दी गई माला का कुछ भी मूल्यांकन नहीं किया जा इंद्र मैं तुम्हें श्राप देता हूं कि तेरा त्रिलोकी पर वह नष्ट हो जाए इंद्र तू मुझे अन्य ब्राह्मण की तरह ही समझता है इसलिए अहंकारी इंद्र तूने हमारा अपमान किया है तूने मेरी दी हुई दीपमाला को पृथ्वी पर फेंका है इसलिए तेरा या त्रिभुवन अति शीघ्र ही श्री हिंद हो जाएगा हरेंद्र जिसके को धोने पर यह समस्त चराचर संसार भयभीत हो जाता है और उसी का तूने इस तरह अपमान किया है श्री पराशर जी बोले मुनीश्वर दुर्वासा के मुख से यह सब सुनते ही एरावत के उतरकर देवराज इंद्र दुर्वासा जी की अनुनय विनय करके उन्हें मनाने लगे इंद्र के इस तरह प्रणाम आदि करने पर दुर्वासा जी बोले हरे मुख इंद्र महिपाल उचित नहीं हूं मेरे मन में क्षमा का स्थान नहीं है तुम जानते हो वह मुनि जन और ही होते हैं मैं तो दुर्वासा हूं गौतम आदि मुनियों में तुझे व्यर्थ ही इतना मुंह लगा रखा है लेकिन याद रखना दुर्वासा हूं जो क्षमा करना नहीं जानता दया मूर्ति विशिष्ट आदि की स्तुति करने से तेरे अंदर इतना अहंकार हो गया है कि तूने आज मेरा अपमान किया रे मूर्ख आज इस लोक में ऐसा कौन है जो मेरा प्रज्वलित जटा कल और टेढ़ी मुटकी को देखकर भयभीत ना हो जाता हो तू बार-बार अनुनय विनय करने का व्यर्थ धूम क्यों कर रहा है तेरे इस तरह कहने सुनने से कुछ भी नहीं हो सकता मैं तुम्हें क्षमा नहीं कर सकता सिर्फ श्री पराशर जी बोले हैं ब्राह्मण इस तरह मुनि दुर्वासा जी इंद्र को श्राप देकर वहां से चले दिए और देवराज इंद्र पी रावत पर चढ़कर अमरावती को चली गई यह मैथिली उसी समाज से इंद्र सहित तीन लोग बृज लता जी के चरण हो जाने से नष्ट और श्री शुभम आज ही हो गए तब भी यह यज्ञों का होना बंद हो गया तो खुशियों ने तब करना छोड़ दिया लोगों का दान आदि धर्म में मन नहीं रहा समस्त लोक लोक भारती आदि के वश में पढ़कर सामर्थ हीन हो गए और तुझसे तू छात्रों के लिए लालायित रहने लगे जहां सत्य हुआ करता है वही लक्ष्मी वास करती है और सत्य भी लक्ष्मी जी का ही साथी है श्री ने सातवां कहा रहा थ तथा सातवा के बिना गुण कैसे ठहर सकते हैं गुणों के बिना पुरुष के बल शक्ति सॉरी आदि सभी का अभाव हो जाता है तब निर्मल और अशक्त मनुष्य सभी से अपमानित होता है अपमानित होने से तो प्रतिष्ठित पुरुष की वृद्धि भी बिगड़ जाती है इस तरह त्रिलोकी के श्री हिंद और सत्य रहित हो जाने पर देवताओं एवं दानव ने देवताओं पर चढ़ाई कर दी वैभव r70 होने पर भी देती हों ने श्री हिना एवं इस वक्त देवताओं के युद्ध किया अंत में देवता पराजित हो गए और देखते विजई हुए तब हिंदी समस्त देवता अग्नि को आगे कर की धामा श्री ब्रह्मा जी की शरण में पहुंचे और उन्हें सारा वृत्तांत सुनाया देवताओं ने समस्त धाम सुनकर पिता श्री ब्रह्मा जी देवताओं से बोले हे देवगढ़ तुम देवताओं के दमनकारी परमेश्वर प्रभु श्री हरिनारायण जी की शरण में जाओ जो जगत की उत्पत्ति पालन और संहार करने वाले हैं किंतु कारण होकर भी इसके कारण नहीं है और जो चराचर के स्वामी प्रजापति यों के स्वामी सर्व व्यापक औरंगजेब है तथा जो अंजाम है लेकिन कार्य रूप में परीक्षण हुए प्रधान और पुरुष के कारण है यह शरारत वसैली है उनकी शरण में जाने पर वे अवश्य ही तुम्हारा उद्धार करेंगे श्री पराशर जी बोले समस्त देवताओं को यह सब बता कर जगत पिता श्री ब्रह्मा जी उनके साथ शिरसागर के उत्तरी तट पहुंचे और वहां पर पहुंचकर जगत पिता श्री ब्रह्मा जी ने समस्त देवताओं के साथ प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी की स्तुति की श्री ब्रह्मा जी बोले पृथ्वी को आधार स्वरूप प्रकाश से अभिनय सर्व रूप सर्वस्व की अत्यंत अजय और अविनाशी श्री नारायण को मैं प्रणाम करता हूं मेरे सहित समस्त संसार जिसमें स्थित है जिस से उत्पन्न हुआ है और जो देव सर्व भूत माय तथा जो परम प्रधान हदीसे भी पर है मुक्ति लाभ के लिए मोक्ष का भी जिसका मुनि जन ध्यान धरते हैं वह प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी हम पर प्रसन्न हो लक्ष्मीपति और समस्त देव धारियों के आत्मा प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी हम पर प्रसन्न हो जो कारण और कार्य रूप है तथा कारण के भी कारण और कार्य के भी कार्य हैं वे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी हम पर प्रसन्न हो हे सरस्वती स्वरूप भूत आत्मा के स्वरूप केसर आधार या छूट है विष्णु हम भक्तों पर अपनी कृपा कीजिए और हम भक्तों पर प्रसन्न होकर हमें दर्शन दीजिए श्री पराशर जी बोले श्री ब्रह्मा जी की स्तुति सुनकर समस्त देवता श्री प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी को प्रणाम कर बोले हे प्रभु हम पर दया कीजिए हम पर प्रसन्न होकर हमें दर्शन दीजिए हे जगदंबा सर भगत अजीत जिसको यह प्रभु श्री ब्रह्मा जी भी नहीं जानते आपके उस परम पद को हम प्रणाम करते हैं इसके पश्चात श्री ब्रह्मा जी और देवताओं की स्तुति कर लेने पर बृहस्पति आदि समस्त देवगढ़ बोले जो परम स्वभाविक आधार यही यज्ञपुरुष है और पूर्वज के भी पूर्व पूर्व शिव शृष्टि के रचेता निरीक्षण प्रभु को हम प्रणाम करते हैं ना हम समस्त शरणागत पर कृपा कीजिए हम पर प्रसन्न होइए और हमें दर्शन दीजिए हे नाथ हमारे सहित यह ब्रह्माजी सूत्रों के शहीद प्रभु शिव शंकर 12 हाथों सहित भगवान दूध अग्नि के शहीद बाबा का और यह दोनों अश्वनी कुमार वसु सारे मर्द गण साद गण विश्व दिन तथा देवराज इंद्र सहित समस्त देवगढ़ दैत्य सेना से पराजित होकर अपनी शरण में आए हैं श्री पराशर जी बोले हैं मैथिली सूती पूर्ण होने पर सॉन्ग चक्रधारी प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी जिन के सम्मुख प्रकट हुए प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के प्रकट होने पर पिता मां श्री ब्रह्मा जी सहित समस्त देवगन ने उन्हें प्रणाम किया और उनकी स्तुति करने लगे देवगण बोले हे प्रभु आपको बारंबार प्रणाम है प्रभु आप ही ने विशेष हैं आप ही ब्रह्मा है आप ही शिव शंकर हैं आप ही इंद्र अग्नि पावन वरुण सूर्य और यमराज है हे प्रभु वसु गण मौजूद गण नया गण विश्वयुद्ध गण भी आप हैं आपके सम्मुख जो देवता गण समुदाय है वह भी आप ही है प्रभु आप तो सर्व स्वस्थ रहें आप ही ओंकार तथा प्रजापति हैं बिटिया वेद और समस्त संसार आपके ही तो स्वरूप है हे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी हम देते उसे पराजित होकर आप की शरण में आए हैं हे प्रभु हम पर प्रसन्न हो यह और अपनी तेज से हमें शक्तिशाली सास वक्त कीजिए हे देव जब तक जियो समस्त पापों को नष्ट करने वाले आपने शरण में नहीं आता तभी तक उसे दीनता इच्छा मुंह और दुख रहता है हे प्रभु हम आपकी शरण में आए हैं हम पर दया कीजिए हम पर प्रसन्न होगा हम देवताओं के खोए हुए देश को अपनी शक्ति प्रदान कीजिए श्री पराशर जी बोले देवताओं द्वारा इस तरह विनय पूर्वक स्तुति करने पर प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी प्रसन्न होकर देवताओं से बोले थे देवगढ़ मैं तुम्हें तेज को फिर से बढ़ा लूंगा इस समय मैं जो कुछ कहूं ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो वह करो तुम दे तुमसे मिलकर संपूर्ण औषधि लगाकर अमृत निकालने के लिए श्री शिवसगर में डाल दो और मंदराचल को मदनी बना तथा वास्तविक नाक को नेवी बनाकर उसे देते और दानों के साथ मेरी सहायता से मंथन कर अमृत निकालो तुम लोग शाम नित्य का सहारा लेकर देशों से कहो कि वह इस कार्य में यदि तुम्हारी मदद करें तो वे लोग भी इसके फल में बारंबार सम्मान भाग पाएंगे समुद्र के मंथन से उसमें से जो अमृत निकलेगा उनको पीने से तुम शक्तिमान और अमर हो जाओगे देवताओं मैं तुम्हें आगे लिए ऐसा उपाय करूंगा जिससे तुम्हारे जैसी देती हूं वह अमृत की एक बूंद भी ना मिल सकेगी और उसके हिस्से में सिर्फ हमारा ही आएंगे श्री पराशर जी बोले फिर देवों के देव प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के कहने पर समस्त देवगण देशों से संधि करके अमृत पाने के लिए यात्रा करने लगे यह तो फिर देवता और दैत्य ने विभिन्न प्रकार की औषधियां लगाकर उन्होंने शरद ऋतु के आकाश भी निर्मल बाबा वाले छीर सागर के जल में डाला और उन्होंने विंध्याचल को मथनी तथा वैश्विक नाक को नीति बनाकर तेज गति से संसार को मंथन शुरू कर दिया वास्तविक नाक की पूरी तरह देवता गण लग गए और वैश्विक नेताओं नेताओं को त्याग दिया और महा तेजस्वी युवा सेना के मुख से निकलते स्वास की आदमी से झुलस कर सभी देगा स्वस्थ हो गए और उसके विश्वास के विषय के प्रभाव से देते अचेत होने लगे और उसी वास हुआ यू से विषाक्त हुए महत्वपूर्ण देवताओं की तरफ की ओर बढ़ते रहने के कारण समस्त देवताओं की शक्ति और बढ़ती चली गई हे मेरे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी कछुए का रूप धारण कर शिरसागर में घूमते हुए मंदराचल पर्वत के आधार हुए अर्थात मंदराचल पर्वत उसकी पीठ पर रखा हुआ था लगावे श्री चक्र गदा धारी प्रभु अपनी एक दूसरे रूप से देवताओं में एक रूप में देते हों से मिलकर नागराज को खींचने लगे यह मैत्री एक अन्य विशाल रूप से जो ना देवताओं को दिखाई देता था और ना ही देते को दिखाई देता था और उससे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु के ऊपर से पर्वत को दबा रखा था प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी आपने तेज से नागराज वास्तविक की बल शक्ति का संचार करते थे और अपने अन्य देश सवा देवताओं के बल शक्ति में वृद्धि कर रहे थे इस तरह देवताओं और दानवों द्वारा शिरसागर के माथे जाने पर सर्वप्रथम समुद्र में से हवन यज्ञ सामग्री आश्रय रूप देवताओं द्वारा पूजनीय कामधेनु उत्पन्न हुए उसे देखकर देवता गण वादा ना आती आनंदित हो गए और दोनों एक डाकू उसको निहारते रहे इसके पश्चात धार्मिक देव प्रकट हुए और फिर से समुद्र मंथन करने से फिर सागर से अपनी सुगंध से तीन लोग को सुगंधित करने वाला तथा देवताओं की सुंदरियों का आनंद पूर्वक कल्पवृक्ष उत्पन्न हुआ या कल्पवृक्षा ऐसा अद्भुत वृक्ष था कि इसके नीचे जाकर जो भी मनोकामना होती है वह मनोकामना अवश्य पूर्ण हो जाती थी फिर मंथन चलता रहा और जब आप की बार शिरसागर से रूप और उदारता आदि गुणों से युक्त अति अद्भुत अप्सराएं प्रगट हुए फिर फिर सागर से चंद्रमा परगट हुए जिससे महादेव जी ने ग्रहण कर लिया इसके पश्चात शिव सागर से 20 निकला हुआ 20 नामों ने पी ली फिर श्वेत वस्त्र धारी साक्षात प्रभु धन्वंतरि जी अपने हाथों में अमृत से भरा कमंडल लेकर प्रकट हुए उन्हें देखकर समस्त देवता और दैत्य और दानव गढ़ अति प्रसन्न हुए इसके पश्चात एक खिले हुए कमल पर विराजमान श्री लक्ष्मी देवी हाथों में कमल पुष्प धारण किए शिरसागर शिरसागर हुए उस समय महर्षि अति प्रसन्नता पूर्वक श्री सूक्त द्वारा उसकी स्थिति करने लगे तथा बिस्वाबसु वादी गंधर्व गुणगान उनके समूह गायन करने लगे वृद्धि आदि अप्सराएं नृत्य करने लगे आपने पावन जल से लक्ष्मी जी को स्नान कराने के लिए गंगा आदि नदी स्वयं उपस्थित हुए अतिक्रमण से भरे हुए निर्मल पावन जल से स्वर्ग लोक माहेश्वरी श्री लक्ष्मी देवी को स्नान कराया शिरसागर ने मूर्तिमान होकर उन्हें खिले हुए कमल पुष्पों की माला दी तथा विश्वकर्मा ने उनके अंग अंग में विविध आभूषण पहना है इस तरह दिव्य माला पहनकर और वस्त्र धारण कर दीप जल से स्नान कर दिव्या भूषण से विभूषित होकर श्री लक्ष्मी जी समस्त देवताओं के देखते-देखते प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के वक्षस्थल में विराजमान हुए हैं मैथिली प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के वक्षस्थल में विराजमान श्री लक्ष्मी जी के दर्शन कर देवताओं को अति प्रसन्नता हुई यह सब देख कर देते अगर व्याकुल हो गए और ना महान बलवान दैत्यों ने अवसर देखकर श्री धन्वंतरि जी के हाथ से अमृत से भरा हुआ कलश छीन लिया या सब देखकर देवता घबरा गए और सब प्रभु श्री विष्णु जी की ओर देखने लगे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी ने इस्त्री मोहनी रूप धारण कर अपनी माया से देवताओं को मोहित कर सेवा अमृत भरा कमंडल लेकर देवताओं को दे दीया अमृत बाहर का लाभ मिलते ही इन राधे समस्त समस्त देवगढ़ बोस अमृत को पी गए यह देख कर देते गणपति तीखे खड़क आदि शस्त्र लेकर देवताओं पर प्रहार करने लगेंगे लेकिन अमृत पान के कारण देवता हमार व शक्तिशाली हो गए थे और देवताओं की शक्ति के आगे देशों की संपूर्ण सेना विवश हुआ असहाय होकर 1 से भाग खड़ी हुई फिर देवगढ़ प्रसन्नता पूर्वक शंख चक्र गदा धारी श्री हरि विष्णु जी को प्रणाम करके पहले के सामान फिर से स्वर्ग में शासन करने लगे यह मुनि श्रेष्ठ उस समय से प्रकार तेजवान सूर्य भगवान अपने मार्ग से तथा अन्य तारागढ़ भी आपने अपने मार्ग से चलने लगे सुंदर तृप्त वाले आदमी देवताओं प्रज्वलित हो गए तथा उसकी उसी समय से समस्त प्राणियों की धर्म में पूर्ण आस्था हो गई है मुन्नी श्रेष्ठ दिलों की समस्त संपन्न बन गए और देवताओं में श्रेष्ठ इंद्र भी पुनः राज बना रहे इंद्र से स्वर्ग लोक में जाकर फिर से देवराज पर अधिकार पाया और आश्वासन पर विराजमान होकर मैं कमल ग्रहण करने वाले श्री लक्ष्मी जी की स्तुति करने लगे देवराज इंद्र बोले समस्त लोगों की जनक प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के वक्षस्थल में विराजमान श्री लक्ष्मी जी को मेरा बारंबार नमस्कार है कमल जिसका निवास स्थान है फल जिसके कर कमलों से सुशोभित है कमल दल उनके सामान नेत्र वाले उस कमल मुखी श्री लक्ष्मी जी की वंदना करता हूं एक देवी आप ही पी लो को पवित्र करने वाले हो तथा तुम ही संध्या रात्रि प्रभा विभूति श्रद्धा और सरस्वती हो तुम ही मुक्ति फल दाहिनी है देवी आपने ही आपने शांत और उग्र रूप में यह संपूर्ण जगत व्याप्त किया हुआ है यह देवी आपके बिना ऐसी कोई स्त्री है जो प्रभु गदाधर के योगी जन चिंतित सर्वर यज्ञ में शरीर का आसरा पा सके हे देवी आप से और प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु से यह सकल चराचर जगत व्याप्त है हे देवी आप संपूर्ण लोकों की माता हो और प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी की जगत पिता है हे देवी जिस पर आपकी कृपा दृष्टि है वह धन्य है वह सुरवीर और पराक्रमी है हे देवी आप जिस में विमुख हो जाएं उससे तो पीतल आदि समस्त गुणों तुरंत अवगुण हो जाते हैं यह देवी आपकी कृपा दृष्टि के पात्र पुरुष के लिए सारिका आरोग्य ऐश्वर्य शत्रु पक्ष का नाश और सूखा आदि कुछ भी दुर्लभ नहीं है हे देवी आप के गुणों का वर्णन करने में तो स्वयं ब्रह्मा जी की सारनाथ में समस्त नहीं है फिर मैं क्या कर सकता हूं हे देवी लक्ष्मी अब मुझ पर प्रसन्न हो और मुझे कभी ना छोड़े श्री पराशर जी बोले हैं मैथिली इस तरह स्तुति के जाने पर श्री लक्ष्मी जी इंद्र से इस प्रकार बोले श्री लक्ष्मी जी बोले के देवर देवर इंद्र मैं तुम्हारे इस स्तुति से अति प्रसन्न है तुम जो चाहो वह वर मांग लो मैं तुम्हें वर देने की इच्छा से यहां आई हूं इंद्र बोली यदि मैं और आप पाने योग्य हूं और आपने एवर देना चाहते हैं तो आप मुझे यह वर दीजिए कि आप तीनो को कभी ना छोड़ना दूसरा वर्क मुझे यह दीजिए कि जो भी आपकी इस स्रोत से स्तुति करके उसे आप कभी ना जागेंगे श्री लक्ष्मी जी बोले हे इंद्र मैं तेरे को कभी नहीं छोडूंगी तुम्हारे स्तुति से प्रसन्न होकर मैं तुम्हें यह वर देती हूं कि जो भी कोई व्यक्ति प्रातः और सायं के समय सच्चे मन से इस स्तुति से मेरी जूती करेगा उसको मैं कभी नहीं छोडूंगी श्री पराशर जी बोले एम मैथिली इस तरफ पूर्वकाल में श्री लक्ष्मी जी देवराज इंद्र की स्थिति पर आराधना से प्रसन्न होकर उन्होंने 2 वर्षीय पहले श्री लक्ष्मी जी री जी के द्वारा खाली पनामा की स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुई थी फिर अमृत मंथन के समय देवा दाना से प्रयत्न सेवा समुद्र से प्रगट हुई इस तरह जगतपति प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी जब-जब अवतार धारण करते हैं तो लक्ष्मी जी सदैव उनके साथ रहती है जब प्रभु श्री हरि आदित्य रूप तो वह पदमा कमल से उत्पन्न होकर पदमा कहलाए जब प्रभु परशुराम बने तो हे पृथ्वी बनी प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के राम अवतार लेने पर हुए सीता जी बनकर प्रगट हुए प्रभु जी के कृष्ण के रूप में अवतार लेने पर श्री रुक्मणी जी के रूप में है प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के दिव्य रूप होने पर श्री लक्ष्मी जी दीपेश शरीर धारण करती है मनुष्य होने पर वे मानवीय रूप में प्रगट होती है प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के शरीर में अनुरूप में श्री लक्ष्मी अपना शरीर बना लेती है जो भी व्यक्ति श्री लक्ष्मी जी के जन्म की इस कथा को सच्चे मन से ध्यान लगाकर पड़ेगा यह सुनेगा उस व्यक्ति के घर में वर्तमान आगामी और भूत तीनो लोग के रहते हुए कभी लक्ष्मी का नाचना होगा यह
