इस तरह दोस्त कल्याण को वशीभूत हो जाने की पश्चात राजा मुकुंद ने वहां पर श्री कृष्ण को खड़े देखकर पूछा आप कौन हैं राजा मुकुंद की बात सुनकर प्रभु श्री कृष्ण जी बोले मैं यदुकुल में वासुदेव जी के यहां पुत्र रूप में उत्पन्न हुआ हूं यह सुनते ही राजा मुकुंद को वृद्धि गर्ग मुनि के कहे हुए वचन याद आए और उन्होंने तुरंत प्रभु श्री हरि को हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम किया और कहा है परमेश्वर मैं आपको जान गया हूं आप साक्षात प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु के अंश है पूर्व काल में मनी गर्ग जी ने कहा था कि 28 में युग में द्वापर के अंत में यदि कल में प्रभु श्री हरि जन्म लेंगे आप प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी के ही अंश हैं और आप मनुष्यों के उपकार के लिए ही अविनित हुए हैं दादा भी मैं आपकी महान तेज को सहन करने में जरा भी समर्थ नहीं हूं हे प्रभु आपके शब्द सजल में की घर गर्जना के समान अति गंभीर है तथा आपके चरणों से पीड़ित होकर पृथ्वी झुकी हुई है प्रभु देवा सुर संग्राम में दैत्य सेवा के बड़े-बड़े पराक्रमी योद्धा भी मेरा देश सहन नहीं कर सकते और मैं आपको तेज सहन नहीं कर सकता जगत में प्रतिदिन के आप ही एक मात्र आश्रय हैं शरण गेटों का दुख दूर करने वाले आप प्रसन्न होंगे मेरे अमंगलों को नष्ट कीजिए आप ही समुद्र सागर हैं आप ही पर्वत पहाड़ हैं आप ही नदी हैं और आप ही वन है तथा आप ही पृथ्वी आकाश वायु जल अग्नि और मन है आपकी बुद्धि अभिव्यक्त प्राणों और प्राणों का अधिष्ठाता पुरुष है तथा पुरुष से परे भी जो व्यापक है और जन्म तथा विकार से शून्य तत्व है वह भी आप ही हैं आप ही से देवता प्रीतगढ़ यक्षागा गंधर्व किन्नर सीट और अप्सरा गण उत्पन्न हुए हैं आप ही से समस्त ब्रिज और जो कुछ भी भूत भविष्य चराचर जगत है वह सब आपसे ही उत्पन्न हुआ है हे प्रभु मूर्ति अमूर्त स्थल सुषमा तथा जो कुछ भी है वह सब आप जगत करता ही है आपसे विभिन्न और कुछ भी नहीं है हे प्रभु टपरी से अभी भूत होकर सर्वदा इस संसार चक्र में भ्रमण करते हुए मुझे कभी शांति प्राप्त नहीं हुई जल की आशा से अमरीतगढ़ के समान मैं दुखों को ही सुख जानकर ग्रहण किया परंतु हुए मेरे साथ आपके ही कारण हुए हैं हे प्रभु राज्य पृथ्वी सी कोष मित्र पक्ष पुत्रगण स्त्री तथा सेवक आदि और शब्द आदि विजय इन सबको मैं अविनाशी तथा सुख वृद्धि से ही अपनाया था लेकिन हे प्रभु परिणाम से ही दुख स्वरूप सिद्ध हुई है प्रभु जब देवलोक को प्राप्त करके भी देवगणों को मेरी सहायता की इच्छा हुई तो उसे स्वर्ग लोक में भी प्रतिदिन शांति कहां है यह प्रभु समस्त संसार की उत्पत्ति के आदि स्थान आपकी आराधना कीजिए बिना कोई शाश्वत शांति प्राप्त कर सकता है हे प्रभु आपकी माया से ढूंढ हुए पुरुष जन्म मृत्यु और जरा आदि संतपोर्न को भोंकते हुए अंत में यमराज के दर्शन करते हैं आपके स्वरूप को न जाने वाले पुरुष नेरकों में पकड़ कर अपने कर्मों के फल स्वरुप अनेक प्रकार के धारुन क्लेश पाते हैं हे प्रभु मी अनंत विश्व में हूं और आपकी माया से मोहित होकर मैं अभी रावण के गड्ढे में भटकता रहा हूं वही मैं आज अपार और अप्रिय परम पद रूप आप परमेश्वर की शरण में आया हूं

O Lord, the men searching for you through your illusion, barking at the saints like birth, death and the beginning, finally Yamraj. People who do not know your form get caught in the hells and get various types of miseries as a result of their deeds. O Lord, I am in the infinite world and being fascinated by your illusion, I have been wandering in Ravana's pit. Today I have come in surrender to You, the Supreme Lord, in the form of the immense and unpleasant Supreme Being.
