श्री पाराशर जी बोले है मैथिली रुक्मणी के प्रद्युमन के अतिरिक्त चारों वेद पशु सुद्धेशन वरियावन चारों दे सुपरेशन चारों गुप्त भद्र चारों चारों वृंदा सुचारू और बलवान में सर्वश्रेष्ठ चारों नामक पुत्र तथा चारुमति नमक की एक कमियां थी रुक्मणी के अतिरिक्त श्री कृष्ण के कालिंदी मित्र विदा नॉन जीत की पुत्री सत्य जामवन की पुत्री कमरूपानी आई सिलवटी भद्र राज सुधा सुशीला भद्रा सिराजित की पुत्री सद्भावना और चारों हसीन लक्ष्मण के अति सुंदर साथ स्त्रियों और थी इसके अतिरिक्त उनके 16000 स्तरीय और भी थी रुकने की सुंदर कन्या को प्रदुमन ने और उसे कन्या ने प्रभु श्री कृष्ण के पुत्र प्रद्युम्न को स्वयंवर में ग्रहण किया उसे प्रदुमन जी के अनुरोध नाम का एक अति पराक्रम पुत्र हुआ जो युद्ध में रुद्र न होने वाले बाल का समुद्र तथा शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाला था प्रभु श्री कृष्ण ने अनुरोध के लिए भी रुक्मी की पुत्री का वर्णन किया और रुक्मी ने श्री कृष्ण जी से इशा करते हुए अपने दोहिता को अपनी पुत्री देना स्वीकार कर लिया उसके विवाह में सम्मिलित होने के लिए प्रभु श्री कृष्ण जी के साथ बलराम आदि अन्य यादव गण भी रुक्मी की राजधानी भोज कर नगर को गए जब प्रदुमन पुत्र अनुरोध का विवाह संपन्न हो गया तो कलिंगराज और राजाओं ने रुक्मी से कहा यह बलराम कृत क्रीडा अच्छी तरह जानते तो है नहीं तथा तड़पी इन्हें उनके व्यसन बहुत है जो फिर हम इन महाबलशाली बलराम को हुए से ही क्यों न जीत लें तब बाल के मध्य में चूर रुकने उन राजाओं से बोले बहुत अच्छा और सभा में बलराम जी के साथ घृत किरण आरंभ कर दी रोकने ने पहले गांव में ही बलराम जी की एक सहस्त्र हजार निष्कर्ष जीते तथा दूसरे गांव में एक सहस्त्र निष्कर्ष और जीत लिए फिर बाल राम जी ने 10000 निष्कर्ष का एक दावा और लगाया उसमें भी रखी में जीत लिया यह देश इस पर वह मूड का लिंग राजतंत्र दिखाता हुआ बहुत जोर से हंसने लगा और रुकने से कहा घृत किरीडा से हनी भज इन बलराम जी को तो मैं हर हर दिया है यह बिहार थी आज के घमंड से अंधे होकर आपसे कुशल पुरुषों का अपमान करते थे इन बातों को सुनकर बार राम जी को अत्यंत क्रुद्ध आया और उन्होंने क्रोधित होकर करोड़ निष्कर्ष का दाव लगाय और रुक्मी ने भी उन्हें ग्रहण कर उसके निमित्त पैसे फेक और उसे दव को जीते ही बलदेव की जोर से बोलते मैं जीता यह सुनते ही रूप में चीख कर बोला बलराम झूठ मत बोलो यह दावा भी मैं ही जीता है आपने इस दावा के विषय में जिगर अवश्य किया था किंतु मैंने उसका अनुमोदन तो नहीं किया यदि इस प्रकार अपने इस जीत है तो मैं इसे क्यों नहीं जीता श्री पाराशर जी बोले इस समय बलराम जी के क्रोध को बढ़ाते हुए आकाशवाणी ने गंभीर स्वर में कहा धर्म अनुसार तो इस दावा को बलराम जीत ने ही था रूप में झूठ बोल रहा है क्योंकि अनुमोदन सूचक वचन ना कहने पर भी पैसे फेंकने आदि कार्य से वह मोहित ही माना जाएगा तब क्रोध में उठकर बलराम जी ने रोकने को जुआ खेलने के पैसों से ही मार डाला फिर बलराम जी ने अत्यंत कुपित होकर एक सूअर में स्तंभ उखाड़ कर कलिंगराज को मार डाला उसे समय बलराम जी के कुपित होने से आकर मच गया और समस्त राजगढ़ भयभीत होकर भाग गए है मैथिली उसे समय रुक्मी को मारा देख श्री कृष्ण ने एक और रुक्मणी के और दूसरी और बलराम जी के भाई से कुछ भी नहीं कहा इसके पश्चात यादव सहित श्री कृष्णा पत्नी को लेकर द्वारिका पुरी चले आए
