ब्रह्मा जी बोले हे नारद अंतापुर से उठकर जब शिव जी जांवेश में आए तब हमने सब देवताओं आदि को बुला लिया विष्णु जी तथा मैं तुम्हें सप्त ऋषियों को संबोधित करते हुए इस प्रकार उच्च स्वर से कहा यह नारद एवं ही शब्द ऋषि तुमने बड़ी कृपा की केवल तुम्हारी कृपा के फल स्वरुप ही यह विवाह संपन्न हुआ है फिर विष्णु जी तथा मैं बहुत सावधान देकर हिमाचल से विदा मांगी हिमाचल बहुत से लोगों के साथ आकर विनय करते हुए बोले ही देवताओं आप मुझे छोड़कर ना जाए यद्यपि मैं आप लोगों की भली प्रकार से सेवा न कर सका सेवा तो क्या आपके चरण भी नहीं दोष का माया अत्यंत लचित हूं यहां तक की पुष्प भी लोगों को भेजना कर सका आशा है कि आप लोगों उसका विचार न करके गुनाह मेरी ग्रह को पवित्र करेंगे हे नारद या सुनकर मैं विष्णु ने तथा समस्त देवताओं ने हिमाचल से कहा है पर्वत राज तुम तो धन्य हो हमने ऐसा आनंद कहीं प्राप्त नहीं किया इस प्रकार का मनोहारी स्थान तथा भोजन कहीं प्राप्त नहीं हुआ रिद्धि सिद्धि तुमने चेले हैं संसार में तुम्हारे सामान और कौन है इस प्रकार दोनों से नम्रता के वचन का लेंगे इसके उपरांत हिमाचल बारात को अपने घर भोजन करने के लिए ले गए वहां पहुंचकर हुए बारात को भोजन करने लगे और स्त्रियां शिवजी को सुनकर गली गाने लगे जिसे आशा यह था कि यदि अभी तुम अपने संपूर्ण सामग्री अशोक रखते हो परंतु अपने भक्तों को सब कुछ प्रदान करते हो यह सुनकर शिवजी ने वरदान दिया है कि जो इस वृत्तांत को पड़ेगा वह सदैव प्रसन्न बना रहेगा

Brahma Ji said, O Narada, when Shiv Ji got up from Antapur and came to Javesh, then we called all the Gods etc. Vishnu Ji and I addressed you and the Saptarshis in a loud voice and said, Narada and hey Shabd Rishi, you have been very kind, it is only because of your kindness that this marriage has taken place. Then Vishnu Ji and I took leave from Himachal after giving a lot of caution. Himachal came with many people and said in a humble tone, O Gods, please don't leave me, although I could not serve you all properly, let alone your feet, I could not even serve you, I am very much afflicted by the illusion of faults, I could even send flowers to people, I hope that you people will not think about it and will purify my sins. O Narada, on hearing this, I, Vishnu and all the Gods said to Himachal, Mountain King, you are blessed, we have not experienced such bliss anywhere, we have not got such a beautiful place and food anywhere else, Riddhi, Siddhi are your disciples, who else is like you in the world? In this way, we will take a promise of humility from both of them. After this, Himachal will take the baraat to his house for food. After reaching there the wedding party started eating and the women started singing praises of Lord Shiva who hoped that if you keep all your material things as Ashoka now but give everything to your devotees, on hearing this Lord Shiva blessed that whoever reads this story will always remain happy.
