मा जी बोले हैं नारद जब शिवजी ने अपने नेत्र के तेज को दूर फेंक दिया तब वह सरनाडी सागर में गिर पड़ा तथा एक बालक के रूप में प्रकट होकर अत्यंत भयानक रूद्र करने लगा उसके शब्द से पृथ्वी अपने लगी वह शब्द चारों ओर फैल गया सब लोग आचार्य करने लगे पर्वत चलाएं मान क्या तथा समुद्र सूख गई तब शब्द होता एवं भूमि आश्चर्यचकित हो मेरे पास आप कर बोल ही ब्राह्मण यह कैसा शब्द है और कहां से आ रहा है आप इसको दूर कर देवताओं को आनंद प्रदान कीजिए मैं उससे कहा है देवताओं में स्वयं भी इस शब्द को सुनकर आश्चर्य चकित हूं तुम सब लोग आप अपने अपने घरों को जो जहां से यह शब्द आता है मैं वहां जाकर पता लगाता हूं इस प्रकार समझा कर मैं उन सब को विदा कर दिया तथा स्वयं उसे शब्द को ढूंढते हुए समुद्र तट पर आया वहां मैंने यह देखा कि एक अत्यंत सुंदर बालक पड़ा हुआ है उसे देखकर मैंने निश्चय किया कि वह शब्द अवश्य ही इस बालक का है आज तुम मुझको आते हुए देखकर सागर आपने उसे पुत्र सहित मेरे पास आया तथा प्रणाम करने के पश्चात उसने उसे लड़के को मेरी गोद में डाल दिया और स्वयं खड़ा रहा मैंने उससे पूछा है सागरीय पुत्र किसका है सागर ने उत्तर दिया है ब्राह्मण यह बालक मुझ में उत्पन्न होने से मेरा ही है अब आप इसका नामकरण संस्कार कीजिए हम दोनों में पर्सपेरिया वार्ता ही हो ही रही थी कि उसे लड़के ने मेरी दाढ़ी पकड़ कर इस प्रकार खींच कि मेरी आंखों से आंसू निकल पड़े तब मैं समुद्र से कहा यह समुद्र तेरा यह पुत्र अत्यंत बलशाली होकर तेरी यश को समस्त सागर में फैलाएगी इसने मेरे दाढ़ी को इतना जोर से पड़ा है कि मेरे आंखों से आंसू बहने लगे इसलिए इसका नाम जलधार होगा अब यह जहां से उत्पन्न हुआ है वहां चला जाएगा हे नारद यह कहकर मैं शुक्र को बुलाया तथा एक बड़े उत्सव का आयोजन किया फिर उसका राजा अभिषेक करके ब्राह्मणों को बहुत दान दिया जलधारी नागरिक उसकी राजधानी हुई उसे समय समुद्र ने बड़ी धूमधाम से उत्सव किरिटियां पूर्ण की इसके पश्चात मैंने जलधार से कहा है जलधार तुम्हारे कल के गुरु शुक्र होंगे इतना कहा कर वहां से मैं अंतर ध्यान हो गया तब जलधार जलधारी नगरी को बसाकर वहीं निवास करने लगा समुद्र उसे देखकर बहुत प्रसन्न था वस्तु उसने दैत्यों के राजा कने भी को बुलाकर अपने पुत्र की शक्ति का वर्णन किया कॉल ने भी उसे सुनकर कल सहित अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुआ तथा अपनी पुत्री का विवाह जलधार के साथ करने की इच्छा की धातु प्राणशुगृह की सम्मति से दोनों का विवाह बड़ी धूमधाम से संपन्न हुआ जलधार जैसे तो स्वयं ही बहुत बलवान था उसे पर शुक्र की सहायता मिलने पर उसने सब लोगों को जीतकर अधीन कर लिया उसने पुत्र प्राप्त प्रजा का पाली भांति पालन किया जो पाताल लोक में भाग गए थे वह सब भी जलधार की आज्ञा पाकर निर्भय हो उसके सामने आ पहुंचे जैलदार ऐसा राजा हुआ कि उसे राज में कभी कोई पाप नहीं होता था तीनों लोक में कभी किसी ने उसकी आज्ञा क का उल्लंघन नहीं किया उसने सब लोगों से अपने-अपने वर्णन के अनुसार धर्म कर्म कराया जिसे कोई कुमार पर अग्रसर ना हुआ इस प्रकार उसका प्रताप एवं तेज दोनों दोनों में फैल गया

I told him that even the gods themselves are surprised to hear this sound. All of you go to your respective homes and wherever this sound comes from, I will go there and find out. After explaining this, I sent them all away and I myself went to the sea shore in search of that sound. There I saw that a very beautiful child was lying there. Seeing him, I decided that the sound was definitely of this child. Today, seeing you coming to me, the ocean came to me with his son and after saluting him, he put the boy in my lap and stood there himself. I asked him, whose son is this ocean? The ocean replied, Brahmin, this child is mine as he was born in me. Now you perform his naming ceremony. We were talking about Persperiya when the boy caught my beard and pulled it in such a way that tears started flowing from my eyes. Then I said to the ocean that this son of yours will become very powerful and will spread your fame in the entire ocean. He has pulled my beard so hard that tears started flowing from my eyes. Therefore his name will be Jaldhar. Now he will go to the place from where he was born. O Narada. Saying this I called Shukra and organized a big celebration. Then anointed him as king and gave a lot of donations to the Brahmins. Jaldhari citizen became his capital. At that time the ocean completed the celebration rituals with great pomp and show. After this I said to Jaldhar that Jaldhar, your Guru for tomorrow will be Shukra. After saying this I went into meditation from there. Then Jaldhar settled in Jaldhari city and started living there. The ocean was very happy to see him. He called the king of demons Kanebhi and described the power of his son. Kanebhi also became very happy after hearing this and wished to marry his daughter to Jaldhar. With the consent of Dhatu Pranashugra, both of them got married with great pomp and show. Jaldhar was himself very strong, but on getting the help of Shukra, he conquered everyone and subjugated them. He took care of his subjects who were blessed with a son. Those who had fled to the underworld also came before him fearlessly after getting the permission of Jaldhar. Jaildar became such a king that no sin was ever committed in his reign. No one in the three worlds ever violated his order. He made everyone perform religious deeds according to their own descriptions, due to which no one could advance against him. Thus his glory and splendor spread in both the worlds.
