हे नारद इस अद्भुत गति को देखकर शिवजी ने चिंता करते हुए अपने मन में या विचार किया कि वास्तव में काशी परम मनोहर है वहां मैं जिसे भी भेजता हूं वही लौटकर नहीं आता यद्यपि आप माया भली भांति जान गया हूं कि जिस भी काशी में भेजा जाए वही वहां स्थित हो जाएं तो भी मैं और गानों को भेजने में नहीं चुकूंगा क्योंकि चंद्रमा और सूर्य ग्रहण लगने पर भी अपने कार्य को नहीं छोड़ते पूर्व जन्म के कार्यों को इस जन्म में संस्कार कहा कर पुकारा जाता है वस्तु उसे संस्कार को दूर करने के लिए उपाय करना ही श्रेष्ठ कहा गया है संस्कार के बल से भोजन बनाने आदि के सब उपकरण उपस्थित हो सकते हैं और भोजन भी तैयार होकर आ सकता है परंतु जब तक उपाय द्वारा उसे हाथ के आश्रम में मुंह में नहीं डाला जाता तब तक इस रावत की निर्माता नहीं होती इसलिए प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को उचित है कि वह उपाय से अपना मुंह मोड़ ना ले कभी से नारद यह निश्चय करके शिव जी ने पांचो गानों को और भेजा परंतु वह भी काशी में पहुंचकर फिर वहां से लौटकर नहीं आए उन्होंने भी शिवलिंग स्थापित करके काशी में रहकर स्वीकार कर लिया और शिव ने उन्हें भी काशी में स्थित होते हुए और मानना उसे समय अपने मन मे यह विचार किया कि यह भी अच्छी ही बात है कि हमारे घर काशी में जाकर स्थित हो रहे हैं हमारे गानों को वहां रहना हमारे रहने के समान ही है जब यह सब लोग वहां पहुंच जाए तब पीछे से हम भी नहीं वही निवास करेंगे यह विचार कर सदा शिव जी ने करूं आदि कर गानों और भेजे हुए भी शिवलिंग स्थापित करके काशी में ठहराए गए उन चारों गानों में जो चार शिवलिंग स्थापित किए थे उनकी महिमा संसार में प्रसिद्ध हुए समस्त पादपो को नष्ट करने वाले तथा अपने भक्तों को संपूर्ण आनंद प्रदान करने वाले हैं वास्तु इसके उपरांत शिवा जी ने तरकड़ी 22 गानों को और भेजो हुए सब जब फांसी में पहुंचे तो उन्होंने अनेक उपायों द्वारा राजा देवदास को धर्म भ्रष्ट करना जहां परंतु उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार अपने कार्य में सफलता प्राप्त नहीं हुई तब उन्होंने एकत्र होकर परस्पर इस प्रकार विचार किया कि हमें शास्त्रों बार अधिकार है जो हम शिव जी के गाना होते हुए उनके कार्य को पूरा नहीं कर सके हे नारद उसे गणों ने आपस में विचार करने को प्रात किया कहा कि हम शिवजी का आदेश पालन नहीं कर सके इससे यह प्रतीत होता है मानो हम उनके शत्रु हैं इस अवज्ञा के कारण हम सबको नरक प्राप्त होगा कर्म शुभ कर्म किए जाने पर भी उन्हें आनंद प्राप्त नहीं होता जो लोग मनुष्य सदा शिव की आज्ञा पालन करने में असमर्थ रहते हैं उन्हें दो रूप समझना चाहिए इस प्रकार वार्तालाप करते हुए जब शिव गणों ने भगवान सदाशिव का ध्यान किया तो उन्हें श्रेष्ठ बुद्धि की प्राप्ति हुई वह सब गांड भी राजा से छिपकर काशी में स्थित हो गए उन्होंने भी अपने अपने जन्म से शिवलिंगों की स्थापना की उसे लिंगों की सेवा करके सब लोग अपने-अपने मनोरथ को प्राप्त करते हैं हे नारद उसे लिंगों में कर्म केश्वर लिंग की महिमा सर्वप्रथम है उसी स्थान पर विमल दोस्त नमक सरवर है जिसका जल स्पर्श करने से मनुष्य शिव के समान हो जाता है उसे कुंड का इतिहास भी अत्यंत आनंददायक है समीप में वह इतिहास इस प्रकार है कि त्रेता युग में एक वाल्मीकि नामक व्यक्ति परम वैभव तथा जितेंद्रिय थे हुए प्रतिदिन उसे कुंडली में स्नान करके और उसी के तट पर बैठकर तपस्या करते थे एक दिन उन्होंने एक भयानक पिसाचार को देखा ऋषि ने उन्हें दुखी देखकर दुख का कारण पूछा तत्व प्रांत उसे कुंड के भीतर ले जाकर शिवलिंग के दर्शन कारण और उसी में स्नान भी कराया दिया फिर उसके संपूर्ण शरीर में उन्हें भस्म भी लगा दी इस समय क्रियो के कारण हुआ पिसाचार पाप मुक्त होगा सुंदर शेयर धारक शिवपुरी को चला गया इस समय से उसे कुंडी का नाम पिसाचार मोचन भी प्रसिद्ध हुआ है वहां एक शिव भक्त को भोजन करने से एक करोड़ ब्रह्म भोज का फल प्राप्त होता है इस कथाचार शिवलिंग की अतिरिक्त गणों द्वारा स्थापित किए जाने लिंग भी वहां अत्यंत प्रतिष्ठित है उन सब की सेवा भी आनंद प्रदान करने वाले हैं जो लोग उसे शिवलिंग की पूजा करते हैं वह अपने संपूर्ण मनोरथ को प्राप्त करते हैं हे नारद जो लोग इस कथा को सुनते तथा पढ़ते हैं उन्हें कभी दुख प्राप्त नहीं होता और भूत पिशाच का भाई सदा के लिए छूट जाता है यह कथा में निहित संडे महान आनंद देने वाली है
