हे नारद इस प्रकार निश्चय करके सूर्य ने 12 शरीर धारण किया और उन सब शरीरों द्वारा वही काशी में स्थित हो गए हुए 12 सूर्य सेवा करने पर मनुष्य की संपूर्ण मनोकामना को सिद्ध करते हैं उसके नाम इस प्रकार है पहले सूर्य लोक लाख नमक से आरसी संगम पर स्थित है वहीं स्थान जब तीर्थ का शिरोमणि माना जाता है दूसरे सूर्य उतारके नाम से उसे स्थान पर स्थित है जहां पहले राजा प्रियव्रत ने स्त्री का शरीर पाकर तपस्या की थी और शिव गिरजा से वरदान पाकर अंत में गिरजा की सखी बन गई थी उसी स्थान पर एक बकरी ने राज कन्या के रूप में जन्म लेकर मुक्ति प्राप्त की थी वह भी अपने भक्तों को उत्तम फल प्रदान करने वाले हैं तीसरे सूर्य आदि नाम से समयपुर में उपस्थित है वह समर का कुष्ठ रोग दूर हुआ था पांचवें सूर्य मैसूर आदित्य नामक है जो शिवजी तथा गिरजा की सेवा द्वारा शिव जी के दाहिने नेत्र बन के प्रतिष्ठा हुई उसकी गठन 8 वर्षों में से एक वस्तु के रूप में की जाती है छठवें सूर्य का खोल आदित्य के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है जिस समय का दूध और विनम्रता में विवाद हुआ था तथा उसमें विनती हर कर का दूध की सेवा बनी थी उसे समय अपने माता की दूध अवस्था को देखकर गरुड़ को अत्यंत कष्ट हुआ था तब गरुड़ अमृत लेने के लिए देवलोक में गए और वहां देवताओं पर विजय प्राप्त करने के पश्चात अमृत लेकर अपनी माता विनीता के पास चल दिए कश्यप के पुत्र गरुड़ जिस समय अमृत लेकर लौट रहे थे उसी समय मार्ग में विष्णु जी ने उन्हें रोक कर बड़ा भारी युद्ध किया उसे युद्ध में विष्णु गरुड़ को नहीं जीत सके तब उन्होंने चल करके गरुड़ से यह वरदान मांगा कि तुम हमें अमृत दे दो और हमारे वहां भी हो जाओ तब गरुड़ ने विष्णु की बात स्वीकार कर उन्हें अमृत दे दिया और उसके वहां भी बन गए उसे समय विनीता ने युद्ध स्थल पर का खोल द्वितीय सूर्य की स्थापना की थी जिसके उपासना से विनीता की लज्जा दूर हुई वह खगोल आदित्य अपने भक्तों की संपूर्ण मनोकामना को पूरा करने वाले हैं हे नारद सातवें अरुण नमक सूर्य शिव से उत्तर दिशा की ओर विराजमान है वह विनीता के पुत्र अरुण नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए थे उनकी सेवा करने से भी संपूर्ण कष्ट दूर होते हैं आठवीं वृहद आदित्य नामक सूर्य विशाल लक्ष्मी देवी के दक्षिण और स्थित है उसकी सेवा करके आलू हरित नमक मुनि युग हो गए थे वह संपूर्ण रोगों को दूर करने वाले तथा आनंद प्रदान करने वाले हैं नव सूर्य का नाम केशव द्वितीय है उन्होंने विष्णु जी के से उपदेश प्राप्त किया था एक दिन जब सूर्य ने यह देखा कि विष्णु जी पदोधक तीर्थ पर शिवलिंग की पूजा कर रहे थे तो उन्होंने उनके पास जाकर यह पूछा कि है विष्णु जी आप तो सबसे अधिक श्रेष्ठ हैं फिर आप यहां किसकी पूजा कर रहे हैं उसे समय विष्णु जी ने उन्हें यह उत्तर दिया है सूर्य भगवान तथा शिव हमसे बड़े हैं अतः हम यहां पर उन्हें का पूजन कर रहे हैं तुम भी शिवलिंग का पूजन करो तो तुमको उच्च पद की प्राप्ति होगी या सुनकर सूर्य उसी दिन से शिवलिंग का पूजन करने लगे और विष्णु जी को अपना गुरु जानकर वहीं स्थित हो गए दसवीं विमल द्वितीय नमक सूर्य को हरिकेश के वन में स्थापित किया था प्रभु का पुत्र जो उच्च देश का निवासी था दूर-दूर भाग्य वर्ष थोड़ी हो गया तब वह अपनी स्त्री पुरुष घर बार आदि को छोड़कर काशी में चला आया और इन्हीं विमल द्वितीय सूर्य की पूजा करके अच्छा हो गया तभी से हुए सूर्य कॉस्ट रोग को दूर करने में विशेष प्रसिद्ध है हे महाराज 11 में सूर्य का नाम द्वितीय है वह भगवान विश्वनाथ के दक्षिण की ओर स्थित है वह प्रतिदिन गंगा की सैटरडे किया है करते हैं इसी से उनका मुंह गंगा की ओर है 12वीं यमदूत नमक सूर्य उसे स्थान पर स्थित है जहां बैठकर यमराज ने कठिन तपस्या की थी उसके दर्शन से क्यामपुर में नहीं जाना पड़ता उसकी स्थापना स्वयं यमराज ने की थी जो मनुष्य चतुर्दशी के दिन भरणी नक्षत्र में उसे स्थान में जाकर श्रद्धा करते हैं उन्हें गया में श्रद्धा करने के समान फल प्राप्त होता है हे नारद खांसी में स्थित 12 सूर्य का वर्णन सुनने से रोक तथा पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं जो मनुष्य की सेवा करता है वह अत्यंत आनंद प्राप्त करता है तथा उसे पर शिवजी भी प्रसन्न होते हैं या 12 सूर्य शिव जी के परम भक्त हैं तथा शिव जी के मुख सेवा के रूप में स्मरण किया करते हैं हे नारद इसके अतिरिक्त पांचो देवता भी शिवजी के अन्य सेवक हैं जो मनुष्य शिव भक्ति को त्याग कर किसी अन्य देवता की पूजा करता है तथा जो यह समझता है कि अन्य देवता शिवजी से भिन्न है वह पशु के समान महा मूर्ख है वेद का अर्थ है कि शिवजी सबसे सम्मिलित हुए परम ब्रह्म निर्गुण आनंद स्वरूप तथा सबको प्रसन्नता प्रदान करने वाले हैं अतः एक मात्र उन्हीं का पूजन श्रेया स्वीकार है

The second Sun is situated at the place named Utkar where King Priyavrat had performed penance by taking the body of a woman and after getting a boon from Shiv Girja, she finally became the friend of Girja. At the same place, a goat had taken birth as a princess and attained salvation. She also gives great fruits to her devotees. The third Sun is present in Samaypur by the name Aadi. He was the one who cured Samar's leprosy. The fifth Sun is named Mysore Aditya, who was established as the right eye of Shiv Ji by serving Shiv Ji and Girja. He is formed as one of the 8 things. The shell of the sixth Sun is famous by the name Aditya. The time when there was a dispute between milk and humility and in that, the service of milk was made by requesting every person, that time was the time when the milk of his mother was made. Seeing this, Garuda was very pained. Then Garuda went to Devlok to get Amrit and after defeating the gods there, he took Amrit and went to his mother Vinita. When Garuda, the son of Kashyap, was returning with Amrit, Vishnu Ji stopped him on the way and fought a big battle. Vishnu could not defeat Garuda in that battle. Then he went and asked Garuda for a boon that you give us Amrit and become ours. Then Garuda accepted Vishnu's words and gave him Amrit and became hiss. At that time, Vinita had established the second Sun on the battlefield. By worshipping him, Vinita's shame was removed. That celestial body, Aditya, is the one who fulfills all the wishes of his devotees. O Narada, the seventh Sun named Arun is situated in the north direction from Shiva. He was famous as Arun, the son of Vinita. By serving him, all the troubles are removed. The eighth Sun named Vrihad Aditya is situated in the south of Vishal Lakshmi Devi. By serving him, the sage named Harit became an age old man. He is the one who removes all the diseases and provides happiness. The name of the ninth Sun is Keshav Dwitiya. He had received teachings from Vishnu ji. One day when Surya saw that Vishnu ji was worshipping Shivling at Padhodhak Tirtha, he went to him and asked that Vishnu ji you are the best, then whom are you worshipping here. At that time Vishnu ji gave him this answer that Lord Surya and Shiva are greater than us, so we are worshipping them here. If you also worship Shivling, then you will get a high position. On hearing this, Surya started worshipping Shivling from that day itself and considering Vishnu ji as his Guru, settled there. The tenth Vimal Dwitiya Sun was established in the forest of Harikash. The son of the Lord, who was a resident of a high country, was far away. When his luck became bad, he left his wife, husband, home etc. and came to Kashi and got well by worshipping this Vimal Dwitiya Sun. Since then, Surya is famous for curing cost diseases. Hey Maharaj, the name of the Sun in the 11th is Dwitiya. He is situated towards the south of Lord Vishwanath. He does the ritual of bathing the Ganga every day. That is why his face is towards the Ganga. The 12th Sun named Yamdoot is situated at that place where Yamraj had performed severe penance. One does not have to go to Kayampur to see it. It was established by Yamraj himself. The person who goes to that place on the day of Chaturdashi in Bharani Nakshatra and pays respect, gets the same result as paying respect in Gaya. O Narada, by listening to the description of the 12 Suns situated in Khauni, sins and sins are destroyed. The person who serves them gets immense joy and Lord Shiva also gets pleased with him. The 12 Suns are the ultimate devotees of Lord Shiva and are remembered as the service of Lord Shiva. O Narada, apart from this, the five gods are also the other servants of Lord Shiva. The person who abandons the devotion of Shiva and worships any other god and who thinks that other gods are different from Lord Shiva is a great fool like an animal. The meaning of the Veda is that Lord Shiva is the supreme Brahma combined with all and is the form of Nirgun Anand and gives happiness to everyone. Therefore, worshiping only him is acceptable.
