ब्रह्मा जी ने कहा हे नारद सूर्य लोक का वृतांत तुम सुन चुके आप चंद्रलोक के संबंध में सुनो चंद्रलोक सूर्य से एक लाख योजन ऊपर है वहां धर्मात्मा तथा पूर्ण आत्मा लोग जाकर जाकर अत्यंत आनंद प्राप्त करते हैं उन्हें किसी प्रकार का दुख और सुख नहीं है चंद्रमा की किरणों से जो अमृत टपकता है उसे पीकर यहां के स्वामी सदैव हस्ट पुस्ट अजर अमर तथा आनंदित बने रहते हैं अब मैं तुम्हें वह कथा सुनाता हूं जिस प्रकार चंद्रमा में इतने उच्च पद को प्राप्त किया हे नारद मेरे मन द्वारा अत्रि मुनि की उत्पत्ति हुई वह परम तेजस्वी बुद्धिमान सिलवान तथा विद्यमान है उन्हें कदम मुनि की पुत्री अनसूया के साथ अपना विवाह किया था दो प्रांत में मेरे आज्ञा अनुसार अपनी पत्नी सहित स्टॉल कल पर्वत जाकर नर्मदा नदी के तट पर निवास करने लगे वहां उन्होंने श्वास रोककर 100 वर्ष तक कठिन तपस्या की इस प्रकार का कठिन तप करते हुए जब अत्रि मुनि को बहुत समय व्यतीत हुआ और उनके मस्तक से एक अग्नि की ज्वाला निकाल कर तीनों लोक को भस्म करने लगी उसे समय सब देवता ऋषि मुनि आदि व्याकुल हो मेरे समीप आया और प्रार्थना करते हुए कहने लग हे प्रभु इस ज्वाला के कारण हम सब लोग भस्म हुए जाते हैं वास्तु आप किसी प्रकार इसे शांत करने का उपाय करें हे नारद देवताओं की प्रार्थना सुनकर मैं उन्हें साथ लेकर विष्णु जी के समीप गया तथा उन्हें प्रणाम करने के उपरांत सब वृतांत का सुनाया तब विष्णु जी अत्यंत आश्चर्य चकित हो हम सब लोगों को साथ लेकर शिवजी के समीप जा पहुंचे वहां उन्होंने दंडवत प्रणाम तथा स्तुति करने के उपरांत शिव जी ने सब वृतांत का सुनाया उसे समय शिव जी ने यह उत्तर दिया है देवताओं तुम लोग अपने हृदय में भी चिंतित मत हो अत्रि मुनि योग साधना कर वायु को जीत प्रणाम किया हुए तब एवं ध्यान में मांगना बैठे यह ज्वाला उन्हीं के मस्तक से प्रकट हुए हैं अब हम उन्हें जानकर वरदान देंगे इतना कह कर शिवजी मुझे तथा विष्णु जी को साथ लिए हुए अत्रि मुनि के पास जा पहुंचे उसे समय हम तीनों हैं देवता अपने मुख स्वरूप को धारण किए हुए थे तब उन्होंने अपने मुख वहां पर अरुण थे हम तीनों ने एक साथ ही अत्रि मुनि से वर मांगने के लिए कहा और उन्हें यह विश्वास दिलाया कि तुम्हारे सामान कठिन तब तीनो लोक में किसी ने नहीं किया है हम लोग के मुख से यह वचन सुनकर अत्रि मुनि ने दंडवत प्रणाम करने के उपरांत प्रार्थना की तदुपरांत हाथ जोड़कर यह कहा हे प्रभु मैं तो केवल एक ही देवता का तप किया था फिर क्या कारण है जो आप तीनों यहां पधारे हैं सर्वप्रथम आप मुझे अपने एक साथ का कारण बताएं तत्पश्चात वर प्रदान करें हे नारद अत्रि मुनि की बात सुनकर हम तीनों ने एक साथ कहा है मूवी तुमने जगदीश के दर्शन प्राप्त करने के निर्माता तब किया था हम तीनों देवता जगदीश कहते हैं तथा हम तीनों में कोई अंतर नहीं है यही कारण है कि हम तीनों तुम्हारे हिसाब से प्रसन्न होकर यहां आए हैं तुमने संतान प्राप्ति के हेतु यह तब किया है आज तो हम तीनों देवता अपने अपने अंश द्वारा तुम्हारे या तीन पुत्रों के रूप में जन्म लेंगे तथा तीनों लोक में प्रसिद्धि प्राप्त कर माता-पिता के सूर्यास्त को बढ़ाएंगे इतना कह कर हम लोग अत्रि मुनि को भक्ति का वरदान दे अपने-अपने लोग को लौट आए तब अत्रि भी अत्यंत प्रसन्न होकर अपने घर को चले गए हे नारद उचित समय आने पर हम तीनों देवताओं नेत्री के घर आपने आंसर द्वारा तीन पुत्रों के रूप में जन्म लिया उसे समय आकाश से पुष्प वर्षा होने लगी तथा संपूर्ण संसार में आनंद भर गया मेरे ऑन से चंद्रमा विष्णु जी के उनसे दत्ता तेरी तथा शिवजी के आज से दुर्वासा का जन्म हुआ यहां मैं तुम्हें केवल चंद्रमा के संबंध में बताता हूं कुछ बड़े होने का चंद्रमा ने काशी जी में जाकर भगवान सदा शिव के चरणों का ध्यान धरते हुए कठिन तप किया तब शिवजी ने प्रसन्न होकर उन्हें वरदान दिया तथा सूर्य लोक के ऊपर रहने के लिए एक लोग भी प्रदान किया इसके साथ ही शिवजी ने चंद्रमा को समस्त ब्राह्मणों का राजा भी बना दिया तब से चंद्रमा अपने लोक में रहकर भगवान सदाशिव का पूजन करते हुए इस प्रकार स्तुति किया करते हैं हे प्रभु आप तीनों लोक के स्वामी एवं अंतर्यामी है ब्रह्मा विष्णु आदि देवता आपके सबके हैं सेवक है आज तो आप मेरे ऊपर सदैव कृपा बनाए रहे हे नारद अब मैं नक्षत्र लोक का वर्णन करता हूं यह नक्षत्र लोग चंद्रलोक से 3 लाख योजन ऊपर है इसमें अश्वनी आदि नक्षत्र रहते हैं नक्षत्र में इस लोक को कैसे प्राप्त किया है यह कथा मैं तुमसे कहता हूं प्रजापति के साथ कन्याओं का उत्पन्न किया था उसमें अश्वनी से लेकर रोटी तक 27 का नियमों ने काशी जी में जाकर कठिन तक किया उसके यह इच्छा है थी कि हम सब शिवजी को अपना पति बने हुए वास्तु जब शिवजी उसकी तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर वरदान देने के लिए गए उसे समय उन्होंने स्तुति प्रणाम करने के उपरांत या प्रार्थना की है प्रभु आप अपने भक्तों को मनोकामना को पूर्ण करने वाले हमारी यह इच्छा है कि आप हम सबको अपनी पत्नी के ऊपर स्वीकार करें यह सुनकर शिवजी ने उत्तर दिया है कन्याओं हम तुम्हें रहने के लिए चंद्रलोक के ऊपर एक लोग देते हैं तीनों लोक में हमारे आठ रूप प्रसिद्ध है उनमें एक चंद्रमा का भी है अतः हम तुम्हें यह वरदान देते हैं कि चंद्रमा तुम्हारे पति होंगे अब तुम अपने लोक में स्थित होकर चंद्रमा के साथ सुख पूर्वक बिहार करो पुरुषों के समान तब करने के कारण तुम्हारा नाम पुरुषों के समान प्रसिद्ध होंगे हे नारद इतना कह कर जब शिवजी अंतर ध्यान हो गए हुए सब का न्याय लौटकर दक्ष प्रजापति के पास आ पहुंची उसे समय दक्ष ने शिव जी के वरदान का वरदान जानकर उसका विवाह चंद्रमा के साथ कर दिया तब उन्होंने 12 राशियों के रूप में चंद्रमा को अत्यंत आनंद प्रदान किया वह सब नक्षत्र लोक में रहते हुए भगवान सदा शिव का पूजन करती है तथा इस प्रकार प्रार्थना किया करती है हे प्रभु आप सब देवताओं में श्रेष्ठ तथा संपूर्ण संसार के स्वामी है आपका नाम चंद्रचूड़ मोड दोस्त तारक फुल प्राणी त्रिपुरा संभोग बृजेश बामदेव अस्थि कांड संतान कर्मी त्रांबक ब्रह्म परमात आदि प्रसिद्ध है आप हमारे ऊपर ऐसा अनुग्रह कीजिए कि हम सदैव निष्पाप रहे

Now I will tell you the story of how the moon attained such a high position. O Narada, Atri Muni was born from my mind. He is extremely radiant, intelligent and powerful. He married Anasuya, the daughter of Kadam Muni. As per my order, he went to the Sthal mountain with his wife and started living on the banks of the Narmada river. There he did a tough penance for 100 years by holding his breath. While doing such a tough penance, when Atri Muni spent a lot of time and a flame of fire came out of his head and started burning the three worlds, at that time all the gods, sages, etc. became restless and came to me and started praying saying, Lord, because of this flame we all are being burnt. Please try to calm it down in some way. O Narada, after listening to the prayers of the gods, I took them along to Vishnu ji and after bowing to him, I narrated the whole story. Vishnu ji was very surprised and took all of us along and went to Shiva ji. There he bowed down and after praising him, Shiva ji narrated the whole story. At that time Shiva ji replied that Gods, you all should not be worried even in your heart. Atri Muni after doing yoga sadhna, had conquered the wind and bowed to it and sat down in meditation to pray. This flame has appeared from his head. Now we will get to know him and give him a boon. Saying this, Shiva ji took me and Vishnu ji along and went to Atri Muni. At that time we three gods had assumed the form of our faces. Then he had Arun on his face. We three together asked Atri Muni to ask for a boon and assured him that no one in the three worlds has done something as difficult as you. On hearing these words from our mouth, Atri Muni said yes. After prostrating, he prayed and then with folded hands said, O Lord, I had done penance of only one deity, then what is the reason that all three of you have come here? First of all, tell me the reason for your coming together and then grant me a boon. O Narada, after listening to Atri Muni, all three of us said together, you had done this to get the darshan of Jagdish. We three gods call Jagdish and there is no difference between the three of us. That is why we three have come here pleased with you. You have done this to get a child. Today, all three of us gods will take birth as your three sons through our own parts and will increase the sunset of the parents by getting fame in the three worlds. Saying this, we gave the boon of devotion to Atri Muni and returned to our respective people. Then Atri also went to his home very happily. O Narada, when the right time came, all three of us gods took birth as three sons through your blessings in the house of Netri. At that time, flowers started raining from the sky and the whole world was filled with joy. From my eyes, the moon and Vishnu ji were born to me. Datta, from today Durvasa was born to you and Lord Shiva. Here I am telling you only about the moon. When the moon grew up, it went to Kashi and meditated on the feet of Lord Sada Shiva and performed a tough penance. Then Shiva was pleased and gave it a boon and also gave it a place to live above the Sun world. Along with this, Shiva also made the moon the king of all Brahmins. Since then, the moon stays in its world and worships Lord Sadashiv and praises him in this way. O Lord, you are the master and omniscient of all the three worlds. Brahma, Vishnu and other gods are your servants. Today, please keep your blessings on me always. O Narada, now I describe the Nakshatra world. These Nakshatras are 3 lakh yojanas above Chandralok. In it, Ashwani and other constellations live. I am telling you the story of how this world was attained in the Nakshatra. Prajapati had produced daughters in it. From Ashwani to Roti, 27 of them were born. She went to Kashi and performed a tough penance. It was her wish that all of us should have Lord Shiva as our husband. When Shiva was pleased with her penance and agreed to give her a boon, she At that time, after praising and saluting, they prayed that Prabhu, you are the one who fulfils the wishes of your devotees, it is our wish that you accept all of us as your wives. Hearing this, Shivji replied, girls, we are giving you a place above Chandralok to live. Our eight forms are famous in all the three worlds, one of them is that of Moon, so we give you this boon that Moon will be your husband. Now, staying in your world, you live happily with Moon like men, then due to doing this, your name will become famous like men. O Narada, after saying this, when Shivji went into deep meditation, the justice of all came back to Daksh Prajapati. At that time, Daksh, knowing the boon of Shivji, married her to Moon, then he gave immense joy to Moon in the form of 12 zodiac signs. She always worships Lord Shiva while living in all the Nakshatra lok and prays in this way, O Prabhu, you are the best among all the gods and the master of the whole world, your name is Chandrachud.Mode friend Tarak flower creature Tripura Sambhog Brijesh Bamdev Asthi Kand Santan Karmi Trambak Brahma Parmat etc are famous.
