इतनी कथा सुनकर नारद जी ने कहा हे पिता मन्वंत्रण का वृत्तांत सुनकर मुझे हत्या नादान हुआ अब आप मुझे साथ में बसे वक्त मन्वंत्रण का जो इस समय व्यतीत हो रहा है वह सब वृतांत सुनने की कृपा करें इस मनुवंत्रण में राजाओं की कथा हो उन्हें भी कृपा कर कहे ब्रह्मा जी बोले ही पुत्र अब मैं तुम्हें बेस वक्त मुनि की संतानों की कथा सुनाता हूं इस वक्त मुनि क के संतान में अनेक धर्म आत्मा राजा उत्पन्न हुए उसकी कथा पूर्ण हो पुण्य को बढ़ाने वाली है हे नारद सूर्य का जन्म कश्यप से हुआ है सूर्य की संज्ञा नामक स्त्री तथा श्रद्ध देव तथा यह नामक दो पुत्र और यमुना नमक कन्या का जन्म हुआ संज्ञा मिथुन के समय सूर्य के तेज तथा बाल को सहने में अश्वक हो गई तब उसमें या समर्थ ना रही कि वह सूर्य के साथ फिर भोग कार्य वस्तु उसे मिथुन से छुड़ाकर पाने हेतु अपने ही समान एक दूसरी स्त्री को उत्पन्न करने उनका नाम छाया रख जब छाए ने उसे अपने उत्पन्न करने का कारण पूछा उसे समय संज्ञा ने यह उत्तर दिया मैंने तो अपने पिता के घर जाती हूं तुम मेरे बदले या रह कर मेरी तीनों संतानों को अपनी संतानों के समान समझ कर पालन पोषण करना तथा यातना प्रयत्न करने की कोई भी व्यक्ति इस भेद को ना जान सके छाया ने यह सब स्वीकार कर लिया तब संज्ञा अत्यंत लज्जित हो अपने पिता के घर चली गई जब संज्ञा के पिता को उसके आने का कारण याद हुआ तब उसने अत्यंत चिंता होकर संज्ञा को धमकाया तथा यह कहा कि तुम अपने पति को घर रहना ही उचित है यह सुनकर संज्ञा अपने पिता के घर से निकाल थोड़ी का स्वरूप धारण कर उत्तर दिशा की ओर एक वैन में चली गई तथा व्याकुल होकर वहीं इधर-उधर ब्राह्मण करती रही हे नारद इस प्रकार संज्ञा तो घोड़ी का स्वरूप धारण किए वन में भ्रमण कर रही थी उधर सूर्य इस भेद को ना जानकर छाया को ही संज्ञा समझते हुए उसके साथ रमन करते रहते परिणाम स्वरुप छाया के गर्भ से दो बालक तथा एक कन्या की उत्पत्ति हुई पहली बार उनकी गैरों से सात्विक नामक पुत्र उत्पन्न हुआ जो आठवां मनु हुआ दूसरी बार शनिचर नामक पुत्र उत्पन्न हुआ जो सातवां ग्रह है तीसरी ताप्ती नामक एक कन्या उत्पन्न हुई जिसका विवाह श्रवण मुनि के साथ हुआ जब छाए को संज्ञा की भांति रहते हुए बहुत समय व्यतीत हो गया तभी उसकी बुद्धि में विरोध उत्पन्न होने में या वह अपनी संतान से अधिक प्रेम लगा करने लगे तथा संज्ञा के पुत्रों के घृणा उठी श्रद्धा देव तो इस बात को सह गए परंतु यह को छाया कैसा व्यवहार देखकर अत्यंत क्रुद्ध और उन्हें उसे मारने की इच्छा से अपना भाव ऊपर उठाया इस समय छाया ने अत्यंत क्रुद्ध होकर यह को यह श्राप दिया कि तुमने जो पर मेरे मरने के लिए उठाया है वह तुम्हारे सर से अलग होकर गिर पड़े हे नारद इस रात को सुनकर यह मध्य क्रोध हो सूर्य के समीप पहुंचे तथा उन्हें सब हाल सुनाते हुए प्रार्थना किया है पिता आप ऐसी कृपा कीजिए जिससे मेरा पांव गिरने से बच जाए यह की बात सुनकर सूर्य को अत्यंत आश्चर्य हुआ और वह सोचने लगे की यह क्या आश्चर्य है जो माता अपने पुत्र पर इस प्रकार क्रोध करती है फिर कुछ विचार करने के उपरांत उन्हें यह के द्रव्य बनते हुए का एक पुत्र तुम चिंता मत करो मुझे अत्यंत आश्चर्य है कि तुम्हारे जैसे धर्मात्मा तथा सत्यवादी पुत्र को तुम्हारी माता ने किस प्रकार द्वेष लगा दिया है संसार में किसी भी पिता ने ऐसी समर्थ नहीं किया कि वह आत्मा के दिए हुए श्राप को दूर कर सके हम मैं तुम्हें यह व आवश्यक देता हूं कि तुम अंग भंग हो जाने पर भी पृथ्वी पर नहीं गिरोगेटा तथा तुम्हें कोई कष्ट भी नहीं होगा हे नारद इस प्रकार यह को समझने के उपरांत सूर्य में छाया के समीप जाकर यह कहा है निरबुद्धि स्त्री तुमने यह कैसा डर दुष्कर्म किया माता के समीप सभी पुत्र एक समान होने चाहिए तू मुझे वास्तविक कारण बताया यह सुनकर छाया ने प्रारंभ से अंत तक सब सच्चा हाल का सुनाया यह बात दिया कि वह संज्ञा के रूप में वहां राह अवश्य रही थी परंतु वास्तव में संज्ञा नहीं है यह सुनकर सूर्य आपने जरा और के घर जा पहुंचे वहां सब उन्हें यह ज्ञात हुआ की संज्ञा वन को चली गई है तो वह अपने तेज को कम करने संज्ञा को ढूंढने के लिए निकले जब उन्होंने वन में जाकर यह देखा की संज्ञा घोड़े का स्वरूप रखकर विचरण कर रही है तो उन्हें स्वयं घोड़े का रूप धारण कर उसके साथ मिथुन करना चाहा यह देखकर संज्ञा भयभीत हो आगे की ओर भाग उठी उसे समय सूर्य ने अत्यंत कामवास को अपना वीर्य मुख मार्ग द्वारा संज्ञा के मुख पर छोड़ दिया उसे वीर्य के प्रभाव से संज्ञा की नासिक द्वारा दो पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए हुए संसार में अश्वनी तथा कुमार के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है अश्विनी कुमार देवताओं के वेद हुए हे नारद इस चरित्र के उपरांत सूर्य ने संज्ञा के समूह का अपना रहस्य स्वरूप अत्यंत कोमल तथा सुंदर रूप में प्रकट किया उसे देखकर संज्ञा भी अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुई वास्तविक स्वरूप धारण कर अपने घर लौट आई फिर छाया भी उसके साथ रहकर इसने पूर्वक समय व्यतीत करने लगी संज्ञा के पुत्र श्रद्धा देव सातवें मनु हुए जो वे स्वास्थ्य नाम से प्रसिद्ध है यमराज ने दिगपाल होकर उच्च पद को प्राप्त किया यमुना ने नदी होकर श्री कृष्ण चंद्र जी से अधिक ने पाया इसी प्रकार छाया की संतानों में से श्रावणी आठवां मनु हुए तथा शनिचर ग्राम पद को प्राप्त किया जो लोग इसे पढ़ने सुनते अथवा सुनते हैं उन्हें दोनों लोग में सुख प्राप्त होता है

At this time, many religious souled kings were born from the children of sage Bas Wakt. Its story should be completed and it will increase the virtues. O Narad, Surya was born to Kashyap. Surya had a wife named Sangya and two sons named Shraddha Dev and Ya and a daughter named Yamuna. Sangya became a horse to bear the brightness and hair of Surya at the time of mating. Then she was not able to bear the brilliance and hair of Surya. Then she gave birth to another woman like herself. She was named Chhaya. When Chhaya asked her the reason for giving birth to her, Sangya replied, I am going to my father's house. You stay in my place and consider my three children as your own children. To nurture and torture her so that no one could know this secret. Chhaya accepted all this and then Sangya went to her father's house feeling very ashamed. When Sangya's father remembered the reason for her coming, he threatened Sangya with great worry and said that it is better for you to stay at your husband's house. Hearing this, Sangya left her father's house and assumed the form of a horse and went in a van towards the north and kept roaming here and there in a restless state. O Narada, in this way Sangya was roaming in the forest assuming the form of a mare. On the other hand, Surya, not knowing this secret, considered Chhaya to be Sangya and kept on enjoying with her. As a result, two boys and a girl were born from Chhaya's womb. First, a son named Satvik was born from her womb, who was the eighth Manu. Second time a son named Shanichar was born, who is the seventh planet. Third, a girl named Tapti was born, who was married to Shravan Muni. When Chhaya spent a lot of time living like Sangya, then only a conflict started arising in her mind and she started loving her child more. The sons of Sanjna were filled with hatred. Shraddha Dev tolerated this thing but seeing the behavior of Chhaya, he became very angry and raised his spirit with the desire to kill her. At this time Chhaya, being very angry, cursed Yaha that the feather that you have raised for me to die should separate from your head and fall down. O Narada, on hearing this, he became very angry and went to Surya and narrating the whole situation to him, prayed that father, please be kind to him so that my foot is saved from falling. On hearing this, Surya was very surprised and he started thinking that what is this surprise that a mother is so angry with her son. Then after thinking for a while, he said to Yaha that a son, don't you worry, I am very surprised that how your mother has hated a pious and truthful son like you. In the world, no father has been capable enough to remove the curse given by the soul. I give you this guarantee that even if your body is amputated, you will not fall on the earth and you will not have any pain. O Narada, after understanding this, Surya went to Chhaya. He went and said, you foolish woman, what kind of a misdeed have you committed? All sons should be equal to their mother. You should tell me the real reason. Hearing this, Chhaya narrated the whole truth from beginning to end. She told that she was definitely there in the form of Sangya but in reality she was not Sangya. Hearing this, Surya went to Jara and his wife's house. There he came to know that Sangya had gone to the forest. So he went out to look for Sangya to reduce his brilliance. When he went to the forest and saw that Sangya was roaming around in the form of a horse, he himself took the form of a horse and wanted to mate with her. Seeing this Sangya got scared and ran ahead. At that time Surya released his semen of extreme lust on Sangya's face through the mouth. Due to the effect of that semen, two sons were born to Sangya through Nasik. They are famous in the world as Ashwini and Kumar. Ashwini Kumars are the Vedas of the gods. Oh Narada. After this incident, Surya revealed his secret form of Sangya's group in a very soft and beautiful form. Seeing that Sangya also became very happy. Taking her real form, she returned to her home. Then Chhaya also stayed with him and spent her time with him. Shraddha Dev, the son of Lagi Sanjna, became the seventh Manu, who is famous by the name of Swasthya. Yamraj attained a high position by becoming the guardian of the directions. Yamuna, being a river, got more than Shri Krishna Chandra Ji. Similarly, among the children of Chaya, Shravani became the eighth Manu and Shanichar attained the position of village. Those who read or listen to this, get happiness in both the worlds.
