श्री साई चरित्र अध्याय 21

श्री भी ठाकुर श्री आनंद राव पाटकर और पंढरपुर के वकील की कथा इस अध्याय में हेमा दत्त पंत ने श्री विनायक हरिश्चंद्र ठाकुर बा श्री अनंत राव पाटकर पुणे निवासी तथा अंडापुर के एक वकील की कथा का वर्णन किया है यह सब कथा आती रोमांचक है यदि इसका सारांश मानपूर्वक ग्रहण करें उन्हें आचरण में ले जाए तो अधिकांश आध्यात्मिक पद पर पाठक गण अवश्य अग्रसर होंगे प्रारंभ एक साधारण स्वामी नियम है कि गत जन्म के शुभ कर्मों के फल स्वरुप ही हमें संतानों का सत्यार्थ और उसकी कृपा प्राप्त होती है उदाहरणता हेमादत पंत स्वयं अपनी घटना प्रस्तुत करते हैं कोई अनेक वर्ष तक तांबे की उपनगर बांद्रा की स्थानीय न्यायाधीश रहे पीर मौलाना नामक एक मुस्लिम संत भी वही निवास करते थे उनकी दशा अंतर अनेक निवास हिंदू फारसी और अन्य धर्म वाली वहां जाया करते थे उसके मुजार पुजारी के हीमैडम पंत ने भी उनका दर्शन करने के लिए बहुत आगरा किया परंतु किसी न किसी कारणवश उसकी भेंट उनसे ना हो सकी अनेक वर्ष के उपरांत जब उनका शुभ कल आया तब वह शिरडी पहुंचे और बाबा के दरबार में जाकर स्थाई रूप से सम्मिलित हो गए भाग्य हीरो को सात संत समागम की प्राप्ति कैसे हो सकती है केवल वही भाग्यशाली हैं उन्होंने ऐसा अवसर प्राप्त होगा संतों द्वारा लोक शिक्षा संतों द्वारा लोक शिक्षा का कार्य चिरकाल से ही इस विश्व में संपादित होता आया है आने को संत भिन्न-भिन्न स्थानों पर किसी निश्चित उपदेश की पूर्ति के लिए स्वयं प्रकट होते हैं यदि अपनी उनका कार्य स्थल भिन्न होता है परंतु वह सब पूर्णता एक ही है वह सब कुछ सौरभ शक्तिमान परमेश्वर की संचालन शक्ति के अंतर्गत एक ही लाइन में कार्य करते हैं उन्हें प्रत्येक कार्य का परस्पर ज्ञान रहता है और आवश्यकता अनुसार हुए परस्पर पूर्ति भी करते हैं जो निम्नलिखित घटना द्वारा स्पष्ट है श्री ठाकुर श्री वह ठाकुर बा रोहिणी विभाग में एक कर्मचारी थे वह एक समय भूमि मापन दल के साथ कार्य करते हुए बेलगांव के समीप वडगांव नामक ग्राम में पहुंचे वहां उन्होंने एक कंट्री संत पुरुष पापा के दर्शन कर उसकी चरण वंदना की वह अपने भक्तों को निश्चल डस्कृत विचार सागर नामक ग्रंथ जो वेदांत के विषय में है का भावार्थ समझ रहे थे जब श्री ठाकुर उसे विदाई लेने लगे तो उन्हें कहा तुम्हें इस ग्रंथ का ध्यान अवश्य करना चाहिए और ऐसा करने से तुम्हारी इच्छा पूर्ण हो जाए तथा जब कालांतर में उत्तर दिया उत्तर दिशा में जाओ तो सौभाग्य वास्तु भरी एक महान संत से भेंट होगी जो मार्ग प्रदर्शन कर तुम्हारा हृदय को शांति और सुख प्रदान करेगी बाद में उनका स्थानांतरण व्यवहार को हो गया वहां की नागवेद पर करके जाना पड़ता था उसे घाट अधिक गहरा और पार करने में कठिन था इसलिए उन्हें पैसे की सवारी का घाट पर करना पड़ा जो उन्हें अधिक असुविधा जनक तथा काश्तकार प्रतीत हुआ उसके पश्चात उसके स्थानांतरण कल्याण में एक उच्च पद पर हो गया और वहां उनका नाना साहब चांदोलकर से परिचय हुआ उसके द्वारा उन्हें श्री साइन बाबा के संबंध में बहुत कुछ ज्ञात हुआ और उसके दर्शन की तीव्र उत्कृष्ट हुई दूसरे दिन ही नानासाहेब शिर्डी के लिए प्रस्थान कर रहे थे उन्हें श्री ठाकुर से भी अपने साथ चलने का आगरा किया ठाकरे के दीवानी न्यायालय में एक मुकदमे के संबंध में उसकी उपस्थिति आवश्यक होने के कारण हुए उसके साथ ना जा सके इस प्रकार नाना साहब अकेले ही रवाना हो गए ठाकरे पहुंचने पर मुकदमे की तारीख आगे के लिए बढ़ गई इसलिए उन्हें नाना साहेब का साथ न देने का पछतावा हुआ फिर वह 3D पहुंचे तब वहां उन्हें ज्ञात हुआ कि नानासाहेब पिछले दिन ही यहां से चले गए हैं वह अपने कुछ मित्रों के साथ जो वही मिल गए थे वह साइन बाबा के दर्शन को गए उन्होंने बाबा के दर्शन किए और उनके चरण कमल की आराधना का अत्यंत हर्षित हुए उन्हें रोमांस हो आया और उसकी आंखों से आंसू धारा प्रवाहित होने लगे त्रिकालदर्शी बाबा ने उनसे कहा इस स्थान का मार्ग इतना सम नहीं जितना की ना खड़ी संत अपर के उपदेश या ना घटे पर वैसे ही सवारी थी आध्यात्मिक पेंट पर चलने के लिए तुम्हें घोर परिश्रम करना पड़ेगा क्योंकि वह अत्यंत कठिन पद है जब श्री ठाकुर ने सारा गणित शब्द सुने इसका अर्थ उनके अतिरिक्त और कोई न जानता था तो उनके हर्ष का परिवार ना रहा और उन्हें कठिन संतों के वचन की स्मृति होती तब उन्होंने दोनों हाथ जोड़कर बाबा के चरणों पर अपना मस्तक रखा और उस प्रार्थना की प्रभु मुझ पर कृपा करो और इस अनाथ को अपने चरण कमल की शीतल छाया में स्थान दो तब बाबा बोले जो कुछ आपदा ने कहा है वह सत्य था इसका आभास इस उसके अनुसार ही तुम्हारे आचरण करना चाहिए व्यर्थ बैठने से कुछ लाभ नहीं होगा जो कुछ तुम पाटन करते हो उसको आचरण में ही ले आओ अन्यथा उसका उपयोग ही क्या है गुरु कृपा के बिना ग्रंथ अवलोकन तथा आत्मा अनुभूति निरर्थ की है श्री ठाकुर ने अभी तक केवल विचार सागर ग्रंथ हमेशा देवी प्रकरण की पढ़ा था परंतु उसकी प्रत्यक्ष व्यवहार प्रणाली तो उन्हें शिर्डी में ही ज्ञात हुई एक दूसरी कथा भी इस सत्य का और अधिक शाश्वत प्रेरणा प्रमाण है श्री अनंत राव पाटकर पुणे के एक महाशय श्री अनंत राव पाटकर श्री साइन बाबा के दर्शन के इच्छुक थे उन्हें श्री आकर बाबा के दर्शन किए दर्शन से उसके नेत्र शीतल हो गए और वह अति प्रसन्न हुए उन्होंने बाबा के श्री चरण छुए और यथा योग पूजा करने के उपरांत बोले मैंने बहुत कुछ पठन किया वेद वेदांत और उपनिषद का भी अध्ययन किया तथा अन्य पुराण श्री श्रवण किया फिर भी मुझे शांति नाम मिल सकी इसलिए मेरा पठान व्यर्थ ही स्थित हुआ एक नीर अज्ञानी भक्त मुझे कहीं श्रेष्ठ है जब तक मन को शांति नहीं मिलती तब तक ग्रंथ अवलोकन व्यर्थ ही है मैंने ऐसा सुना है कि आप केवल अपनी सृष्टि मात्र से और पेट विनोद पूर्ण वचन द्वारा दूसरों के मन को सरलता पूर्वक शांति प्रदान कर देती है यही सुनकर मैं भी यहां आया हूं कृपया कर मुझे दास को भी आशीर्वाद दीजिए तब बाल बने निम्नलिखित कथन कहीं घोड़ी की लीड के नव गोली नवधा भक्ति एक समय सौदागर यहां आया उसके समझ ही एक घोड़ी में डिलीट की जिज्ञासु सौदागर ने अपनी धोती का एक छोड़ विचार कर उसी में लीड को नव को ले रख दिए और इस प्रकार उसमें जीत को शांति प्रदान हुई श्री पाटकर इस कथन का कुछ भी व्यर्थ मन समझ सके इसलिए उन्होंने श्री गणेश दामोदड़ो नाम दादा खेलकर से अर्थ समझने की प्रार्थना की और पूछा कि बाबा के कहने का अभिप्राय क्या है वह बोले कि जो कुछ बाबा कहते हैं उसे मैं स्वयं भी अच्छी तरह नहीं समझ सकता परंतु उसकी प्रेरणा से ही मैं जो पूछ समझ सकूंगा वह तुमसे कहता हूं घोड़ी है ईश कृपा और 9 एकत्रित बोले ना विधि भक्ति यथा श्रवण कीर्तन नामकरण पड़सेन अचरज वंदन तस्कर आत्म निवेदन यह भक्ति के नव प्रकार हैं इसमें से यदि एक को भी सत्य से कार्य रूप में लाया जाए तो भगवान श्री हरि अति प्रसन्न होकर भक्ति के घर प्रगति हो जाएंगे समस्त साधनाएं अर्थात जब तक योग अभ्यास तथा वेदों के पठन-पाठन में जब तक भक्ति का समझ ना हो बिल्कुल उसका ही है वेद ज्ञानी या ब्रह्म ज्ञानी का कीर्तन भक्ति भावना के अभाव मैं निरर्थक है आवश्यकता है कि तो केवल पूर्ण भक्त की अपने को भी उसे सौदागर के समान ही जानकार और व्यग्रता तथा उत्कृष्ट पूर्वक सत्य की खोज कर नव प्रकार की भक्ति को प्राप्त करो तब कहीं तुझे ढूंढता तथा मानसिक शांति प्राप्त होगी दूसरे दिन जब श्री पाठक का बाबा को प्रणाम करने गए तो बाबा ने पूछा कि क्या तुमने लीड के नाम बोले एकत्रित किए उन्होंने कहा मैं अनाश्रित हूं आपकी कृपा के बिना उन्हें सरलता पूर्वक एकत्रित करना संभव नहीं है बाबा ने उन्हें आशीर्वाद देकर संतान दिखाई तुम्हें सुख और शांति प्राप्त हो जाए जिसे सुनकर श्री पाठ करके हर्ष का पर वार न रह पंढरपुर के वकील भक्तों के दोस्त दूर करने के उन्हें उचित पद पर ला देने की बाबा की त्रिकाल ज्ञात की एक छोटी सी कथा का वर्णन कर इस अध्याय को समाप्त करेंगे एक समय पंढरपुर से एक वकील शिरडी आए उन्होंने बाबा के दर्शन उन्हें प्रणाम किया तब कुछ दक्षिणा भेद देकर एक कोने में बैठकर वार्तालाप सुनाने लगे बाबा उनकी ओर देखकर कहानी लगे कि लोग कितने भूत है जो यहां आकर चरण पर गिरते और दक्षिणा देते परंतु पीठ पीछे गालियां देते रहते हैं कितने आश्चर्य की बात है ना यह पाखंडी वकील के सिर पर ठीक बैठी और उन्हें उन्हें पहचानी पड़ी कोई भी इन शब्दों का अर्थ न समझ सका परंतु वकील का साहब इसका निर्गुण अर्थात समझ गए फिर भी वह सर झुका कर बैठे ही रहे वार्ड लौटकर वकील साहब ने काकासाहेब दीक्षित को बतलाया कि बाबा ने उन्हें जो कुछ उदाहरण दिया और वह मेरी ही और लक्ष्य कर कहा गया था वह सत्य है वह केवल चेतावनी ही थी कि मुझे किसी भी निंदा नहीं करनी चाहिए एक समय जब अप न्यायाधीश श्री नोलकर स्वास्थ्य लाभ करने के लिए पंढर से शिरडी जाकर तारे तो वर रूप में उनके संबंध में चर्चा हो रही थी आज का विषय था कि जिस व्याधि से अप न्यायाधीश स्वस्थ हैं क्या बिना औषधि सेवन किया केवल साइन बाबा के शरण में जाने से ही उसे छुटकारा पाना संभव है और क्या श्री मिलकर सतीश एक शिक्षित व्यक्ति को इस मार्ग का अवलंबन करना उचित है उसे समय श्री मिलकर का और साथ ही साथ साइन बाबा का भी बहुत उपवास किया गया मैं भी इस आलोचना में हाथ बताया था श्री साइन बाबा ने मेरे इस दूषित आचरण का प्रकाश डाला है यह मेरे लिए उपवास नहीं वरन एक उपकार है जो केवल उपदेश है कि मुझे किसी की निंदा ना करनी चाहिए और ना ही दूसरों के कार्य में विभिन्न डालना चाहिए शिर्डी और पंढरपुर में लगभग 300 मिल का अंतर है फिर भी बाबा ने अपने सर्वत्र द्वारा ज्ञान लिया की बार रूम में क्या चल रहा था मार्ग में आने वाली नदियां जंगल लव पहाड़ उसकी सर्वत के लिए अरोड़ा ना डालें वह सबके हाथ की वह बात जान लेते और उसे कुछ छिपाना था समिति स्थित या दोष दूर स्थित प्रत्येक वस्तु उसके लिए दिन के प्रकाश के समान प्रकाश वहां थी तथा उसकी सर्वव्यापक दृष्टि से ओझल में न थी इस घटना में वकील साहब को शिक्षा मिली कि कभी किसी का चित्र अवशोषण एवं निद्रा नहीं करनी चाहिए यह कथा केवल वकील साहब के लिए ही नहीं वरुण सब के लिए शिक्षाप्रद है श्री साइन बाबा की महानता को कोई ना समझ सका और ना ही उसकी अद्भुत लीलाओं का अंत ही पा सका उसकी जीवनी भी अनुरूपी अनुरूपी ही है क्योंकि वह परम ब्रह्म स्वरुप है श्री सद्गुरु साईनाथ को प्रणाम शुभम भवतु

A Muslim saint named Peer Maulana, who was the local judge of the suburb of Bandra for many years, also lived there. Many people of Hindu, Persian and other religions used to go there. His Muzar Priest Madam Pant also tried a lot to meet him, but due to some reason or the other, she could not meet him. After many years, when his auspicious day came, he reached Shirdi and went to Baba's court and joined him permanently. How can a lucky hero get the company of seven saints? Saints appear at different places to fulfil a particular teaching. Even if their place of work is different, but all that is completely the same. They all work in the same line under the operational power of Saurabh Shaktiman Parmeshwar. They have mutual knowledge of every work and also fulfil each other as per the need, which is evident from the following incident. Shri Thakur Shri Thakur was an employee in Ba Rohini department. Once while working with the land measurement team, he reached a village named Vadgaon near Belgaum. There he met a country saint, Papa and bowed down to his feet. He was explaining the meaning of a book named Nischal Daskrit Vichar Sagar, which is about Vedanta, to his devotees. When Shri Thakur started taking leave, he told him that you must meditate on this book and by doing so, your wish will be fulfilled. When he replied in the end, go in the north direction, you will meet a great saint full of good fortune, who will guide you and give peace and happiness to your heart. Later he was transferred to Vyavahar where he had to go by the Nagveda river. The ghat was very deep and difficult to cross, so he had to take a ride on the ghat which seemed very inconvenient and difficult to him. After that he was transferred to a high post in Kalyan and there he was introduced to Nana Saheb Chandolkar. Through him he came to know a lot about Shri Sain Baba and his darshan was very special. The next day itself Nanasaheb was leaving for Shirdi. He requested Shri Thakur to accompany him. Due to his presence being necessary in connection with a case in the civil court of Thakare, he could not go with him. Thus Nana Saheb left alone. On reaching Thakare, the date of the case was extended, so he regretted not accompanying Nana Saheb. Then when he reached 3D, he came to know that Nanasaheb had left from there the previous day. He went to see Sain Baba with some of his friends who he had met there. He saw Baba and was very happy to worship his lotus feet. He was thrilled and tears fell on his eyes. Tears started flowing from his eyes. Trikaldarshi Baba told him that the path of this place is not so smooth as it is steep. The teachings of saints and gods are not there but it was a journey in the same way. You will have to work very hard to walk on the spiritual path because it is a very difficult path. When Shri Thakur heard the word 'Apna Ganit', whose meaning was known to no one except him, then his joy vanished. He remembered the words of difficult saints. Then he folded his hands and placed his head on Baba's feet and prayed that Lord, have mercy on me and give this orphan a place in the cool shade of your lotus feet. Then Baba said that whatever Aapda has said was true. You should behave according to it. Sitting idle will not be of any benefit. Whatever you do, bring it into practice otherwise what is the use of it. Without Guru's grace, book reading and soul realization are useless. Shri Thakur had till now read only the Vichar Sagar book 'Swasthya Devi Prakaran', but he came to know about its practical system in Shirdi only. Another story is also a more eternal inspirational proof of this truth. Shri Anant Rao Patkar, a gentleman from Pune. Sain was desirous of seeing Baba; he came and saw Baba, his eyes got soothed by the seeing and he was very happy, he touched Baba's feet and after worshipping as per yoga, he said, I have read a lot, studied Vedas, Vedanta and Upanishads also, and listened to other Puranas, still I could not get peace, therefore my Pathan remained in vain, an ignorant devotee is far superior to me, till the mind does not get peace, reading scriptures is useless, I have heard that you easily provide peace to the mind of others just by your creation and through humorous words, on hearing this I have also come here, please bless me, your slave also, then do not become a hair, the following statement should not be said on the lead of the mareAnd the nine types of devotion, once a merchant came here, he put a thread on a mare, the curious merchant, leaving a piece of his dhoti, thought about it and put nine threads in it and thus peace was given to the lord. Shri Patkar could not understand anything of this statement, so he prayed to Shri Ganesh Damodardo Naam Dada Khelkar to understand its meaning and asked what Baba meant to say. He said that whatever Baba says, even I myself cannot understand it well, but whatever I can understand with his inspiration, I am telling you that the mare is God's grace and 9 together, say na vidhi bhakti yatha shravan kirtan naamkaran padsen achraj vandan taskar aatm nibandhan these are the nine types of devotion, if even one of these is put into practice with truth, then Lord Shri Hari will be very pleased and the house of devotion will progress. All the sadhanas, that is, until there is no understanding of devotion in yoga practice and reading of Vedas, it is absolutely his, the kirtan of a Veda Gyani or Brahma Gyani is useless in the absence of devotional feeling, it is necessary that So, only a complete devotee should know himself like a merchant and search for the truth with eagerness and excellence and attain a new type of devotion. Only then will you find peace and get mental peace. Next day when Shri Pathak went to pay obeisance to Baba, Baba asked him whether he had collected the names of the leaders. He said that I am independent. Without your grace, it is not possible to collect them easily. Baba blessed him and showed him a child. May you get happiness and peace. On hearing this, there would be no end to the joy of Baba after doing the Shri Paath. We will end this chapter by narrating a small story of Baba's Trikaal knowledge about removing the friends of the lawyer devotees of Pandharpur and putting them on the right position. Once a lawyer from Pandharpur came to Shirdi. He had darshan of Baba and bowed to him. Then, after giving some dakshina, he sat in a corner and started narrating the conversation. Baba, looking at him, started narrating the story that how many people are ghosts who come here and fall at Baba's feet and give dakshina but keep abusing behind the back. How surprising is it, isn't it? This sat right on the head of the hypocrite lawyer and he did not recognize the meaning of these words. I could not understand but the lawyer sahab understood its meaningless meaning but still he kept sitting with his head bowed. Returning to the ward, the lawyer sahab told Kakasaheb Dixit that whatever example Baba gave him and that was said targeting me is true, it was only a warning that I should not criticize anyone. Once when the criminal judge Mr. Nolkar went to Shirdi from Pandhar to get well, there was a discussion about him. The topic of today was that is it possible to get rid of the disease from which the criminal judge is healthy without taking medicine, only by going to Sain Baba and is it right for an educated person to adopt this path, Shri Milakar Satish, at that time, a lot of fasting was done for Shri Milakar as well as Sain Baba, I also had a hand in this criticism, Shri Sain Baba has thrown light on my corrupt conduct, this is not a fast for me but a favor which is only an advice that I should not criticize anyone nor should I interfere in the work of others, there is a distance of about 300 miles between Shirdi and Pandharpur. Still Baba gained knowledge through his omnipresent vision that what was going on in the bar room, the rivers, forests, mountains and jungles on the way, did not cast an Aurora for his welfare, he came to know that thing from everyone and he had to hide anything, whether situated in the center or far away, every object was as bright as daylight for him and was not hidden from his omnipresent vision. In this incident the lawyer sahab learnt that one should never absorb anyone's image or sleep. This story is instructive not only for the lawyer sahab but for everyone. No one could understand the greatness of Shri Sain Baba, nor could they find the end of his wonderful miracles, his biography is also similar to the one because he is the form of the supreme Brahma.
