चिड़ियों का शिरडी को खींच जाना लक्ष्मी चंद बुरहानपुर की महिला मेघा का निर्माण प्रकाश कथन श्री साइन अनंत है हुए एक चींटी से लेकर ब्रह्मांड प्रो पर्यटन सर्व भूतों में व्याप्त है वेद और आत्म विज्ञान में पूर्ण पारंगत होने के कारण हुए सद्गुरु कहलन के सर्वथा योग्य है चाहे कोई कितना ही विद्यमान क्यों ना हो परंतु यदि वह अपने शिष्य की जागृति कर उसे आत्म स्वरूप का दर्शन ना कर सका तो उसे सद्गुरु के नाम से कम पी संबोधित नहीं किया जा सकता साधारणता पिता केवल इस नश्वर शरीर का ही जन्मदाता है परंतु सद्गुरु तो जन्म और मृत्यु दोनों से ही मुक्ति कर देने वाले हैं अतः हुए अन्य लोगों से अधिक दयावंत है श्री साइन बाबा हमेशा कहा करते थे कि मेरा भक्त चाहे 1000 कोर्स की दूरी पर ही क्यों ना हो वह शिर्डी को ऐसा खिंचा चला आता है जैसे धागे में बंधे हुए चिड़िया खींचकर स्वयं ही आ जाते हैं इस अध्याय में ऐसा ही तीन चिड़ियों की वर्णन है पहले लाला लक्ष्मी चंद यह महा अनुभवी मुंबई के श्री वेंकटेश्वर प्रेस में नौकरी करते थे वहां से नौकरी छोड़कर वह रेलवे विभाग में आए और फिर वह विमर्श रैली ब्रदर एंड कंपनी में मुंशीर का कार्य करने लगे उनका सन 1910 में श्री साइन बाबा से संपर्क हुआ बड़े दिन क्रिसमस से लगभग एक या दो मास पहले सांता क्रूज़ में उन्हें स्वप्न में एक दाढ़ी वाले वृत्त को दिखा जो चारों ओर से भक्तों से घिरा हुआ खड़ा था कुछ दिनों के पश्चात हुए अपने मित्र श्री दाता तेरे मंजूनाथ बिजुर के यहां दास गन का कीर्तन सुनने आए दास अच्छा का यह नियम था कि वह कीर्तन करते समय श्रोताओं के सम्मुख श्री साइन बाबा का चित्र रख लिया करते थे लक्ष्मी चंद को या चित्र देखकर महान आश्चर्य हुआ क्योंकि स्वप्न में उन्हें जी वृद्धि के दर्शन हुए थे उसकी आकृति भी ठीक इस चित्र के अनुरूप ही थी इस वह इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे कि स्वप्न में दर्शन देने वाले स्वयं श्री के श्री साइन नाथ समर्थ के अतिरिक्त और कोई नहीं है चित्र दर्शन दसगरों का मधुर कीर्तन और उसके संत तुकाराम पर प्रवचन आदि का कुछ ऐसा प्रभाव उन पर पड़ा कि उन्होंने शिरडी यात्रा का दिन संकल्प कर लिया भक्तों को चिरकाल से ही ऐसा अनुभव होता आया कि जो सद्गुरु या अन्य किसी आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान की खोज में निकलता है उसकी ईश्वर सदैव ही सहायता करती है इस रात्रि को लगभग 8:00 बजे उनके एक मित्र शंकर राव ने उनके द्वार खटखटाया और पूछा कि क्या हमारे साथ शिरडी चलने को तैयार हैं लक्ष्मी चंद की हर्ष का पर वार न रह और उन्होंने तुरंत ही शिरडी चलने के नीचे कर लिया एक मारवाड़ी निश्चित ₹15 उधार लेकर तथा अन्य आवश्यक प्रबंध कर उन्होंने शिर्डी को प्रस्थान कर दिया रेलगाड़ी में उन्होंने अपने मित्र के साथ कुछ देर भजन भी किया उसे उसी डिब्बे में चार या आनंद यात्री भी बैठे थे जो शिर्डी के समीप ही अपने-अपने घरों को लौट रहे थे लक्ष्मी चंद ने उन लोगों से श्री साइन बाबा के संबंध में कुछ पूछताछ की सब लोग ने उन्हें बताया श्री साइन बाबा शिर्डी में अनेक वर्षों से निवास कर रहे हैं और वह एक पहुंचे हुए संत हैं जब वह कोपरगांव पहुंचे तो बाबा को भेंट देने के लिए कुछ अमरुद खरीदे कर उन्होंने विचार किया हुए वहां के प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य माय दृश्य देखने में कुछ ऐसे तकलीफ हुई कि उन्होंने अमरुद लेने की सुधि ही मान रही परंतु जब वह शिर्डी के समीप आए तो याकूब उन्हें अमरुद खरीदने की अमित को आए इसी बीच उन्होंने देखा कि एक वृद्ध टोकरी में अमरूद लेने टांगे के पीछे-पीछे दौड़ते चले आ रहे हैं यह देख उन्होंने तांगा रुकवाया और उनमें से कुछ बढ़िया अमित खरीद लिए तब वह वृद्ध उनसे कहने वालों की कृपा कर यह सब से सम्रद भी मेरी ओर से बाबा को भेंट कर देना यह सुनकर अच्छा नहीं उन्हें विचार को आया कि मैं अमरुद खरीदने की जो इच्छा पहले की थी और जिसे मैं भूल गया था उसी की यह वृद्धि ने पुनः स्मृति कर दी श्री साइन बाबा के प्रति उसकी भक्ति देख हुए दोनों बड़े आप चकित हुए लक्ष्मी चंद ने यह सोचकर कि हो सकता है कि स्वप्न में जी वृद्धि के दर्शन महीने किए थे उनकी ही यह कोई रिश्तेदार हो वह आगे बढ़े शिर्डी के समीप पहुंचने पर उन्होंने दूर से ही मस्जिद में बहार आई ध्वज दिखाई दी जिन्हें देख प्रणाम कर अपने हाथ में पूजन सामग्री लेकर हुए मस्जिद पहुंचे और बाबा का यथा विधि पूजन करवे द्रवित हो गए उसके दर्शन कार वे अत्यंत आनंदित हुए तथा उनके शीतल चरणों से ऐसे लिप जैसे एक मधुमक्खी कमल के मार्ग रद्द की सुगंध से सुगंधित हो कर उसने लिपट जाती है तब बाबा ने उसने जो कुछ कहा उसका वर्णन हेमा दत्त पंत ने अपने मूल ग्रंथ में इस प्रकार किया है साले रास्ते में भजन करते और दूसरे आदमी से पूछते दूसरे से क्या पूछना सब कुछ अपने आंखों से देखना कहीं को दूसरे आदमी से पूछना सपना क्या झूठ है यह सच्चा कर लो अपना विचार अपना मारवाड़ी से उधार लेने की क्या जरूरत थी हुई क्या मुरादे पूरी यह शब्द सुनकर उनकी सर्वव्यापिका पर लक्ष्मी चंद को बड़ा संभव हुआ वह बड़े लज्जित हुए की घर से शिरडी तक मार्ग में जो कुछ हुआ उसका उन्होंने सब बात है इसमें विशेष ध्यान देने योग्य बात केवल यही है कि बाबा यह नहीं चाहते कि उनके दर्शन के लिए कार्य लिया जाए या तीर्थ यात्रा में छुट्टी मन मनाएं सांझा उपमा दोपहर के समय जब लक्ष्मी चंद भोजन को बैठे तो उन्हें एक भक्त ने संजय का प्रसाद लाकर दिया जिस प्रकार हुए बड़े प्रसन्न हुए दूसरे दिन हुए शाहजहां की आशा लगाए बैठे रहे परंतु किसी भक्त ने वह प्रसाद ना दिया जिसके लिए हुए अति उत्साहित थे तीसरे दिन दोपहर की आरती पर बापू साहेब जोग ने बाबा से पूछा कि निवेद के लिए क्या बनाया जाए तब बाबा ने उसे समझ लाने को कहा भक्तगण दो बड़े बर्तन में सांझ भरकर ले आए लक्ष्मी चंद को भूख भी अधिक लगी थी साथ ही उनकी पीठ में दर्द भी था बाबा ने लक्ष्मी चंद से कहा हिमालय पंत ने मूल ग्रंथ में इस प्रकार वर्णन किया है तुमको भूख लगे है अच्छा हुआ कमर में दर्द भी है लो आप संजय को ही करो दवा उन्होंने पुणे संभव हुआ कि मेरे मन के समस्त विचारों को उन्होंने जान लिया है वास्तव में सर्व ज्ञानी है कुदृष्टि इसी यात्रा में एक बार उनको चावड़ी का जुलूस देखने कभी सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ उसे दिन बाबा कब से अधिक पीड़ित थे उन्होंने विचार आया कि इसका आपका कारण शायद किसी की नजर लगी हो दूसरे दिन प्रातः कल्या बाबा मस्जिद को गए तो सामान्य करने लगे कि कल जो कुछ काम से पीड़ित पीड़ा हो रही थी उसका मुख्य कारण किसी की को दृष्टि ही है मुझे तो ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि किसी की नजर लग गई है इसलिए यह पीड़ा मुझे हुई है लक्ष्मी चंद के मन मे जो विचार उठ रहे थे वही बाबा ने भी कह दिए बाबा की सर्वज्ञ के अनेक प्रमाण तथा भक्तों के प्रति उसका संदेश देखकर लक्ष्मी चंद बाबा के चरणों पर गिर पड़े और कहने लगे कि आपका प्रियदर्शन से मेरे जीत को बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई मेरा मन मधु आपके चरण कमल और भजनों में लगा रहे आपके अतिरिक्त भी अन्य कोई ईश्वर है इसका मुझे ज्ञान नहीं मुझ पर आप आप सदा दया और स्नेह करें आपके चरणों के दिन दास की रक्षा कर उसका कल्याण करें आपके भव भय भय भयानाशक चरणों का स्मरण करते हुए मेरा जीवन आनंद से व्यतीत हो जाए ऐसे मेरे आपसे विनम्र प्रार्थना है बाबा से आशीर्वाद तथा उड़ी लेकर हुए मित्र के साथ प्रसन्न और संतुष्ट होकर मार्ग में उसकी कीर्ति का गुणगान करते हुए घर वापस लौट आए और सदैव उसके अन्य भक्त बने रहे शिर्डी जाने वाले के हाथ में उनका हर कपूर और दक्षिण भेजा करते थे दूसरा बुरहानपुर की महिला अब हमारी दूसरी चिड़िया बाग तक का वर्णन करेंगे एक दिन बुरहानपुर में एक महिला ने स्वप्न में देखा कि श्री साइन बाबा उसके द्वारा पर खड़े भोजन के लिए खिचड़ी मांग रहे हैं उसने उठा कर देखा तो द्वार पर कोई भी ना था फिर भी वह प्रसन्न हुए और उसने यह स्वप्न अपने पति तथा अन्य लोगों को सुनाया उसका पति डाक विभाग में नौकरी करता था वह दोनों ही बड़े धार्मिक थे जब उनका स्थानांतरण अकोला को हुआ तो वह दोनों ने शिरडी जाने का निश्चय किया और एक शुभ दिन उन्होंने शिर्डी को प्रस्थान कर दिया मार्ग में गोमती तीर्थ होकर वह शिरडी पहुंचे और वहां दो माह तक तारे प्रतिदिन हुए मस्जिद जाते और बाबा का पूजन कर आनंद से अपना समय व्यतीत करते थे यद्यपि दंपति खिचड़ी का निवेद भेंट करने को ही गए थे परंतु किसी कारणवश उन्हें 14 दिन तक ऐसा सहयोग प्राप्त न हो सका उसकी स्त्री इस कार्य में अब अधिक विलंब न करना चाहती थी इसलिए जब 15 दिन दोपहर के समय वह खिचड़ी लेकर मस्जिद में पहुंची तो उसने देखा कि बाबा अन्य लोगों के साथ भोजन करने बैठ चुके हैं पर्दा गिर चुका था जिसके पश्चात किसी का साहस न था कि वह भीतर प्रवेश कर सके परंतु वह एक क्षण ही प्रतीक्षा न कर सकी और हाथ से पर्दा हटाकर भीतर चली आई बड़े आश्चर्य की बात थी कि उसने देखा कि बाबा की इच्छा उसे दिन सबसे पहले खिचड़ी खाने की ही थी जिसकी उन्होंने आवश्यकता थी जब वह थाली लेकर भीतर आए तो बाबा को बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ और वह उसी में से खिचड़ी के ग्रास लेकर खाने लगी बाबा की ऐसी उत्सुकता देख प्रत्येक को बड़ा आचार्य हुआ और उन्होंने यह खिचड़ी थी वार्ता सुनाई उन्होंने भक्तों के प्रति बाबा का असाधारण स्नेहा देख बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई मेघा का निवारण अब तृतीय महान पक्षी की चर्चा सुनिए बर्मा गांव का रहने वाला मेघा अत्यंत सीधा और अनपढ़ व्यक्ति था वह राव बहादुर भाभी साठ के यहां रसोईया का काम किया करता था वह शिवजी का परम भक्त था और सदैव पंचाक्षरी मंत्र नमः शिवाय का जाप किया करता था संध्या उपासना आदि का उसे कुछ भी ज्ञान न थ यहां तक की वह संध्या के मूल गायत्री मंत्र को भी न जानता था राव बहादुर साठे का उसे पर अत्यंत स्नेह था इसलिए उन्होंने उन्हें संध्या की विधि तथा गायत्री मंत्र सिखवा दिया साथी साहब ने श्री साइन बाबा को शिवजी का साक्षात अवतार बतलाकर उसे शिरडी भेजने का निश्चय किया किंतु साठे साहब से पूछने पर उन्होंने बताया कि श्री साइन बाबा तो यवन है इसलिए मेघा ने सोचा कि शिर्डी में एक हवन को प्रणाम करना पड़े यह अच्छी बात नहीं है भोला भला आदमी तो हुआ था ही इसलिए उसके मन में असमंजस पैदा हो गया तब उसने अपने स्वामी से प्रार्थना की की कृपा कर मुझे वहां ना भेजें परंतु साठे साहब कहां मानने वाले थे उसके सामने मेघा की एक न चली उन्होंने उसे किसी प्रकार श्री भेज दिया तथा उसके द्वारा उसके ससुर गणेश दामोदरू मां दास केलकर को भी शिर्डी में ही रहते हैं एक पत्र भेजो कि मेघा का परिचय बाबा से कर देना शिरडी पहुंचने पर जब वह मस्जिद में घुसा तो बाबा अत्यंत क्रोधित हो गए और उन्होंने मस्जिद में आने की मनचाही कर दी वह गर्जना कर कहने लगे कि इसे बाहर निकाल दो फिर मेघा की और देखकर कहने लगे कि तुम तो एक उच्च कॉलोनी ब्राह्मण हो और मैं निम्न जाति का एक यवन हूं तुम्हारे जाती भ्रष्ट हो जाएगी इसलिए यहां से बाहर निकल आओ यह शब्द सुनकर मेघा कहां उठी उसे बड़ा बिजनेस हुआ कि जो कुछ उसके मन में विचार उठ रहे थे उन्हें बाबा ने ऐसे जान लिया किसी प्रकार वह कुछ दिन वहां 18 और अपनी इच्छा अनुसार सेवा भी करता रहा परंतु उसकी इच्छा तृप्ति नहीं हुई फिर वह घर लौट आया और वहां से त्रयंबक नासिक जिला को चला गया वर्ष भर के पश्चात पुणे शिरडी आया और इस बार दादा केलकर के कहने से उसे मस्जिद में रहने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ हो गया साइन बाबा मौखिक उपदेश द्वारा मेघा की उत्पत्ति करने के बदले उसका आंतरिक सुधार कर रहे थे उसकी स्थिति में पर्याप्त परिवर्तन होकर यथा चेष्टा प्रगति हो चुकी थी और आप तो वह श्री साइन बाबा को शिव जी का ही साक्षात अवतार समझने लग था शिव पूजन में बिलाव पत्रों की आवश्यकता होती है इसलिए अपने शिवजी बाबा का पूजन करने हेतु बिलाव पत्र की खोज में वह मिलो दूर निकल जाया करता था प्रतिदिन उसने ऐसा नियम बना लिया था कि गांव में जितने भी देवालय थे प्रथम वहां जाकर वह उनका पूजन करता और उसके पश्चात ही वह मस्जिद में बाबा को प्रणाम करता तथा कुछ देर चरण सेवा करने के पश्चात ही चरण अमृत पान करता था एक बार ऐसा हुआ कि खंडोबा के मंदिर द्वारा आर बंद था इस कारण वह बिना पूजा किया ही वहां से लौट आया और वहां जब मस्जिद में आया तो बाबा ने उसकी सेवा स्वीकारना की तथा उसने पुणे जाकर पूजन कर जाने से कहा और उसे बतलाया कि अब मंदिर के द्वारा भूल गए हैं मेवा जाकर देखा कि सचमुच मंदिर के द्वार खुल जाए हैं जब उसने लौट कर लिया था विधि पूजा की तब कहीं बाबा ने उसे अपना पूजन करने की अनुमति दी गंगा स्नान एक बार मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर मेवा ने विचार किया कि बाबा को चंदन का लेप करूं तथा गंगाजल से उसे स्नान करूं बाबा ने पहले तो उसके लिए अपनी शिव की सुकृति नदी परंतु उसकी लगातार प्रार्थना के उपरांत उन्होंने किसी प्रकार स्वीकार कर लिया गोदावरी नदी का पवित्र जल लाने के लिए मेवा को आठ कोष का चक्कर लगाना पड़ा वह जल लेकर लौट आया और दोपहर तक पूर्ण अवस्था कर ली तब उसने बाबा को तैयार होने की सूचना दी बाबा ने पुनः में हुआ से अनुरोध किया मुझे इस झांझर से दूर ही रहने दो मैं तो एक फकीर हूं मुझे गंगाजल क्या प्रयोजन परंतु मेवा को सुनता ही ना था मेवा की यह दिन धरना थी कि शिवजी गंगाजल से अधिक प्रसन्न होते हैं इसलिए ऐसा सुख पर्व पर अपने शिवजी को स्नान करना हमारा परम कर्तव्य है आप तो बाबा को सा मत होना ही पड़ा और नीचे उतरकर हुए एक सीढ़ी पर बैठ गए तथा अपना मस्तक आगे करते हुए कहने वालों की अरे मेवा कम से कम इतनी कृपा तो करना कि केवल मेरे सिर पर ही पानी डालना सर शरीर का प्रधान अंक है और उसे पर पानी डालना ही पूरी शरीर पर पानी डालने से सदृश्य मेवा ने अच्छा-अच्छा कहते हुए बर्तन उठाकर सर पर पानी डालना प्रारंभ किया ऐसा करने से उसे इतनी प्रसन्नता हुई कि उसे उच्च स्वर में हर हर गंगे कहते हुए सचमुच बर्तन का पानी बाबा के सम्मुख शरीर पर उत्तल दिया और फिर पानी का बर्तन एक और रब कर वह बाबा की ओर निहारने लगा उसने देखा कि बाबा का तो केवल सर ही भीगा है और शेष भाग जिओ का क्यों बिल्कुल सूखा ही है यह देख उसे बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ त्रिशूल और पिंड मेवा बाबा को दो स्थान पर स्थान कराया करता था पहले वह बाबा को मस्जिद में स्नान करता और फिर वादे में नाना साहेब चांदोलकर द्वारा प्राप्त उसके बड़े चित्र को इस प्रकार यह कम 12 मार्च तक चलता रहा बाबा ने उसकी भक्ति तथा विश्वास दिन करने के लिए उसे दर्शन दिए एक दिन प्रात काल में हुआ जब अर्ध निंद्रा अवस्था में अपनी सैया पर बैठा हुआ था तभी उसे उसके दर्शन हुए बाबा ने उसे जागृत जानकर और छत पर और कहा कि मेवा मुझे त्रिशूल लगाओ इतना कहकर वह यात्री सो गए उसके शब्द सुनकर उसने उत्सुकता से अपनी आंखें खोली परंतु देखा कि कोई नहीं है केवल अक्षत की वहां वहां बिखरे पड़े हैं तब वह उठकर बाबा के पास आए गया और उन्होंने अपना स्वप्न सुनने के पश्चात उसने उन्हें त्रिशूल लगाने की आज्ञा मांगी बाबा ने कहा कि क्या तुमने मेरे शब्द नहीं सुने कि मुझे त्रिशूल लगाओ वह कोई स्वप्न नहीं वरन मेरी प्रत्येक छा गया थी मेरे शब्द साथियों अर्थ पूर्ण होते हैं थोड़े मोटे नहीं मेवा खाने लगा कि आपने दया कर कर मुझे निद्रा से तो जागृत कर दिया है परंतु सभी द्वारा पूर्वक ही बंद देखकर मैं मूड माटी प्राप्त हो उठा हूं कि वहां स्वप्न तो नहीं देख रहा था बाबा ने आगे कहा कि मुझे प्रवेश करने के लिए किसी के द्वारा आवश्यकता नहीं है ना मेरा कोई रूप ही है और ना ही कोई अंत मैं सदैव सर्व भूतों में व्याप्त हूं जो मुझ पर विश्वास रखकर शत-शत मेरा ही चिंतन करता है उसके सब कार्य में स्वयं ही करता हूं और अंत में उसे श्रेष्ठ गति देता हूं मवा वाले को लौट आया और बाबा के चित्र के समीप ही दीवार पर एक लाल त्रिशूल खींच दिया दूसरे दिन एक रामदासी भक्त पुणे से आया उसे बाबा को प्रणाम कर शंकर की एक दिन भेंट की इस समय में वह भी वहां पहुंचे तब बाबा उसने कहने लग की देखो शंकर भोला आ गए हैं अब उन्हें संभालो मेवा ने पिंड पर त्रिशूल लाकर देखा तो उसे महान विश्व माफ हुआ वह बारे में आकर इस समय काकासाहेब दीक्षित स्नान के पश्चात सर पर तौलिया डाले साइन नाम का जाप कर रहे थे तभी उन्होंने ध्यान से एक पिंड अच्छी जिससे उन्हें कोतवाल सा हो गया था उन्होंने सामने से मेवा को आते देख मेवा ने बाबा द्वारा प्रदत हुआ पिंड काका साहब दीक्षित को दिखाई पी ठीक वैसे ही थी जैसे कि उन्होंने कुछ घड़ी पूर्व ध्यान में देखी थी कुछ दिन में जब त्रिशूल का खींचना पूर्ण हो गया तो बाबा ने बड़े चित्र के पास जिसका मेवाड़ नित्य पूजन करता था ही उसे पिंड की स्थापना कर दी मेवा को शिव पूजन से बड़ प्रेम था टीपू खींचने का अवसर देकर तथा पी की स्थापना कर बाबा ने उनका विश्वास दिन कर दिया इस प्रकार कई वर्ष तक लगातार दोपहर और संध्या को निर्मित आरती तथा पूजन कर सन 1912 में मेवा पर लोकवासी हो गया बाबा ने उसके मृत्यु शरीर पर अपना हाथ फिरते हुए कहा कि यह मेरा सच्चा भगत है फिर बाबा ने अपने ही खर्च से उसकी मृत्यु भोज ब्राह्मण को दिए जाने की आज्ञा दी जिसका पालन काका साहब दीक्षित ने किया श्री सद्गुरु साईनाथ को प्रणाम सुभम हो तो सप्ताह पुराने चतुर विश्राम

Birds being drawn to Shirdi Lakshmi Chand, Burhanpur's lady Megha's creation Prakash statement Shri Sain is infinite, he is present in all beings from an ant to the universe, being fully proficient in Vedas and the science of the soul, he is completely worthy of being called a Sadguru, no matter how great a person is, but if he cannot awaken his disciple and make him see the soul form, then he cannot be addressed as anything less than a Sadguru. Generally, a father is the creator of this mortal body only, but a Sadguru liberates one from both birth and death, hence he is more compassionate than others. Shri Sain Baba always used to say that even if my devotee is at a distance of 1000 kilometers, he is drawn to Shirdi like birds tied to a thread come by pulling themselves. In this chapter, there is a description of three such birds. Earlier, Lala Lakshmi Chand, this highly experienced person used to work in Mumbai's Shri Venkateshwar Press, leaving the job there, he joined the railway department and then he joined Vimarsh Rally Brother and Company. He started working as a Munshir. He came in contact with Shri Sain Baba in 1910. About a month or two before Christmas, he saw a bearded man in a dream in Santa Cruz, who was standing surrounded by devotees from all sides. After a few days, he came to his friend Shri Data Tere Manjunath Bijur's place to listen to Das Gan's Kirtan. It was Das Acha's rule that while doing Kirtan, he used to keep a picture of Shri Sain Baba in front of the audience. Lakshmi Chand was very surprised to see this picture because he had seen a giant in his dream. Its shape was also exactly like the picture. He came to the conclusion that the one who appeared in his dream was none other than Shri Sain Nath Samarth himself. The picture darshan, the sweet kirtan of Dasgars and his discourse on Saint Tukaram etc. had such an impact on him that he resolved to visit Shirdi that day. Devotees have been feeling since ages that God always helps those who go in search of Sadguru or any other spiritual knowledge. That night at about 8:00 pm, one of his friends Shankar Rao knocked at his door and asked if he was ready to go with them to Shirdi. Lakshmi Chand's joy knew no bounds and he immediately decided to go to Shirdi. Borrowing Rs. 15 from a Marwari and making other necessary arrangements, he left for Shirdi. In the train, he did bhajans with his friend for some time. In the same compartment, four Anand Yatris were also sitting who were returning to their homes near Shirdi. Lakshmi Chand asked them about Shri Sain Baba. Everyone told him that Shri Sain Baba had been living in Shirdi for many years and he was an accomplished saint. When he reached Kopargaon, he bought some guavas to offer to Baba. He thought that the natural beauty of the place was so difficult to see that he forgot to buy guavas. But when he came near Shirdi, Yakub came to buy guavas for him. Meanwhile, he saw an old man running behind the carriage to get guavas in a basket. Seeing this, he He stopped the horse carriage and bought some good guavas from them. Then the old man said to him, "Please be kind to them and present this best of all to Baba on my behalf." Hearing this, he thought that I had earlier wished to buy guavas and had forgotten about it. This increase in the same brought back my memory. Seeing his devotion towards Shri Sain Baba, both were very surprised. Lakshmi Chand thought that it is possible that this might be some relative of his who had seen the increase in the size of the guava in his dream. He proceeded further. On reaching near Shirdi, he saw the flag of the mosque from a distance. Seeing it, he bowed down and took the worship material in his hand and reached the mosque and after worshipping Baba as per the prescribed rituals, he was moved. After seeing him, he felt very happy and clung to his cool feet like a bee clings to the lotus after getting scented by the fragrance of the feet of the lotus. Then whatever Baba said to him has been described by Hema Dutt Pant in his original book in this way - "You do bhajans on the way and ask other people, what to ask from others, see everything with your own eyes, ask another person, is the dream a lie?" Make this your thought true, what was the need to borrow it from a Marwari, did your wishes get fulfilled, on hearing these words Lakshmi Chand felt very happy on his omnipresence, he felt very ashamed that he has told everything that happened on the way from home to Shirdi, the only thing worth noting in this is that Baba does not want that any work be taken for his darshan or to take a holiday in the pilgrimage, Sanjha Upma, when Laxmi Chand sat down to have lunch, a devotee brought him Sanjay's prasad, he was very happy, the next day he kept waiting for Shahjahan, but no devotee gave him that prasad for which he was very excited, on the third day at the afternoon aarti, Bapu Saheb Jog asked Baba what should be prepared for the Nived, then Baba asked him to bring it, the devotees brought two large vessels full of Sanjha. Lakshmi Chand was very hungry and he also had pain in his back, Baba said to Lakshmi Chand, Himalaya Pant has described it in the original text in this way, you are feeling hungry, it is good, there is pain in the back also, you can eat Sanjay only.He told me that he knew all the thoughts in my mind. In fact, he has the evil eye. During this very journey, he once got the good fortune to see the procession of Chavadi. That day, Baba was very much in pain. He thought that the reason for this might be someone's evil eye. The next day, when Kalyan Baba went to the mosque, he started to think that the main reason for the pain that I was going through yesterday was someone's evil eye. It seems to me that someone has cast an evil eye on me, that is why I am in this pain. The thoughts that were arising in Laxmi Chand's mind were also expressed by Baba. Seeing many proofs of Baba's omniscience and his message to the devotees, Laxmi Chand fell at Baba's feet and said that I am very happy to see you. My mind is engaged in your lotus feet and bhajans. I do not know that there is any other God besides you. Please always have mercy and love on me. Protect the devotee at your feet and do good to him. May my life pass happily remembering your feet which destroy all worldly fears and horrors. This is my humble request to you. I took blessings from Baba and took Udi for my friend. Happy and satisfied, they returned home singing praises of his fame on the way and remained his devotees forever. They used to send camphor and dakshina to those who went to Shirdi. Second woman from Burhanpur. Now we will describe our second bird till Chidiya Bagh. One day in Burhanpur a woman saw in her dream that Shri Sain Baba was standing at her door asking for Khichdi for food. She looked up and saw that there was no one at the door. Still she became happy and narrated this dream to her husband and others. Her husband used to work in the postal department. Both of them were very religious. When he was transferred to Akola, both of them decided to go to Shirdi and on an auspicious day they left for Shirdi. On the way via Gomti Tirtha they reached Shirdi and stayed there for two months. They went to the mosque daily and worshipped Baba and spent their time happily. Although the couple had gone only to offer Khichdi, but due to some reason they could not get such cooperation for 14 days. His wife did not want to delay this work any longer. So when on the 15th day of the afternoon When she reached the mosque with khichdi, she saw that Baba was already seated for food with other people. The curtain had fallen after which no one had the courage to enter inside. But she could not wait for a moment and removing the curtain with her hand, came inside. It was a matter of great surprise that she saw that Baba wanted to eat khichdi first of the day, which he needed. When she came inside with the plate, Baba was very surprised and she started eating khichdi from it. Seeing such eagerness of Baba, everyone felt very happy and they narrated this khichdi story. They were very happy to see Baba's extraordinary affection towards the devotees. Megha's solution. Now listen to the discussion of the third great bird. Megha, a resident of Burma village, was a very simple and illiterate person. He used to work as a cook at Rao Bahadur Bhabhi Sathe's house. He was a great devotee of Lord Shiva and always used to chant the Panchakshari Mantra Namah Shivaya. He had no knowledge of Sandhya Upasana etc. He did not even know the basic Gayatri Mantra of Sandhya. He had immense affection for her, so he taught her the method of evening prayers and the Gayatri Mantra. Saathi sahab decided to send her to Shirdi by telling her that Shri Sain Baba was the incarnation of Lord Shiva, but on asking Sathe sahab he told that Shri Sain Baba was a Yavana. So Megha thought that it was not a good thing to have to pay obeisance to a havan in Shirdi. He was a simple man, so she was confused. Then she prayed to her master to please not send her there, but Sathe sahab was not going to listen to him. Megha's words did not work before him. He somehow sent her to Shri and through him send a letter to her father-in-law Ganesh Damodaru Maa Das Kelkar who also lives in Shirdi to introduce Megha to Baba. On reaching Shirdi when she entered the mosque, Baba became very angry and he refused to let her enter the mosque. He roared and said to throw her out. Then looking at Megha he said that you are a high caste Brahmin and I am a Yavana of a low caste, your caste will be corrupted. So come out from here, on hearing these words Megha got up. She was very happy that whatever thoughts were arising in her mind, Baba had understood them. Somehow he stayed there for a few days and continued to serve as per his wish but his wish was not fulfilled. Then he returned home and from there went to Trimbak Nasik district. After a year he came to Pune Shirdi and this time on the advice of Dada Kelkar he got the opportunity to stay in the mosque. Sain Baba was reforming Megha internally instead of creating him by verbal preaching. There was a considerable change in his condition and progress had been made as per his efforts and he started considering Shri Sain Baba as the incarnation of Lord Shiva. Bilva leaves are required in the worship of Lord Shiva. Therefore, to worship his Lord Shiva Baba, he used to go miles away in search of Bilva leaves. Every day he had made a rule that he would first go to all the temples in the village and worship them and only after that he would bow to Baba in the mosque and stay there for some time.He used to drink the nectar of the feet only after serving the feet. Once it so happened that the door of Khandoba's temple was closed. Due to this, he returned from there without worshipping. When he came to the mosque, Baba accepted his service and asked him to go to Pune and worship there and told him that now the doors of the temple have been forgotten. Meva went and saw that the doors of the temple were really open. When he returned and did the worship as per the rituals, then Baba gave him permission to worship him. Once on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Meva thought that he should apply sandalwood paste to Baba and bathe him with Ganga water. Baba first refused to offer him water from the river Godavari but after his continuous prayers, he somehow accepted. Meva had to take a round of eight kos to bring the holy water of the Godavari river. He returned with the water and by noon he had attained salvation. Then he informed Baba that he was ready. Baba again requested Meva to stay away from this Jhajhar. I am a fakir, what is the need of Ganga water for me. But Meva did not listen to Meva. That day was a dharna. That Lord Shiva is most pleased with Ganga water, therefore it is our utmost duty to bathe Lord Shiva on such a happy festival. You had to be like Baba and coming down he sat on a step and bending his head forward he said, "Hey Meva, at least do me this much favour that you pour water only on my head. Head is the most important part of the body and pouring water on it is like pouring water on the whole body." Saying ok-ok Meva picked up the vessel and started pouring water on Baba's head. By doing this he felt so pleased that he while saying Har Har Gange in a loud voice actually poured the water of the vessel on Baba's body and then rubbing the vessel again he started looking at Baba. He saw that only Baba's head was wet and the rest of his body was completely dry. He was very surprised to see this. Trishul and Pind Meva used to bathe Baba at two places. First he would bathe Baba in the mosque and then he would bathe his big picture received from Nana Saheb Chandolkar as a promise. In this way this work continued till 12th March. Baba, on appreciating his devotion and faith, used to bathe Baba in the mosque. Baba gave him darshan one day in the morning when he was sitting on his bed in a half sleep state, then he got his darshan. Knowing him to be awake, Baba went up to the roof and said, "Mewa, put a trident on me". Saying this, the traveller went to sleep. Hearing his words, he opened his eyes with curiosity but saw that no one was there, only rice grains were scattered there. Then he got up and went to Baba and after listening to his dream, he asked for his permission to put a trident on him. Baba said, "Did you not hear my words that put a trident on me? That was not a dream but my every word. My words, friends, are full of meaning, not a little thick". Mewa started eating and said, "You have kindly awakened me from my sleep, but seeing everyone closed, I got up and thought that I was not seeing a dream there". Baba further said, "I do not need anyone to enter me, neither do I have any form nor any end. I am always present in all beings. Whoever has faith in me and thinks of me hundred times, I do all his work myself and at the end I give him the best speed. He returned to Mawa wale and drew a red trident on the wall near Baba's picture. The next day a Ramdasi devotee came from Pune. He bowed to Baba and presented him a red trident on the wall. At that time he also reached there. Then Baba started saying, look Shankar Bhola has come, now take care of him. Meva brought the trident to the idol and saw it. He was greatly amused. He came back. At that time Kakasaheb Dixit was chanting the name of Shiva after bathing with a towel on his head. Then he drew a pind in meditation, which made him look like a police officer. Seeing Meva coming from the front, Meva showed the pind given by Baba to Kakasaheb Dixit. It was exactly the same as he had seen in meditation a few hours back. In a few days, when the drawing of the trident was completed, Baba established the pind near the big picture which Mewar used to worship daily. Meva had great love for worshipping Shiva. By giving him the opportunity to draw the pind and establishing the pin, Baba strengthened his confidence. In this way, for many years continuously Baba and After performing the aarti and puja in the evening, he passed away in the year 1912. Baba, while moving his hand on his dying body, said that this is my true devotee. Then Baba ordered that his funeral feast be given to the Brahmin at his own expense, which was followed by Kaka Saheb Dixit.
