पिता पुत्र संवाद का आरंभ जीव की मृत्यु तथा नरक गति का वर्णन

गर्भ में पीड़ा सहन कर माता के उधर में निवास करता है फिर गर्व से बाहर निकलने पर वह किस प्रकार बुद्धि को प्राप्त होता है और मृत्यु काल में किस तरह चैतन्य स्वरूप के द्वारा शरीर से मिलक होता है सभी प्राणी मृत्यु के पश्चात पुण्य और पाप दोनों का फल भोंकते हैं किंतु वह पुण्य और पाप किस प्रकार अपना फल देते हैं यह सारी बातें मुझे बताएं जिससे मेरा सब संडे दूर हो जाए पक्षी बोले महर्षि आपने हम लोगों पर बहुत बड़े प्रश्न का भर रख दिया इसकी कोई तुलना नहीं है महाभारत इस विषय में एक प्राचीन वृतांत सुनिए पूर्व काल में एक परम बुद्धिमान ब्रिंग वास ब्राह्मण थे उनके सुमति नामक एक पुत्र था वह बड़ा ही शांत और जड़ रूप में रहने वाला था उपनयन संस्कार हो जाने के बाद उसे बालक से उसके पिता ने कहा सुमति तुम सभी वेदों को क्रमशः अघुट पाठ पढ़ो गुरु गुरु की सेवा में लगे रहो और भिक्षा के अंत का भोजन किया करो इस प्रकार ब्रह्मचारी की अवधि पूरा करके गृहसास आश्रम में प्रवेश करो और वह उत्तम उत्तम यज्ञों का अनुष्ठान करके अपने मां के अनुसार संतान उत्पन्न करो तदांतर उसी की शरण में लो और वानप्रस्थ के नियमों का पालन करने की पश्चात परिग्रह रहित सर्वे त्यागी सन्यासी हो जाओ ऐसा करने से तुम्हें उसे ब्रह्म की प्राप्ति होगी जहां जाकर तुम शौक से मुक्ति हो जाओगे इस प्रकार अनेकों बार कहने पर भी सुमति जड़ होने के कारण कुछ भी नहीं बोलता थ पिता भी स्नेहवास बारंबार अनेक प्रकार से एक बातें उसके सामने रखते थे उन्होंने पुत्र प्रेम की कारण मीठी वाणी में अनेक बार उसे लोग दिखलाया इस प्रकार उसके बार-बार कहने पर एक दिन सुमति ने हंसकर कहा पिताजी आज आप जो उपदेश दे रहे हो उनका मैं बहुत बार अभ्यास किया है इस प्रकार दूसरे दूसरे शास्त्र भाटी भांति की शिल्प कलाओं का भी सेवन किया है इस समय मुझे अपने 10000 से भी अधिक जन्म स्मरण हो आए हैं खेत संतोष चाय वृत्त और उदय का भी मैं बहुत अनुभव किया है शत्रु मित्र और पत्नी के सहयोग वियोग भी मुझे देखने को मिले हैं अनेक प्रकार के माता-पिता के भी दर्शन हुए हैं मैंने हजार बार सुख और दुख हो गए हैं कितने ही स्त्रियों के विस्तार और मूत्र से भरे हुए गर्भ में निवास किया है शास्त्रों प्रकार के रोगों की भयानक पीड़ा आसन की है गर्भावस्था में मैंने जो अनेकों प्रकार के दुख हो गए हैं बचपन जवानी और बुढ़ापे में भी जो क्लेश सहन किया है वह सब मुझे याद आ रहे हैं ब्राह्मण क्षत्रिय वैश्य और सूत्रों की योनियों में फिर पशु मृग गीत और पक्षियों की योनियों में तथा ऋषियों को एवं युद्ध में पराक्रम दिखलाने वाले राजाओं के घरों में भी मेरे कई बार जन्म हो चुके हैं इसी तरह आपकी बार आपके घर में भी मैंने जन्म लिया है मैं बहुत बार मनुष्यों को अमृत दशा स्वामी ईश्वर और दरिद्र रह चुका है दूसरों ने मुझे और मैं दूसरों को अनेक बार दान दिया है पिता माता अमित भाई और स्त्री इत्यादि के कारण कई बार संतुष्ट हुआ है और कई बार दिन होकर रोते हुए भी मुझे आंसुओं से मुझे धोना पड़ा है पिताजी यूं ही इस संसार चक्र में भटकते हुए मैं अब वह ज्ञान प्राप्त किया है जो मोक्ष की प्राप्ति करने वाला है उसे ज्ञान को प्राप्त कर लेने पर अब यह इच्छुक याचूक और शाम वेदों तक समस्त क्रियाकलाप मोड शून्य दिखाई देने के कारण मुझे अच्छा नहीं लगा अतः जब ज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया तब वेदों ने मुझे किया प्रयोजन है आप तो मैं गुरु विज्ञान से परितरिप्ट निर्वाह एवं सादात्मा हुआ अतः छह प्रकार के भाव विकार जन्म सत्ता बुड्ढी परिणाम चाय और नस दुःख सुख कर रहा तथा संपूर्ण गुना से वर्जित उसे परम पद स्वरूप ब्रह्मा को प्राप्त हो जाऊंगा पिताजी जो राज हर्ष भाई उदय क्रोध आशाएं और वृद्ध अवस्था से विकास है तथा कुत्ते मेरी आदि की योनि में मानने वाल सैकड़ो बंधनों से युक्त है उसे दुख की परंपरा का परित्याग करके अब मैं चला जाऊंगा पुत्री की यह बात सुनकर महाभारत पिता का हृदय प्रसन्नता से भर गया उन्होंने हर्ष और बिश्नोई से ग्रहणी ने अपने पुत्र से कहा बेटा तुम ही यह क्या कहते हो तुम्हें कहां से ज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया पहले तुम जनता क्यों नहीं थी और इस समय ज्ञान कहां से उठा यह क्या मुनियों तथा देवताओं के लिए दिए हुए शराब का विकार था इसे पहले तुम्हारा ज्ञान छप गया था और इस समय पुन प्रकट हो गया माया सारा रहस्य सुनना चाहत हूं इसके लिए मेरे मन में बड़ा कोतवाल है बेटा तुम पर पहले जो कुछ बीत चुका है वह सब मुझे बताओ पुत्र ने कहा पिताजी मेरा जो यह सुख और दुख देखने वाला पूर्व वृतांत उसे सुने इस जन्म में पहले पूर्व जन्म में जो कुछ था वह सब बताया पूर्व काल में मैं परमात्मा के ध्यान में मांग मन लगाने वाला एक ब्राह्मण था आत्मा विद्या की विचार में पराकाष्ठा को पहुंचा हुआ था मैं सदा योग साधना में संलग्न रहता था निरंतर अभ्यास से लगे सत्पुरुषों का सर करने अपने आइसो भाव से ही विचार पारायण होने तक मास आदि महा वाक्यों के विचारने और तक पदार्थ के शोध करने आदि के कारण उसे परमात्मा तत्व में ही भारी परम प्रति हो गई फिर मैं शिष्यों के स्नेह का निवारण करने वाला आचार्य बन गया फिर बहुत समय की पश्चात एकांत्रिक सेवा हो गई किंतु व्यक्तियों का ज्ञान से सूरदास हो जाने के कारण प्रमाण पढ़कर मेरी मृत्यु हो गई डैड मृत्यु काल से लेकर अब तक मेरी स्मरण शक्ति का लोक नहीं हुआ मेरे जन्मों के जितने वर्ष बीत गए उन सब की मृत्यु हो गई पिताजी उसे पूर्व जन्म के अभ्यास में से जितेंद्र होकर आप फिर मैं वैसा ही यात्रा करूंगा जिससे भविष्य में फिर मेरा जन्म ना हो मैंने जो दूसरों को ज्ञान दिया था उसी का यह फल है कि मुझे पूर्व जन्म की बातों का स्मरण हो रहा है केवल प्रिया धार्मिक कर्मकांड का सहारा लेने मनुष्य की इसकी प्राप्ति नहीं होती अतः मैं इस प्रथम आश्रम से ही सन्यास धर्म का आश्रय ले एकांत से भी हो आत्मा के उद्धार के लिए यात्रा करूंगा अतः मा भाग आपका हृदय में जो संयम है उसे करिए मैं उसका समाधान करूंगा इतनी सी सेवाओं में आपकी प्रसन्नता का समपदन करके मैं पिता के रन से मुक्त हो सकूंगा पक्षी रहते हैं तब पुत्र की बात पर श्रद्धा करते हुए पिता ने उसने वही बात पूछी जो आपने अभी शराब में जन्म ग्रहण करने के संबंध में हम लोगों से पूछी है पुत्र ने कहा पिताजी जिस प्रकार मैंने तत्व का बारंबार अनुभव किया है उसे बतलाता हूं सुनिए या क्षण भर संसार चक्र प्रवाह रूप में से हजार है निरंतर चलते रहने वाला कभी स्थिर नहीं रहता लात आपकी आज्ञा से मैं मृत्यु काल से लेकर अब तक की सब बातों का वर्णन करता हूं शरीर में जो गर्मी या पित्त है वह तीव्र वायु से प्रेरित होकर तब अत्यंत कुपित हो जाता उसे समय बिना ईंधन के ही उदित हुए अग्नि की बात बढ़कर मर्म स्थान को जीने कर देता तत्पश्चात उड़ान नमक वायु ऊपर की ओर उठाता और खाने पिए हुए अतरजलों को नीचे की ओर जाने से रोक देता उषा पट्टी की अवस्था में भी उसी को प्रसन्नता रहती जिसने पहले जलात्र एवं रस का दान किया है जिस पुरुष ने श्रद्धा से पवित्र किए हुए अंत करण के द्वारा पहले अंतर्दन किया हुआ उसे रूप वाणी अवस्था में अंतर के बिना ही तृप्ति लाभ करता जिससे कभी मिथ्या भाषण नहीं किया जो प्रेमियों के पारंपरिक प्रेम में बंधा नहीं डाली तथा जो अस्तित्व और श्रद्धा आलू है वह सुप्रभात मृत्यु को प्राप्त होता है जो देवता और ब्राह्मणों की पूजा में संलग्न रहते किसी की निंदा नहीं करते तथा सात्विक उधर और लज्जा सेल होते हैं ऐसे मनुष्यों को मृत्यु के समय कष्ट नहीं होता जो कामनाओं से क्रोध से अथवा द्वेष के कारण धर्म का त्याग नहीं करता शास्त्रों उपरोक्त आज्ञा क पालन करने वाला तथा सौभाग्य होता है उसकी मृत्यु भी सुख से होती है जिन्होंने कभी जलकर दान नहीं किया उसे मनुष्यों को मृत्यु का अनुपस्थित होने पर भी अधिक ज्वलन होती है तथा अंतर दान न करने वालों को उसे समय भूख का भारी कष्ट भोगना पड़ता है जो लोग जेड के दिनों मे लकड़ी दान करते हैं वह सीट के कास्ट को जीत लेते हैं जो चंदन दान करते हैं हुए ताप पर विजय पाते हैं तथा जो किसी भी जीव को देख नहीं पहुंचते और मृत्यु काल में प्राण घाटी विधान का अनुभव नहीं करते मोक्ष और अज्ञान फैलाने वाले लोग महान भाई को प्राप्त होते हैं प्लीज मनुष्य तीव्र देवताओं विघ्नों से पीड़ित होते हैं रहते हैं जो झूठी गवाही देते हैं झूठ बोलते हैं बुरी बातों का उपदेश देते हैं और वेदों की निंदा करते हैं वह सब लोग मुरझा ग्रस्त होकर मृत्यु को प्राप्त होते हैं ऐसे लोगों की मृत्यु के समय की हमराज के दृष्टि दोष हाथों में हथौड़ी एवं मजदूर लिए आते हैं हुए बड़े भंडार होते हैं और उनकी देह से दुग्ध निकलती रहती है उसे यमदूतों पर दृष्टि पढ़ते ही मनुष्य कहां पड़ता है और भरता माता तथा पुत्रों का नाम लेकर बारंबार चिल्लाने लगता है उसे समय उसकी वाणी स्पष्ट समझ में नहीं आती एक ही शब्द एक ही आवाज से ध्यान पड़ती है भाई के मारे रोगी की आंखें घूमने लगती है और उसका मुख सूख जाता है उसकी सांस ऊपर की ओर उठने लगती है दृष्टि की शक्ति भी नष्ट हो जाती है फिर वह अत्यंत विधान से पीड़ा होकर उसे शरीर को छोड़ देता है और वायु के सहारे चलता हुआ वैसे ही दूसरे शरीर को धारण कर लेता है जो रूप रंग और अवस्था में पहले शरीर के समान ही होता है वह शरीर माता-पिता के गर्व से उत्पन्न नहीं कर्म जनित होता है और यतन भोगने के लिए ही मिलता है तदनंतर यमराज के दूध शीघ्र ही उसे दारू पसारों से बांध लेते हैं और डंडों की मार से बिल्कुल व्याकुल करते हुए दक्षिण दक्षिण दिशा की ओर खींच ले जाते हैं उसे मार्ग पर कहीं तो कुछ जमे हुए होते हैं कहीं कांटे पहले होते हैं कहीं भाटी की मिट्टी जमीन होती है कहीं लोहे की किले घड़ी होती है और कहीं पथरीले भूमि होने के कारण वह पत्र अत्यंत कठोर ध्यान पड़ता है कहीं जलती हुई आज की लिप्त मिलती है तो कहीं सैकड़ो गधों के कारण वह मार्ग अत्यंत दुर्गम प्रतीत होता है कहीं सूर्य इतने तपते हैं कि उसमें र से जाने वाला जीवन के करने से जलने लगता है ऐसे पद से यमराज के दूध उसके गीत सेट कर ले जाते हैं वह दूध घर शब्द करने के कारण अध्ययन भरण ध्यान पढ़ते हैं जिस समय हुए जीवन को घसीट कर ले जाते हैं सैकड़ो गीत चिड़िया जट कर उसके शरीर को नोच नोच कर खाने लगती है पापी जीव ऐसे ही भयंकर मार्ग से यमलोक की यात्रा करते हैं जो मनुष्य छाता जूता वस्त्र और अनुदान करने वाले होते हैं वह विश्व मार्ग में सुख से यात्रा करते हैं इस प्रकार अनेक प्रकार का कष्ट भोक्ता हुआ पाप पीड़ित जीव विनाश होकर 12 दिनों मे धर्मराज के नगर तक पहुंच जात उसके यातना में शरीर के जलने जाने पर जीव स्वयं भी अत्यंत डा का अनुभव करता है उसी प्रकार मार और काटे जाने पर भी उसे अत्यंत भयंकर वेदना होती है अधिक देव देर तक जल में भिगो जाने के कारण भी जीवो कोई भारी दुख उठाना पड़ता है इस प्रकार दूसरे शरीर को प्राप्त होने पर भी उसे अपने कर्मों के फल स्वरुप कष्ट भोगने पड़ते हैं उसके भाई बंधु जो तिल और जल की अंजलि देते तथा पिंडदान करते हैं वही उसे मार्ग पर जाते समय उसे खाने को मिलता है भाई बंधु आदि और सोच के भीतर तेल लगाएं और ऊपर माल वाले तो उसी के जीव का पोषण किया करता है अर्थात वह मिल ही है खानी पड़ती है आता है यह वस्तु वर्जित है इस कारण बंद हुआ घर जो कुछ खाते पीते हैं वह अमृतके जीव को मिलता है अतः उन्हें भोजन की शुद्धि पर भी ध्यान रखना चाहिए यदि भाई बंधु भूमि पर स्वयं करें तो उसे जीवन की कष्ट नहीं होता और यदि वह उसके निमित्त दान करें तो उसके अमृत जीव को बड़ी तृप्त होती है यह हम दूध जब उसे साथ लेकर जाते हैं तो वह 12 दोनों तक अपने घर की ओर देखता रहत है उसे समय पृथ्वी पर उसके निमित्त जो जल और पिंड दिन दिए जाते हैं उन्हीं का वह उपभोग करता है मृत्यु से 12 दिन बीतने के पक्ष एवं पूरी की ओर खींच कर ले जाया जाने वाला जीव अपने सामने यमराज के नगर को देखा है जो बड़ा ही भयानक है उसे नगर में पहुंचने वाले उसे मृत्यु काल और अंतकाल आदि के बीच में बैठे हुए यमराज का दर्शन होता है जो काजल राशि के समान कल और अत्यंत क्रुद्ध से लाल-लाल आंखें किए रहते हैं दर्दों के कारण उनका मुंह बड़ा विकराल दिखाई पड़ता है टेढ़ी भाव से युक्त उसकी आकृति बड़ी भयंकर है वह कुरूप भीषण और टेढ़े-मेढ़े से करो रोगों से घिरे रहते हैं उनकी भुजाएं विशाल है उनके एक हाथ में यमदान और दूसरे में पास देखने में हुए बड़े भयानक प्रतीत होते हैं पापी जीव गुण होने की बताई हुई शुभ अशुभ गति को प्राप्त होता है झूठी गवाही देने और झूठ बोलने वाले मनुष्य राव नरक में जाता है अब मैं राव का स्वरूप बतलाता हूं आप ध्यान देकर उन्हें सुन रो नरक की लंबी चौड़ी 2000 योजना की है वह एक घड़े के रूप में जिसकी गहराई घुटने तक की है वह नरक अत्यंत दुरुस्त है उसमें भूमि के बारंबार अदा राशि बिछाई रहती है उसके भीतर की भूमि तख्ती हुई पहाड़ाओं से बहुत तापी होती है सर नरक तीव्र व्यक्ति प्रचलित होता रहता है उसी के भीतर यमराज के दूध पापी मनुष्य को डाल देते हैं वह धड़कते हुई आग में जब जलने लगता है तो इधर-उधर दौड़ता है किंतु पक पक पर उसे पर जल उनका रख होता है वह दिन रात में कभी एक बार पैर उठाने और रखने में समर्थ होता है इस प्रकार शास्त्रों जोजन पर करने पर वह उसे छुटकारा पता है फिर दूसरे पापों की शुद्धि के लिए उसे वैसे ही अन्य नार्को में जाना पड़ता है इस प्रकार सब नार्को में यातना भोग निकालने के बाद पापी जीव तीर्थ योनि में जन्म लेता है क्रमशः कीड़े मकोड़े पत्र हिंसक जीव मच्छर हाथी वृक्ष हाथी गांव आसरा एवं अन्य दुखदाई पाप योनियों में जन्म धारण करने के पक्ष और मनुष्य योनि में आता है उसमें भी वह कुरूप कुबेरनाथ और चांडाल आदि होता है फिर अवशिष्ट पाप और पुण्य से युक्त हो वह कर्मचारी चढ़ने वाले योनियों में जन्म लेता है शूद्र वैश्य छतरी ब्राह्मण देवता तथा इंद्र आदि से रूप में उत्पन्न होता है इस प्रकार पाप करने वाले जीव नरक को में नीचे गिरते हैं आप पूर्ण आत्मा जीव जिस प्रकार यात्रा करते हैं उसे सुनिए वह पूर्ण आत्मा मनुष्य धर्मराज की बताई हुई पुणे में गति को प्राप्त होते हैं उनके साथ गंधर्व गीत गाते चलते हैं अप्सराय नृत्य करते रहते हैं तथा वह भक्ति भक्ति के दिव्या आभूषणों से सुशोभित होकर सुंदर विमान पर बैठकर यात्रा करते हैं वहां से पृथ्वी पर आने वाले राजाओं तथा अन्य महात्माओं के कुल में जन्म लेते हैं और सदाचार का पालन करते हैं वहां उन्हें श्रेष्ठ योग भोग प्राप्त होते हैं तदुपरांत शरीर त्याग के बाद हुए पुणे स्वर्ग आदि ऊपर के लोक में जाते हैं ऊपर के लोक में होने वाली गति को आरोही कहते हैं फिर वहां से पूर्ण भोग के पश्चात जो मृत्यु लोक में उतरना होता है वह आरोहणी गाती है इस आरुणि गति को प्राप्त होने पर मनुष्य फिर पहले की भांति आरुणि गति को प्राप्त होते हैं ब्रह्मा से जीव की जिस प्रकार मृत्यु होती है वह सब परेशान मैने आपसे कहा सुनाया आप जिस तरह जीव गर्भ में आता है वह विषय का वर्णन सुनिए

I have been born many times in the wombs of Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Sutras. Then in the wombs of animals, deer, songs and birds. I have also been born to sages and kings who displayed prowess in war. Similarly, I have been born in your house many times. I have been a man of immortality, a lord of God and a beggar. Others have given donations to me and I to others many times. I have been satisfied many times because of my father, mother, brother, wife etc. and many times, even while crying for days, I have had to wash them with tears. Father, while wandering in this cycle of the world, I have now attained the knowledge that leads to salvation. After attaining that knowledge, all activities up to the Vedas seem to be void. I did not like it because of giving it away, so when I got the knowledge then the Vedas told me the purpose of you, I am a Guru, I have become a pure soul by the knowledge of Guru, therefore I am suffering from six types of emotions, disorders, birth, existence, old age, result, tea and nerves, sorrow and happiness and I am free from all the qualities, I will attain the supreme position of Brahma, father, who is the king, joy, brother, rise, anger, hopes and development from old age and is full of hundreds of bonds of believing in the womb of dog, my etc., abandoning the tradition of sorrow, I will now go away. He is born in the Tirtha Yoni respectively in the form of insects, leaves, violent creatures, mosquitoes, elephants, trees, villages, shelters and other painful sinful Yonis. And in that too, he is ugly, Kubernath, Chandal etc. Then, filled with residual sins and virtues, he is born in the Yonis of the employee class. He is born in the form of Shudra, Vaishya, Chhatri, Brahmin, God and Indra etc. In this way, the sinful souls fall down into hell. You can understand the way in which the complete soul soul travels.
