रेवत मनु की उत्पत्ति और उसके मन्वंत्रण का वर्णन

मारकंडे जी कहते हैं ब्राह्मण पांचवें मनु का नाम रेवत था उसकी उत्पत्ति का वर्णन करता हूं सुनो पूर्व काल में स्त्रावक नाम से प्रसिद्ध एक महर्षि थे उसके बहुत समय तक कोई पुत्र नहीं हुआ दीर्घकाल के पश्चात हुआ भी तो रेवती नक्षत्र के अंतिम चरण में उनका जन्म हुआ उन्होंने बालक के जाट कर्म आदि संस्कार विधि पूर्वक संपन्न की उपनयन आदि भी कराई किंतु वह सुशील ना हो सका जब से उसका जन्म हुआ तभी से वह महर्षि भी दीर्घ कालव्यापी रोक से ग्रस्त हो गए उसकी माता भी कोड आदि से पीड़ित हो बहुत दुःख उठाने लगी बालक के पिता अत्यंत दुखी होकर सोचने लगे या कैसा अनर्थ प्राप्त हुआ उधर उसे दुष्ट बुद्धि वाले पुत्र ने दूसरे मनु कुमारी की स्त्री का अपहरण कर लिया इससे खिंचित होकर इस्रावक ने कहा मनुष्य का बिना पुत्र के रहना अच्छा है किंतु को पुत्र का होना कदापि उत्तम नहीं है कुपुत्र तो पिता माता के हृदय को सदा ही सफलता रहता है और वह स्वर्ग में गए हुए पितरों को भी नरक में गिरा देता है वह तो केवल माता-पिता को दुख देने के लिए ही होता है उसका बाद आत्मा पुत्र के जन्म को अधिकार है जिनके पुत्र सब लोगों के प्रिया परोपकारी शांत तथा उत्तम कर्मों से लगे लगे रहने वाले होते हैं वह ही धन्य है मूछ इस जन्म में को पुत्र के कारण सुख नहीं मिला और परलोक से विमुख होना पड़ा कुपुत्र का आश्रय लेने वाला मेरा या आदम-जन्म केवल नर्क में ले जाने वाला है उत्तम गति की प्राप्ति करने वाला नहीं इस प्रकार अत्यंत दुष्ट पुत्र के दुराचारों से इस्रावक मनु का हृदय का जलने लगा उन्होंने गर्ग मनी से इस कारण पूछा इस रावत बोल महामुनि पूर्व काल में उत्तम व्रत का पालन करते हुए मैंने सब वेदों का विधि पूर्वक अध्ययन किया और उन्हें सप्ताह करके समाप्त करके वैदिक वीडियो के अनुसार स्त्री के साथ विवाह किया फिर स्त्रियों को साथ रखकर वेदों और इस मृत्यु में बताएं ल हुए सभी कर्तव्य कार्यों का अनुष्ठान किया जाता आज तक किसी भी क्रिया के अनुष्ठान में न्यूनतम नहीं आने दी उन्हें परम नाम के नर्क से डरते हुए मैंने गर्भधारण की विधि से पुत्र उत्पत्ति का उपदेश रखकर स्त्री के साथ समागम किया काम को के लिए नहीं यह सब होने पर भी ऐसा को पुत्र का जन्म क्यों हुआ क्या यह मेरी दोस्त से अथवा अपने दोस्त से उत्पन्न हुआ है जो आपने दूसरा से हमारे लिए डुगड़ाई और बंधु जनों के लिए शोक कारक हो गया है गर्ग ने कहा मुनिश्रेष्ठ तुम्हारा यह पुत्र रेवती नक्षत्र के अंतिम चरण में उत्पन्न हुआ है अतः दूसरी समय में जन्म ग्रहण करने के कारण या तुम्हारी लिए डुगड़ाई हो गया है इस रावत बोल मेरे एक ही पुत्र था तो भी प्रति नक्षत्र की अंतिम भाग में उत्पन्न होने के कारण इसमें ऐसी दुष्ट आई है इसलिए रोटी का शीघ्र ही पतंग हो गया मुनि के इस प्रकार शराब देते ही रेवती नक्षत्र आकाश से गिरा सारा संसार चकित जीत होकर या दृश्य देख रहा था वह नक्षत्र गिरी के और हो गिर पड़ वहां के वन गुफाएं तथा झड़ना आदि साहस उद्भाषित हो उठे रेवती नक्षत्र के गिरने से घूमते नींद गिरी का नाम रिबॉक पर्वत हो गया पूछना छात्र की रोक क्रांति थी वह कमल मंडली सरोवर के रूप में प्रकट हुए उसे समय उसे सर्वर से एक अत्यंत सुंदरी कन्या का प्रदा उपवास भाव हुआ मारुति की क्रांति से प्रकट हुई थी इसलिए समूचे मुनीष ने उसे देखकर उसका नाम रेवती रख दिया वह उसके आश्रम के पास ही प्रकट हुई थी इसलिए वह ही पिता की भांति उसका पालन पोषण करने लगे जब कन्या योजना अवस्था में पड़ा अर्पण कर चुकी थी तब मच मनी उसके लिए योग्यवर पूछने के विचार से अग्रशिला में गए उसके प्रार्थना करने पर आगरा देव ने उत्तर दिया इसका न्यायाधीश स्वामी राजा दुर्गम होंगे जो महाबली महापराक में प्रिया वार्ता और धर्म आवास चलता इस बीच में ब्रिंग माया के प्रश्न से राजा दुर्गम मुनि के आश्रम पर आ पहुंचे हुए प्रिया व्रत के वश में उत्पन्न अत्यंत बलवान और पराक्रमी थे उनकी पिता का नाम विक्रमशिला था और वह कम नीम के गर्व से उत्पन्न हुए थे आश्रम में पहुंचने पर जब उन्हें ऋषि नहीं दिखाई दिए तब उन्होंने रेवती को प्रिया का कर संबोधित किया और पूछा सुंदरी बताओ तो सही मुनिश्रेष्ठ प्रमोद इस आश्रम से कहां गए हैं मैं उन्हें प्रणाम करना चाहता हूं मोदी अग्नि शाला में बैठे हुए थे वहां से राजा का वार्तालाप और प्रिया संबोधन सुनकर हुए तुरंत ही बाहर निकले उन्होंने देखा राजोजित कॉन से युक्त महात्मा राजा दुर्गम विनती भाव से सामने खड़े हैं उन्हें देखकर मुनि ने गौतम नमक शिष्य से कहा गौतम इस महाराज के लिए अर्थ लव राजा अर्ध स्वर स्वीकार करके जब आसन पर विराजमान हुए तब महामुनि प्रमुख ने स्वागत पूर्वक पूछा राजन आपके घर सी खजान मित्र वृत्त मंत्री तथा शरीर की कुछ साल तो है ना राजा ने कहा शुभ रात आपकी कृपा से मेरे यहां सब कुशल से है कहीं भी कुशलता का अभाव नहीं है ऋषि बोले राजन मेरे यहां एक अन्य कन्या है इसके लिए वर्ग ढूंढने की इच्छा से महीने एग्री देव से पूछा था इसका पति कौन होगा अग्नि देव ने कहा राजा दुर्गम की इसकी स्वामी होंगे इसलिए अब आप मेरी दी हुई इस कन्या को ग्रहण करें आपने भी प्रिया से कहकर इसे संबोधित किया है अतः आप क्यों विचार करते हैं मुनि की बात सुनकर राजा दुर्गम्मा गायक तब महर्षि समूचे अपने कन्या का विवाहित कार्य संपन्न करने को उत्पत्ति हुई अपने विवाह के लिए पिता को भी देख कन्या से विनय से मस्तक झुका कर कहा पिताजी यदि आप मुझ पर प्रेम है तो कृपा करके मेरा विवाह रेवती नक्षत्र में ही कीजिए ऋषि बोले भद्रे इस्नावो के नाम से विख्यात तपस्वी मुनि रेवती नक्षत्र पर क्रोध करके उसे नक्षत्र मंडल से नीचे गिर रहा दिया है कन्या ने कहा पिताजी क्या इस राहु को मुनि ने ही ऐसे तपस्या किए हैं आपने नहीं यदि आप भी तपस्या है तो रेवती नक्षत्र को पुणे आकाश में स्थापित कीजिए आप इस नक्षत्र में मेरा विवाह क्यों नहीं करते ऋषि बोले भद्र तेरा कल्याण हो आप तो प्रसन्न हो मैं तेरे लिए मेरेवती नक्षत्र को पुणे चंद्रमा के मार्ग पर स्थापित करता हूं तदांतर महा भूमि प्रचुर ने अपनी तपस्या के प्रभाव से रेवती नक्षत्र को फोन ना पहले की ही भांति चंद्रमा मंगल से संयुक्त कर दिया फिर इस नक्षत्र में वैदिक मित्रों का उच्चारण करते हुए कन्या का विधि पूर्वक विवाह किया और प्रसन्न होकर अपने जय माता से कहा राजन बताइए माय इस विवाह में डे के रूप में आपको क्या दूं मेरी तपस्या अपरहित है मैं आपको दुर्लभ वस्तु भी दे सकता हूं राजा ने कहा मुनि मेरा जन्म इस महबूब मनु के वास में हुआ हूं अतः मैं आपकी कृपा से ऐसा पुत्र चाहता हूं जो मन्वंतरण का स्वामी हो ऋषि बोले राजा तुम्हारी या कामना पूर्ण होगी तुम्हारी पुत्र मनु होकर संपूर्ण पृथ्वी का उपभोग करेगा और धर्म का ज्ञात होग तब राजा उसे स्त्री को साथ ले अपने नरक नगर को चले गए उनके रेवत के गर्व से रेवत का जन्म हुआ वह सब धर्म से प्रसन्न और मनुष्यों से आ जाए थे वह सब शास्त्रों के ज्ञाता और वेद विधाओं के विश्वास थे उसके मन्वंतर में सुधि बैठक और अमिताभ के चार देवगन थे इसमें से प्रत्येक गांड में 14 14 देवता थे इन चारों देवगणों से इस नाम को नमक इंद्र थे उन्होंने यज्ञों अनुष्ठान करके इस बात को प्राप्त किया था ईरान रुस्तम वेद में सी उम्मीद भेदभाव सुदामा मानो महामुनि तथा वेद वेदांतों के पराए महा वशिष्ठ यह साथ विरत महांतरण के सप्त ऋषि थे बाल बंधु महावीर यशोधार्स्ट तथा सतयुग आदि रेवत मुनि के पुत्र थे

Markande says, "Brahmin, the fifth Manu was named Revat. I will describe his origin. Listen, in ancient times, there was a sage known as Stravaka. He did not have a son for a long time. After a long time, he was born in the last phase of the Revati nakshatra. He performed the child's rites and rituals, including the Upanayana ceremony, as per the prescribed rituals. However, he could not be a virtuous person. From the moment he was born, the sage himself was afflicted with long-term problems. His mother, also suffering from diseases like Koda, began to suffer greatly. The boy's father became extremely sad and began to wonder what kind of disaster had befallen him. Meanwhile, his evil-minded son abducted the wife of another Manu Kumari. Distressed by this, Stravaka said, "It is good for a man to be without a son, but it is never good. A bad son always hurts the hearts of his parents and even brings down the ancestors who have gone to heaven to hell. He exists only to cause pain to his parents. After that, the soul One has the right to have a son whose sons are loved by all, charitable, calm and engaged in good deeds, he is blessed. Mooch did not get happiness in this life because of his son and had to turn away from the next world. Taking shelter of a bad son, my or Adam's birth will only take one to hell and not lead to a good destination. Thus, due to the misdeeds of this extremely wicked son, the heart of Isravak Manu started burning. For this reason, he asked Garg Mani, "Speak to this great sage, in ancient times, while following the best fasts, I studied all the Vedas properly and after completing them for a week, I married a woman as per Vedic scriptures. Then, keeping women with me, I performed all the duties prescribed in the Vedas and in this death. Till date, I did not let them come in the least in the rituals of any action. Fearing the hell of the supreme name, I taught the method of procreation of a son through conception and had intercourse with the woman, not for sex, despite all this, why was such a son born? Was he born to my friend or to your friend that you had asked someone else for us. It has become a cause of grief for the people of Dhugadai and the relatives. Garg said, Munishreshtha, this son of yours was born in the last phase of Revati nakshatra, therefore, due to taking birth at the second time, it has become a cause of grief for you. This Rawat said, I had only one son, yet due to being born in the last part of Prati nakshatra, such evil has come in him, hence the bread soon turned into a kite. As soon as the Muni gave liquor in this manner, Revati nakshatra fell from the sky, the whole world was watching this scene in amazement, that nakshatra fell towards the mountain, the forests, caves and waterfalls etc. got inspired, due to the fall of Revati nakshatra, the name of the rotating mountain became Reebok mountain, it was the Rok Kranti of the student, it appeared in the form of a lotus group lake, at that time he was blessed with a very beautiful girl, she was born from the revolution of Maruti, therefore the entire Muni, on seeing her, named her Revati, she had appeared near his ashram, hence he himself started raising her like a father, when the girl was in the planning stage and had been offered Then Mach Mani went to Agrashila with the intention of asking a suitable person for him. On his prayer, Agra Dev replied that the judge would be Swami Raja Durgam who was Mahabali. Priya Varta and Dharma Awas were going on in Mahaparaka. Meanwhile, due to the question of Bring Maya, Raja Durgam reached the ashram of Muni. He was very strong and powerful, born under the influence of Priya Vrat. His father's name was Vikramshila and he was born from the pride of Kam Neem. On reaching the ashram, when he did not see the sage, he addressed Revati as Priya and asked, "Beautiful lady, tell me where has the great sage Pramod gone from this ashram? I want to pay my respects to him." Modi was sitting in the fire hall. Hearing the king's conversation and Priya's address, he immediately came out and saw that Mahatma Raja Durgam, accompanied by Rajojit, was standing in front of him with a pleading attitude. Seeing him, Muni said to his disciple named Gautam, "Gautam, the meaning for this Maharaj is Luv." When Raja accepted the half tone and sat on the seat, Mahamuni Pramukh welcomed him and asked, "King, treasures like your house, friends, ministers and body." It has been a few years, right? The king said, good night, by your grace, everything is well at my place, there is no lack of well-being anywhere. The sage said, king, I have another daughter here. With the desire to find a groom for her, I asked Agri Dev who would be her husband. Agni Dev said, King Durgamma will be her husband, therefore, now you should accept this daughter given by me. You have also addressed her as Priya, so why do you think? Hearing the sage's words, King Durgamma became emotional. Then Maharishi got ready to complete the marriage ceremony of his daughter. Seeing her father also for her marriage, the daughter bowed her head humbly and said, father, if you love me, then please marry me in Revati Nakshatra only. The sage said, Bhadre, the ascetic sage known as Isnavo, in anger, has caused Revati Nakshatra to fall down from the constellation. The girl said, father, is it only the sage who has performed such penance to control Rahu, not you. If you are also a penancer, then establish Revati Nakshatra in the sky, why don't you marry me in this Nakshatra? The sage said, Bhadra May you be blessed, you are happyLet me establish for you the Meravati nakshatra on the path of the moon. Thereafter Mahabhoomi Prabhar, by the effect of his penance, connected the Revati nakshatra with the moon and Mars as before. Then, in this nakshatra, reciting Vedic mantras, he married the girl as per the rituals and happily said to his Jai Mata, O King, tell me what should I give you as a gift in this marriage. My penance is without any fear, I can give you a rare thing also. The king said, Muni, I was born in the abode of this beloved Manu, hence, by your grace, I want such a son who is the lord of Manvantaran. The sage said, King, your wish will be fulfilled. Your son will become Manu and will enjoy the entire earth and will know the religion. Then the king took his wife with him and went to his hell city. Due to the pride of his Revat, Revat was born. He was pleased with all the religions and was loved by humans. He was knowledgeable of all the scriptures and believed in the Vedas. In his Manvantar, there were four gods of Sudhi Baithak and Amitabha. Out of these, there were 14 gods in each of these. Indra was the one with this name among the four gods. He had achieved this by performing yagyas and rituals. Iran Rustam, there was hope in the Vedas, discrimination Sudama, as if a great sage and Maha Vashishtha, a stranger to the Vedas and Vedanta, were the seven sages of the Mahatransit. Child brother Mahavir Yashodharst and Satyayug Adi were the sons of Revat Muni.
