ब्रह्म पुराण के अध्याय 59

सूर्य का तत्व वेदों का प्रगट्ठिया ब्रह्मा जी द्वारा सूर्य देव की स्तुति और सृष्टि रचना का आरंभ

कास्टिक जी बोले दूज श्रेष्ठ अपने मन्वंतरण की स्थिर का भली भांति वर्णन किया और मैं क्रमशः विस्तार पूर्वक उसे सुना अब राजाओं का संपूर्ण आवास जिनके आदि ब्रह्मा जी हैं मैं सुनना चाहता हूं अपना आप उसका यथावत वर्णन कीजिए मारकंडे जी ने कहा बादशाह ने प्रजापति ब्रह्मा जी को आदि बनकर जिसकी प्रवृत्ति हुई है तथा जो संपूर्ण जगत का मूल कारण है उसे राजवंश का तथा उसमें प्रकट हुए राजाओं के चित्रों का वर्णन सुनो इस बस में मानो ईश्वर करनी भागीरथ तथा अन्य सैकड़ो राजा जिन्हें पृथ्वी का पालन किया था उत्पन्न हुए थे वह सभी धर्म यज्ञ यज्ञ करता शूरवीर तथा परम तत्वों के ज्ञाता थे ऐसे वंश का वर्णन सुनकर मनुष्य समस्त पापों से छूट जाता है पूर्व काल में प्रजापति ब्रह्मा ने नाना प्रकार की प्रजा को उत्पन्न करने की इच्छा लेकर दाहिने अंगूठे से दक्ष को उत्पन्न किया और बाएं अंगूठे से उनकी पत्नी को प्रकट किया दक्ष की अतिथि ना कि एक सुंदरी कन्या उत्पन्न हुए जिनके घर से कश्यप ने भगवान सूर्य को जन्म दिया कास्टिक ने पूछा भगवान में भगवान सूर्य के यथार्थ स्वरूप का वर्णन सुनना चाहता हूं हुए किस प्रकार कश्यप जी के पुत्र हुए कश्यप और आदित्य ने कैसे उसकी आराधना की उनके यहां अग्नि हुए भगवान सूर्य का कैसा प्रभाव है यह सब भारतीय यथार्थ रूप से बताएं मारकंडे जी बोले ब्राह्मण पहले यह संपूर्ण लोकप्रभा और प्रकाश से सहित था चारों ओर घोरंडाकार घर डाले हुए था उसे समय परम कल्याण स्वरूप एक अविनाशी एवं विहत और प्रकट हुआ उसके भीतर सबके प्रति मां जगत के स्वामी लोकेश रहता कमल हिंदी साक्षात ब्रह्मा जी विराजमान थे उन्होंने उसे अंडा का भेदन किया महा भूमि उसे ब्रह्मा जी के मुख से ओम या महान शब्द प्रकट हुआ उसने पहले वह फिर वह अंतर स्वाहा एक तीन विवाह दिया उत्पन्न हुए जो भगवान सूर्य का स्वरूप है ओम ईश्वर रूप से सूर्य देव का अत्यंत सुषमा रूप प्रगट हुआ उसे मां यह स्थूल रूप हुआ फिर उसने जान लिया स्थूलता और रूप उत्पन्न हुआ उसे तब और तब से सत्य प्रकट हुआ इस प्रकार से सूर्य के साथ स्वरूप स्थित है जो कभी प्रकाशित होते हैं और कभी अब प्रकाशित रहते हैं ब्राह्मण मैं ओम या रूप बताया है वह सृष्टि का आदि अंत अत्यंत सुषमा एवं निराकार है वही परम ब्रह्म तथा वही ब्रह्मा का स्वरूप है उक्त अंडा का भेदन होने पर अव्यक्त जन्म ब्रह्मा जी के प्रथम मुख से ऋषि का प्रकट हुई उनके वार्ड जप कुसुम के समान था वह सप्ताह को में एक दूसरे से पृथक तथा आरजू में रूप धारण करने वाली थी तत्पश्चात ब्रह्मा जी के दक्षिण मुख से जोग वेद के मंत्र प्रबंधन रूप से प्रकट हुए जैसा सुमन रंग होता है वैसा ही उनका भी था हुए भी एक दूसरे से पृथक पृथक थे फिर परम श्रेष्ठ की ब्रह्मा के पश्चिम मुख से सामवेद की छत क्षण प्रकट हुए संपूर्ण ऑर्थव्ड जिसका राम-राम और कल अंजार राशि के समान कल है तथा जिसमें अविचारा एवं शांति कर्म के प्रयोग हैं ब्रह्मा जी के उत्तर मुख से प्रकट हुआ उसमें सुख सुख में सतगुरु तथा तमोगुण प्रधानता है और घर और समरूप एवं ऋषि वेद राज्यों भूमि की ऋग्वेद में साधु घोड़े की सामवेद में तमोगुड़ी की कथा ऋग्वेद में तमोगुण तथा सात्विक गन की प्रधानता है यह चारों वेद अनुपम तेज से दिन नियत होकर पहले की ही भारतीय पृथक पृथक की स्थिति हुई तत्पर साथ हुआ प्रथम तेज जो उनके नाम से पुकारा जाता है अपने स्वभाव से प्रकट हुए ऋग्वेद में तेज को व्याप्त करके स्थित हुआ महामुनि इस प्रकार उसका प्राण रूप से जोग वेद एवं सामवेद में तेज को आहत किया इस प्रकार उसे अधिक अनुष्ठान स्वरूप परम तेज ओमकार में चारों वेद में तेजियों एक तत्व को प्राप्त हुआ ब्रह्मांड तथा अंतर वह मोहित उत्तम वैदिक तेज परम तेज प्राण के साथ मिलकर जब एक तत्व को प्राप्त होता है तब सबके आदि में प्रकट होने के कारण उसका नाम अदिति होता है महाभारत वह अदिति ही इस विश्व का अविनाशी कारण है प्रातः काल मध्य तथा अपराह्न काल में आदित्य का अरुण वेद्रीय ही उसमें कर्मचारी युद्ध असम कहते हैं ताप्ती है पूर्व में ऋग्वेद माध्यम में उपग्रह तथा अपराध में सामवेद तप्त है इसलिए ऋग्वेद युक्त शांति करमपुर वहां में योग वेदों युक्त पौष्टिक कम माध्यम में तथा सामवेद को अभिसारी कम अपराह्न काल में निश्चय किया गया है अभिचारिक कम माध्यमों प्रधान दोनों कालों में किया जा सकता है किंतु पितरों के श्राद्ध आदि कर्म अपराह्न में ही सामवेद के मित्रों से करनी चाहिए सृष्टि कल में ब्रह्मा ऋग्वेद में पालन कल में विष्णु युग में तथा संघार में रुद्र सामवेद में कह गए साथियों सामवेद की ध्वनि और पवित्र मानी गई है इस प्रकार भगवान सूर्य वेद आत्मा वेदों में स्थित वेद विद्या स्वरूप तथा परम पुरुष कहते हैं कोई सनातन देवता सूर्य ही राजू गुण और तत्व गुण आदि का आश्रय लेकर क्रमशः सृष्टि पालन और संघर्ष के हेतु बनते हैं और इन कर्मों के अनुसार ब्रह्मा विष्णु आदि नाम धारण करते हैं वही वेदंतु द्वारा सताई सहित करने योग्य आयुर्वेद स्वरूप है उनका कोई पिता को नहीं है वह सब के आदी हैं संपूर्ण मनुष्य होने के स्वरूप है विश्व की आधारभूता जुटी हुई हैं उनके धर्म अथवा तत्वों का ठीक ठीक ज्ञान नहीं होता वह वेदांतात गैस में ब्रह्मा एवं पर से भी परम है तदांतर भगवान सूर्य के तेज से नीचे तथा ऊपर के सभी लोग सनातन होते हैं उन्हें लगे यह देख सृष्टि की इच्छा रखने वाले कल यानी ब्रह्मा जी ने सोचा सृष्टि पालन और संघार के कारण भूत भगवान सूर्य के सब और पहले हुए तेज से भी मेरी रखी हुई सृष्टि विनाश को प्राप्त हो जाएगी जल की समस्त प्राणियों का जीवन है वह जल सूर्य के तेज से सुख जा रहा है जल के बिना इस विश्व की सृष्टि हो रही नहीं सकती ऐसा विचार कर लोग पितामह भगवान ब्रह्मा ने एकाग्रचित होकर भगवान सूर्य की स्तुति आरंभ की ब्रह्मा जी बोले यह सब कुछ जिनका स्वरूप है जो सर्वमय संपूर्ण विश्व जिनके शरीर है जो परम ज्योति स्वरूप है तथा योगी जन्मदिन का ध्यान करते हैं उनका भगवान सूर्य को मैं नमस्कार करता हूं जो रिसीव वेज में है युग्वेद के अधिष्ठान है सामवेद की योनि है जिनकी शक्ति का चिंतन नहीं हो सकता जो स्थूल रूप में तीन वेद में है और जो सूचना रूप में प्राण की अर्थ मात्रा तथा जो गुरुओं से परे एवं परम ब्रह्म स्वरुप है उन भगवान सूर्य को मेरा नमस्कार है भगवान आप सबके कारण परम ग्रह आदि पुरुष परम ज्योति ज्ञान तिथि स्वरूप देवता रूप से स्थल तथा पर से भी पड़े हैं सबके आदि एवं प्रभाव का विस्तार करने वाले हैं मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूं आपकी जो आगा सकती है उसी को प्रेरणा से मैं पृथ्वी जा लगे वालों की देवता तथा प्राण हदीस युक्त समस्त सिटी के रचनाकर्ता हूं इसी प्रकार पालन होसानगर में मैं उसे आगा शक्ति से प्रेरणा से ही करता हूं अपनी इच्छा से नहीं भगवान आप ही अग्नि स्वरूप है आप जब जल सुख लेते हैं तब मैं पृथ्वी तथा जगत की सृष्टि करता हूं आप ही सर्वव्यापी मां आकाश स्वरूप है तथा आप ही इस प्रतीक जगत का पूर्ण रूप से पालन करते हैं सूर्य देव परम आत्मा तत्वों के ज्ञाता विधान पुरुष सर्व यज्ञ में विष्णु स्वरूप आपका ही यज्ञ द्वारा यजन करते हैं तथा आपकी मुक्ति की इच्छा रखने वाले जितेंद्र यदि आप सबक सर्व परमात्मा का ही ध्यान करते हैं देव स्वरूप आपको नमस्कार है यज्ञ रूप आपको प्रणाम भाई योगी के प्रिय परम ब्रह्म स्वरूप आपको नमस्कार है प्रभु मैं सृष्टि करने के लिए उदित हूं और आपका यह तेज पूरी सृष्टि का विनाशक हो रहा है आता है आपने इस देश को समेत लीजिए मारकंडे जी कहते हैं सृष्टि करता ब्रह्मा जी के किस प्रकार स्तुति करने पर भगवान सूर्य ने अपने महान देश से सबमिट कर संलग्न तेज को ही धारण किया था ब्रह्मा जी ने पूर्व कालांतर के अनुसार जगत की शृष्टि आरंभ की महत्व ब्रह्मा जी ने पालन के पहले देवताओं असुरों मनुष्यों पशु पक्षियों वृक्ष चलता तथा नरक आदि की भी सृष्टि की

Ji said that all this is the form of the one who has the entire universe and whose body is it.I salute Lord Surya, who is the supreme light and the yogi who meditates on his birthday. He is in the receiver's way, the abode of the Yugveda, the womb of the Samaveda, whose power cannot be imagined, who is present in the three Vedas in gross form, and who is the meaning of life in the form of information, and who is beyond all gurus and the form of the ultimate Brahma. I salute Lord Surya, the cause of all, the supreme planet, the first man, the supreme light, the form of knowledge and date, the deity, who is present on the earth and beyond, the origin and the expander of all influence. I salute you. Inspired by your intellect, I am the god of those who go to the earth and the creator of all the cities containing life and soul. Similarly, in the Haranagara, I perform it only by inspiration from your intellect power, not by my own will. Lord, you are the form of fire, when you dry up in water, I create the earth and the world. You are the omnipresent mother, the form of the sky, and you completely nurture this symbolic world. Sun God, the supreme soul, the knower of the elements, the law man, the form of Vishnu in all yagyas, worships you through yagya and desires your liberation. Jitendra, the one who keeps, if you meditate on the Supreme God only, salutations to you in the form of God, salutations to you in the form of Yagya, brother, salutations to you in the form of Param Brahma, beloved of Yogis, Lord, I have risen to create the universe and this radiance of yours is becoming the destroyer of the entire universe, you take this country along with you, Markande ji says that on the praise of Brahma ji, the creator of the universe, Lord Surya submitted from his great country and assumed the attached radiance, Brahma ji started the creation of the world according to the previous time period, importance, before the creation, Brahma ji also created gods, demons, humans, animals, birds, trees, walking and hell etc.
