क्षुप विविश खनीनेत्र करन्धम अवीक्षित तथा मरूत के चरित्र के भाग 2 

कन्या बोली पिताजी यद्यपि संग्राम में इनके यश और पराक्रम की हानि हुई दादा पिए उसमें धर्म अनुकूल बर्ताव करते रहे हैं यह अकेले थे तो भी बहुतों ने मिलकर इन्हें प्राप्त किया है अतः वास्तव में इसकी पराजय हुई है यह कहना ठीक नहीं है युद्ध के लिए जब बहुत से राजा आए तब हुए उसमें सिया की भांति अकेले घुस गए और निरंतर डटकर सामना करते रहे इससे इनका महान शौर्य प्रकट हुआ है यह वीरता और पराक्रम से युक्त होकर धर्म युद्ध में चलना थे ऐसे समय में समस्त राजाओं ने मिलकर इन पर धर्म पूर्वक विजय पाई है अतः इसमें इनके लिए राजा की कौन सी बात है 7 में इनके रूप मंत्र पर लुभा गई हूं ऐसी बात नहीं है इसकी वीरता पराक्रम और धारिता आदि सद्गुण मेरे चिंता को चुरा लेते हैं अतः आप अधिक कहने की क्या आवश्यकता है आप मेरे लिए महाराज से इन्हें महान अनुभव की याचना कीजिए इसके सिवाय दूसरा कोई मेरा पति नहीं हो सकता विशाल ने कहा राजकुमार मेरी पुत्री ने बहुत अच्छी बातें कही है इसमें सदैव संदेह नहीं है कि तुम्हारे जैसा वीर कुमार इस भूतल पर दूसरा कोई नहीं है तुम्हारे शौर्य की कहीं समानता नहीं है तुम्हारा पराक्रम अनंत है वीर तुम्हारा मेरा कन्या का पानी ग्रहण करके मेरे कल को पवित्र करो तब महाराज करधन हमने अपने पुत्र को समझते हुए कहा बेटा तुम राजा विशाल की कन्या को स्वीकार करो इसी सुंदरी का तुम्हारी प्रति अत्यंत डेड अनुराग है राजकुमार ने कहा पिताजी मैंने पहले कभी आपकी आज्ञा का उल्लंघन नहीं किया है अतः ऐसी आज्ञा दीजिए जिनका मैं पालन कर सकूं उसे राजकुमार का अध्ययन निश्चित विचार देख विशाल ने व्याकुल होकर अपनी कन्या से कहा बेटी अब तुम उनकी ओर से अपना मन हटा लो और दूसरे को पति रूप में वर्णन करो यहां बहुत से राजकुमार है कन्या बोली पिताजी यदि यह तुझको नहीं ग्रहण करना चाहते तो मैं तपस्या करके इन्हें अपना पति बनाऊंगा इस जन्म में इनके सिवाय दूसरा कोई मेरा पति नहीं होगा तदांतर राजा कारदानम राजा विशाल के साथ प्रसन्नता पूर्वक तीन दिनों तक टिके रहे फिर अपने नगर को लौट आए अभिक्षित को उनके पिता तथा अन्य राजाओं ने प्राचीन दुश्ताओं के द्वारा बहुत कुछ समझाया इससे हुए भी उनके साथ नगर में लौट आए राज कन्या वैशाली अपने बंधु बंधनों से विदा ले वन में चली गई और वहां डेड वैराग्य में स्थित हो निहार रहकर तपस्या करने लगी तीन महीना तक उपवास करने के बाद उसकी बड़ी पीड़ा हुई वह अत्यंत दुबली हो गई और उसके शरीर की एक-एक नदी दिखाई देने लगी उसका उत्साह मंद पड़ गया वह महाराणा शास्त्र हो चली तब उसे राजकुमारी ने शरीर त्याग देने का विचार किया उसका अभी प्रयास ध्यान कर देवताओं ने उसके पास एक दूध भेजो दूध वहां आकर कहा राजकुमारी मैं देवताओं का दूध हूं देवताओं ने तुम्हारे पास मुझे जिस कार्य के लिए भेजा है उसे सुनो यह मानव शरीर अत्यंत दुर्लभ है तुम अकारण इसका परित्याग ना करो कल्याणी तुम चक्रवर्ती राजा की जननी हो गई तुम्हारा पुत्र अपने शत्रुओं का संघर्ष करके साथ दीपों से युक्त पृथ्वी का अखंड राज्य हो जाएगा कहीं भी उसकी आज्ञा का उल्लंघन न होगा वह चारों वर्णों को अपने-अपने धर्म में स्थापित करके उन सब का पालन करेगा लुटेरे मछलियों दूषणों का वध करेगा उत्तम दक्षिणाओं से पूर्ण नाना प्रकार के यज्ञ करेगा उसके द्वारा सुमित आदि यह क्यों का छह हजार बार अनुष्ठान होगा वह दूध आकाश में ही खड़ा था उनके शरीर पर दिव्या हर और चंदन शोभा पा रहे थे इस इस पर देख राज कन्या ने कोमल वाणी में कहा तुम देवताओं के दूध हो इसमें तनिक भी संदेह नहीं सचमुच ही तुम स्वर्ग से यहां आए हो किंतु तुम्हारी बातों पति के बिना मुझे पुत्र कैसा होगा मैंने पिता के समीप या प्रतिज्ञा कर ली है कि इस जन्म में अभिक्षित के सिवा दूसरा कोई मेरा पति नहीं होगा किंतु वह अभिक्षित मेरे पिता के अपने पिता के तथा स्वयं मेरे कहने पर भी मुझे नहीं ग्रहण करना चाहते देवदूत ने कहा मा भाग्य बहुत खाने से क्या लाभ है तुम्हें पुत्र अवश्य होगा तुम धर्म पूर्वक इस शरीर का त्याग ना करो वन में रहो और अपने दुर्लभ शरीर का पोषण करो तपस्या के प्रभाव से तुम्हारा सब कुछ भला ही होगा यूं कह कर देवदूत जैसे आया था लौट आ गया तथा वह सुंदरी प्रतिदिन अपने शरीर का पोषण करने लगी उधर अविक्षित की वीर प्रसंग विनिमता बिरनी किसी शुभ दिनों को अपने पुत्र अभिजीत को पास बुलाया और इस प्रकार कहा बेटा मैं तुम्हारे पिता की आज्ञा से एक व्रत करूंगी उनका नाम की स्मिथ व्रत है किंतु वह है बहुत दूर कर फिर भी उसके करने से कल्याण ही होगा यदि तुम कुछ बल पराक्रम दिखाओगे तो वह अवश्य साथ हो जाएगा तुम्हारे लिए वह असाध्याय हो या दुखदायक यदि तुम उसके लिए प्रतिज्ञा कर लोगे तो मैं उसका अनुष्ठान आरंभ कर दूंगी आप तुम्हारा जो विचार हो सो कहो अविक्षित बोले मां यदि पिताजी ने तुम्हें आज्ञा दे दी है तो तुम निश्चित होकर की स्मिथ व्रत का अनुष्ठान करो मन में किसी प्रकार की चिंता ना करो तदांतर महारानी वीरा ने उपवास पूर्वक को व्रत का आरंभ किया तथा शास्त्रों में बताएं अनुसार कुबेर की संपूर्ण वीडियो की निधि पलक घर की और लक्ष्मी जी की बड़ी भक्ति के साथ पूजा की उन्होंने अपने मानवादी और शरीर को काबू में कर लिया था इधर महाराज गंधर्व ने जब एकांत घर में बैठे हुए थे उसे सम्मान नीति शास्त्र प्रसाद मंत्रियों ने उनके पास जाकर कहा राजन इस पृथ्वी का शासन करते हुए आपकी वृद्धावस्था आ गई आपकी एक ही पुत्र आया अभी दीक्षित किन्हे स्त्री का संपर्क नहीं छोड़ दिया है इससे आपका वंश अप लुप्त हो जाएगा पितरों के पिंड और पानी देने वाला कोई नहीं रहेगा अतः आप ऐसा कोई यात्रा कीजिए जिससे आपका पुत्र पितरों का उपकार करने वाली बुद्धि ग्रहण करें विवाह करने पर रखी हो जाए इसी समय राजा कंधार के कानों में एक आवाज आई रानी बीरमगीनी के पुरोहित याचक से कह रहे थे फोन क्या कहना क्या चाहता है किसके लिए कौन सी वस्तु दुखदाई है इसका साधना किया जाए महाराज कम धाम की रानी की चित व्रत का अनुष्ठान करती है अतः जिसकी तो इच्छा हुआ पूर्ण की जाएगी पुरोहित की बात सुनकर राजकुमार अभिजीत ने भी राज द्वार पर आए हुए समस्त या आंखों से कहा मेरी परम सौभाग्यवती माता की उचित व्रत कर रही है अतः मेरे शरीर से किसी का कोई कार्य सिद्ध होने वाला हो तो वह बताएं सब याचक सुन ले मैं प्रतिज्ञा पूर्वक कहता हूं इसकी चित्र व्रत के अनुष्ठान के अवसर पर तुम लोग क्या चाहते हो बताओ उसे मैं दूंगा अपने बेटे के मुख से यह बात सुनकर महाराज गंधर्व तुरंत सामने आए और बोले मैं या चाकू मुझे मेरी मांग हुई वस्तु दो अपेक्षित बोले बोले ताई आपको क्या देना है बताइए मेरा कर्तव्य दुष्कर हो साध्य हो अथवा अत्यंत दूर-सदा हो बताएं मैं उसे पूर्ण करूंगा राजा ने कहा यदि तुम सत्य प्रतिज्ञा हो और सब को इच्छा अनुसार दान देते हो तो मेरी गोद में पुत्र का मुंह दिखाओ ना दीक्षित बोले महाराज मैं आपका एक ही पुत्र हूं और ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन मेरा व्रत है मेरा कोई पुत्र है ही नहीं फिर आपको पुत्र का मुख कैसे दिखाऊं राजा ने कहा बहुत खाने से क्या लाभ तुम ब्रह्मचारी को छोड़ो और अपने माता की इच्छा अनुसार मुझे पुत्र का मुख दिखाओ
