भगवती सती तथा भगवान शिव का आनंद विहार दक्ष द्वारा यज्ञ करने उसमें शंकर को ना बुलाने का निश्चय करना महर्षि दादी जी द्वारा दक्ष की निंदा नारा जी द्वारा सती को पिता के यज्ञ में जाने के लिए प्रेरित करना श्री महादेव जी बोले नारद भगवान शंकर भगवती सती को प्राप्त कर अत्यंत कम हुआ हो गए और उन्होंने प्रथम गानों तथा महान बलशाली नदी से कहा प्रथम गढ़ मेरी आज्ञा से यह शिकार कुछ दूर जाकर तुम लोग देर तक स्थित हो जाओ जब तुम लोग याद करोगे तब तुम लोग मेरे पास आ जाना मेरी आज्ञा बिना कोई भी यह कथा भी नहीं आएगा भगवान शंकर का यह वचन सुनकर कोई सभी प्रथम गार्डन का संदिग्ध त्याग कर कुछ दूरी पर स्थित हो गए महामुनि उसके बाद भगवान शंकर सती के साथ उसे निर्जन वन में तीन रात किया था रुचि स्मरण करने लगे एक बार उन्होंने वन में फूलों को लगाकर उसकी सुंदर माला बनाई तथा सभी को समर्पित करवे खुद हाल पूर्वक उन्हें देखने लगे कभी हुए प्रेम वैस खिले हुए कमल की तरह साथी के सुंदर मुख को हदर पूर्व खास से सलेट थे कभी इच्छा अनुसार पर्वत की कथा वीडियो में कभी पुष्प वाटिका मित्रता कभी सरवर के किनारे स्मरण करते थे इस प्रकार भगवान शंकर सती के अतिरिक्त तथा भगवती सती शिव की अतिरिक्त एक पल ही भी दूरी दूर दृष्टि नहीं डालते थे नारद भगवान शंकर भगवती सती के साथ कभी कैलाश पर्वत पर चले जाते थे तो कभी उसे श्रेष्ठ हिमालय पर्वत के जिस किसी शिखर पर सती के साथ फिर पहुंच जाते थे महामति इस प्रकार सती के साथ बिहार करते हुए भगवान शंकर को 10 हजार वर्ष व्यतीत हो गए तथा उन्हें दिन रात का भी महान ना रहा इस प्रकार अपनी माया से महादेव को मोहित करके दिलों की मम्मी भगवती सती हिमालय के शिखर पर विराजती रही मेनका भगवती सती के पास नित्य जाकर उचित समय जानकर भक्ति पूर्वक निरंतर उन्हें पुत्री रूप में पानी की प्रार्थना करती थी कि मावन की पत्नी मेनका ने शुक्ल पक्ष की महाष्टमी के दिन उपवास पूर्वक व्रत का आरंभ किया होना एक वर्ष तक शुक्ल पक्ष की महाराष्ट्र में के दिन विधि पूर्वक भगवती सती की पूजा करके पुणे महा अष्टमी को उपवास करके व्रत का समापन किया तब शंकर की भैया सती ने प्रसन्न होकर वहां आकर्षित कर दिया लिया कि मैं आपकी पुत्री के रूप में अभिव्यक्ति होंगे इसमें संदेह नहीं है सती का यह वचन सुनकर मेनका का चित्र प्रसन्न हो गया हुए रात दिन सती का ध्यान करके हिमालय के भवन में रहने लगी नारद प्रत्यक्ष अज्ञानता वश प्रतिदिन शंकर की निंदा करते थे और शंकर जीवन प्रजापति दक्ष को सामान्य का पात्र नहीं मानते थे मनी श्रेष्ठ शिव तथा प्रजापति दक्ष के बीच एक दूसरे के प्रति इस प्रकार का महान अद्भुत बेमनिया हो गया मुनि एक बार ब्रह्मपुत्र नारद ने दक्ष प्रजापति के यहां आकर उसने यह बात कही प्रजापति आपके महेश्वर के प्रतिदिन निंदा करते हैं कोई उसे कुपित होकर जो करना चाहते हैं उसे आप सुन लीजिए वैसे वह अपने बहुत गानों की साथ आपके नगर में आकर बस में था हड्डियों की वर्षा करके निश्चय कल सहित आपका नाश कर देंगे आपके स्नेह के कारण ही मैं आपसे यह बात कहा है इसे आप कभी प्रकाशित न करें अब आप अपने विद्यमान मंत्रियों के साथ इसके उपाय के लिए विचार विमर्श कीजिए ऐसा कह कर वह नारद आकाश मार्ग से अपने स्थान को चले गए इधर प्रजापति ने सभी मंत्रियों को बुलाकर यह मंत्री गण आप लोग को सदा से मेरा हिट करने वाले रहे किंतु मेरे शत्रुओं के क्रियाकलाप का किसी ने ध्यान नहीं रखा महर्षि नारद मेरे पास आकर ऐसा कहा है कि शिव अपने समस्त मोड करो के साथ मेरे पूर्व में आकर पास खड़ी और रक्त की दृष्टि करें इसमें संदेह नहीं है तो इसे ही संबंध में मुझे सब समय करना हो इसे आप लोग बताएं महामुनि दक्ष की यह बात सुनकर हुए सभी मंत्री भाई से व्याकुल होते हैं और उसे यह वचन करने लगे मंत्री ने कहा देवरा ही देव शिव ऐसा क्यों करें हम लोग उसकी इस अभिनेत्री कारण नहीं समझ पा रहे हैं आप तो बुद्धिमानों के श्रेष्ठ तथा सभी शास्त्रों के ज्ञान और आप यह जो जीत आ गया दीजिए इस बात हम लोग के द्वारा कल्याणकारी साधना अनुष्ठान किए जाएं दक्ष बोल शमशान में निवास करने वाले तथा भूत कानों के अधिपति शिव को छोड़कर आने सभी देवताओं को बुलाकर में यज्ञ का आयोजन करूंगा और समस्त विघ्नों का नाश करने वाले योगेश्वर भगवान विष्णु को यज्ञ संरक्षक बनाकर में प्रयत्न पूर्वक किया गया संपन्न करूंगा इस प्रकार पूर्ण यज्ञ आरंभ हो जाने पर भूत पति शिव मेरे पुण्य कर्म युद्ध नारद नगर में कैसे आप पाएंगे
