श्री महादेव जी बोले नारद तब दक्ष प्रजापति के ऐसे कहने पर भाई के कारण मंत्रियों ने दक्ष प्रजापति से कहा महाराज या ठीक ही है तत्पश्चात क्षीरसागर के तट पर पहुंच कर दक्ष प्रजापति ने भगवान विष्णु से याद की रक्षा के लिए प्रार्थना की तब परम पुरुष भगवान विष्णु प्रसन्न होकर यज्ञ की रक्षा करने के लिए उन दक्ष के पूर्व में स्वयं पहुंच गए उसके बात दक्ष ने इंद्र आदि प्रधान देवताओं ब्रह्मा देव ऋषियों प्रधान ब्रह्मचारियों प्रधान एक्सन गंधर्व मित्रों मित्रों कीनन तथा पर्वतों को निर्मित किया मोदी दक्ष ने ओसिया के मौसम में सभी को बुलवाया था किंतु विदेश की के कारण शिव को तथा उसकी पत्नी सती को छोड़ दिया था दक्ष प्रजापति ने कौन सा भी लोगों से कहा मैंने अपने यज्ञ महोत्सव में शिव तथा उसकी प्रिय पत्नी सती को नहीं बुलाया है जो लोग इस यज्ञ में नहीं आएंगे वह यज्ञ भाग से वंचित हो जाएंगे स्वयं सनातन परम पुरुष भगवान विष्णु मेरे यज्ञ की रक्षा के लिए यहां आए हुए इसलिए आप सभी लोग भाई मुक्त होकर मेरे यज्ञ में आएंगे इस प्रकार उन दक्ष का वचन सुनकर भयभीत हुए देवता आदि सभी शिव विहीन होने पर भी उसे यज्ञ सभा में आ गए यज्ञ की रक्षा करने में तात्पर्य भगवान विष्णु को आया हुआ सुनकर सभी देवता तथा अन्य भी शिव कोक से भय रहित हो गए दक्ष ने सती को छोड़कर अदिति आदि सभी पुत्रों को अनदर पूर्वक बुलवाकर उन्हें पुष्प कल वस्त्र और आभूषण से संतुष्ट किया मुनि उन्होंने यज्ञ के निर्माता महान पर्वत के समान इंट्रो का संचय किया एवं दूध दही भी आदि की बड़ी-बड़ी नदियां बहादी इस प्रकार प्रजापति दक्ष ने यज्ञ के लिए जो जो वस्तु तथा द्रव्य आप शिक्षित थे उन सब संचय कर डाला उन्होंने रस सामग्रियों का सागर सदृश्य तथा अन्य पदार्थ का पर्वत सदृश्य कर दिया उनके बाद यज्ञ आरंभ हुआ मुनिश्रेष्ठ पुरुष यज्ञ में स्वयं पृथ्वी बेदी बने या कुंड में उधर तथा निर्मल शिखर वाले धूम्रहित अग्नि देव स्वयं प्रचलित हुई जो लोग उसे यज्ञ में वेद पाठ के लिए नियुक्त किए गए थे वह सब के सब आसान पर विराजमान हो गए महामति यज्ञ की रक्षा करने वाले के स्वामी जगत की रक्षक आदि परम पुरुष तथा यज्ञ स्वरुप साक्षात् भगवान नारायण यज्ञ विधि पर प्रतिष्ठित हो गए इस प्रकार यह आरंभ हो जाने पर यज्ञ में श्रेष्ठ महामति दधीचि ने वह एकमात्र शिव को ना देख कर दक्ष ने ऐसे कहा दधीचि बोले महान बुद्धि वाले प्रजापति आप जिस प्रकार का यह यज्ञ कर रहे हैं वैसा ना तो कभी हुआ और ना कभी होगा यह सभी देवता इस यज्ञ में स्वयं ही साक्षात प्रगट होकर अपने-अपने यज्ञ भाग से आई होती ग्रहण कर रहे हैं इस यज्ञ में सभी प्राणी तो आए हुए दिखाई दे रहे हैं किंतु देवताओं के अधिपति संभोग क्यों नहीं दिख रहे हैं दक्ष बोल मुनिश्रेष्ठ मैं उन महेश्वर को इस यज्ञ में बुलवाकर नहीं था पता हुए इस पुणे यज्ञ में नहीं दिखाई दे रहे हैं दधीचि बोले प्रजापति जैसे विधिवत रतन से भली भांति विभूषित होने पर भी प्राण विहीन शरीर बिल्कुल सुशोभित नहीं होता वैसे ही महेश्वर के बिना अपना यह यज्ञ शमशान की भांति दिखाई दे रहा है दक्ष बोल दुष्ट ब्राह्मण तुम्हें यहां किसने बुलाया है और तुम यहां क्यों आए हो तुमसे किसने पूछा है जो तुम इस प्रकार बोल रहे हो दधीचि बोले मैं तुम्हारे इस अनिष्ट करी यज्ञ में तुम्हारे द्वारा बुलाया जाए अथवा ना बुलाया जाए किंतु यदि मेरी बात मानो तो सदाशिव महादेव को बुला लो क्योंकि शिव विहीन किया गया किया गया फलदायक नहीं होता जिस प्रकार अर्थ से रहित वाक्य भेद ज्ञान से सन ब्राह्मण तथा गदा से रहित देश व्याप्त होता है उसी प्रकार शिव के बिना यज्ञ निष्फल होता है जैसे पति के बिना स्त्री और पुत्र के बिना गृहस्थ का जीवन व्यर्थ है जैसे निधन की आशंका अभ्यर्थ है वैसे ही शिव के बिना यज्ञ व्याप्त है जिस प्रकार कुछ विभिन्न संध्या वंदन तिलक विहीन तर्पण और हेवी से रहित हम निष्फल होता है उसी प्रकार रूप विहीन यज्ञ भी निष्फल होता है जो विष्णु है वही महादेव है और जो महादेव है वही स्वयं नारायण विष्णु है इन दोनों में कभी-कभी ही कोई भेद नहीं इस प्रकार जो इसकी निंदा करता है वह स्वयं ही निर्मित होता है इसमें किसी एक की निंदा करने वाले दूसरे कभी प्रसन्न नहीं होता शिव को आप अपमानित करने की कामना से युक्त होकर तुम जो यह यज्ञ कर रहे हो इसे अत्यंत उपित होकर वह शुभ तुम्हारा यज्ञ नष्ट कर देगा दक्ष बोल संपूर्ण जगत की रक्षा करने वाले भगवान विष्णु जी यज्ञ की रक्षक है उसे यज्ञ में वह शमशान वास संभोग मेरा क्या कर लेगा प्रेत भूमि शमशान से प्रेम रखने वाला वीडियो यदि मेरे यज्ञ में आएगा तो भगवान विष्णु अपने चक्र से तुम्हारे शिव को रोक लेंगे

Modi Daksha had invited everyone in the season of Osia, but due to foreign land, he had left out Shiva and his wife Sati. Daksha Prajapati told all the people that I have not invited Shiva and his beloved wife Sati in my yagna festival. Those who will not come to this yagna will be deprived of the yagna share. The eternal Supreme Being Lord Vishnu himself has come here to protect my yagna, therefore all of you brothers will be freed and come to my yagna. Hearing the words of Daksha in this way, all the gods etc. got frightened. Even in the absence of Shiva, they came to the yagna assembly. On hearing that Lord Vishnu had come to protect the Yagya, all the gods and others also became free from the fear of Shiva. Daksha called all his sons including Aditi except Sati and satisfied them with flowers, clothes and ornaments. The sage, the creator of the Yagya, collected the material like a great mountain and made big rivers of milk, curd etc. flow. In this way Prajapati Daksha collected all the things and substances that he had prepared for the Yagya. He made the material like an ocean and other substances like a mountain. After them, the Yagya started. The great sage himself became the earth altar in the Yagya or in the Kund and the smokeless Agni Dev with a clear peak became prevalent. All those who were appointed to recite the Vedas in the Yagya sat on the seats. Mahamati, the master of the one who protects the Yagya, the protector of the world, the supreme man and the form of the Yagya, Lord Narayana himself became established on the Yagya method. When it started in this way, the best Mahamati Dadhichi, not seeing only Shiva in the Yagya, Daksha said like this Dadhichi said, Prajapati of great intellect, the type of yagya you are performing has never happened before and will never happen. All the creatures are seen present in this yagya but why is the lord of the gods not visible? Daksha said, O great sage, did I not call Maheshwar in this yagya, why is he not visible in this yagya? Dadhichi said, Prajapati, just as a body without life does not look good even after being decorated with gems properly, similarly without Maheshwar, this yagya of ours looks like a crematorium. Daksha said, evil Brahmin, who has called you here and why have you come here, who has asked you that you are speaking like this? Dadhichi said, I have done harm to you. Whether you invite me or not in this yagya, but if you listen to me then call Sadashiv Mahadev because a yagya performed without Shiva does not yield any results, just as a sentence devoid of meaning is devoid of knowledge, a Brahmin and Just as a country is devoid of mace, similarly a yajna is fruitless without Shiva. Just as a woman's life is futile without a husband and a householder's life is futile without a son. Just as the fear of death is inevitable, similarly a yajna is fruitless without Shiva. Just as some different evening prayers, tarpana without tilak and havi are fruitless, similarly a yajna without form is fruitless. The one who is Vishnu is the same Mahadev and the one who is Mahadev is the same Narayan Vishnu himself. There is no difference between these two only sometimes. In this way, the one who criticizes this is self-created. The one who criticizes one is never pleased with the other. With the desire to insult Shiva, you are performing this yajna. Being extremely upset with this, that auspicious person will destroy your yajna. Daksha, say that Lord Vishnu, who protects the entire world, is the protector of the yajna. What can that living in the cremation ground and having sexual intercourse with him do to me in the yajna? If the video of the ghost who loves the cremation ground comes to my yajna, then Lord Vishnu will stop your Shiva with his chakra.
