नन्दी को भगवान शिव का वरदान कैलाश पर्वत पर देवता गंधर्व महर्षि गान देव पटिया तथा कीनन और मनी पटिया सभी पधार गए और नृत्य ज्ञान करते हुए विवाह उत्सव मनाने लगे कुछ समय बाद ज्ञानी शिव भक्त नदी को दक्ष की सेवाएं में थी वह आए और भगवान शंकर को भूमि पर दंडवत प्रणाम कर उसकी स्तुति करते हुए प्रार्थना करने लगे भगवान मैं आपका नित्य निकट रहने वाला दास बन रहा हूं का निरंतर आपका दर्शन करता रहूं भगवान शंकर ने नंदी की प्रार्थना को स्वीकार कर लिया उन्हें अपने प्रथम गानों को अधिपति बना दिया दक्ष द्वारा यज्ञ आयोजन तथा शिव को का होती ना करना दक्ष भगवान शंकर के प्रति देव भाव बन ही रहा था एक बार उन्होंने एक विशाल यज्ञ का आयोजन किया जिसमें इंद्र आदि प्रधान देवता ब्रह्मा देवासी ब्राह्मण ऋषियों यक्ष गंधर्व पितरों दैत्यों की नर तथा पर्वतों को भी निर्मित किया किंतु विदेश के कारण शिव तथा उसकी पत्नी सती को नहीं बुलाया इस यज्ञ की रक्षा के लिए भगवान विष्णु ने प्रार्थना कर उन्हें भी आहुति कर लिया महेश्वर महर्षि दाढ़ी जी द्वारा दक्ष को शिव महिमा बतलाना उसे यज्ञ में महापति तथा जी ने उपस्थित थे उन्होंने यज्ञ में शिव का भाग न देकर लक्ष्य प्रजापति को समझने का प्रयास करते हुए कहा कि शिव विधिहीन किया गया यज्ञ की उसे प्रकार फलदायक नहीं होता है जिस प्रकार अर्थ से रहित वाक्य वेद ज्ञान से सोनिया ब्राह्मण तथा गांड से रहित हुए ऐसे प्रतीत के बिना स्त्री का पुत्र के बिना गृहस्ती का जीवन व्यर्थ है जैसे निर्धन व्यक्ति की आकाश में व्याप्त होती है जिस प्रकार कुछ विभिन्न संध्या वर्धन तिल उतनी तर्पण हवा से रहित होकर भी फल रहता है उसे प्रकार शुभ विभिन्न या विभिन्न निष्फल होता है नदी जी की इस बातों को सुनकर अध्यक्ष भी खुद हो गए और अपने अनुचरण बोले इस ब्राह्मण को यहां से दूर कर ले जाओ मनीष श्रेष्ठ दादी जी भी उसकी सभा में से चले गए देवी सती पिता की यज्ञ में जाना है इधर नारद जी भगवान शंकर के पास पधारे रहता था दक्ष प्रजापति यज्ञ जाने के लिए प्रेरित करने लगे भगवान शंकर ने स्वयं तथा अपने प्राण प्रिय सती दोनों के लिए जाना और स्वीकार कर दिया तब नारद जी ने देवी सती को जाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया सती ने नाराज जी की बात सुनकर पिता के यज्ञ में जाने का मन बना लिया यदि पच उन्हें यज्ञ में न जाने के लिए समझने का प्रयास किया परंतु सती के जाने का निश्चय दिन किया भगवान शंकर को अपना प्रभाव दिखाने की दृष्टि से सती ने अपना भयंकर रूप प्रदर्शित किया जिसे देखकर शिव विवाह भागे हुए मैं भी ठोकर चारों दिशाओं में नजर ग्रहण कर चाहते थे उसी क्षण भगवती जगदंबा के द्वारा दसों दिशाओं में 10 महाविद्याओं का प्रकट हुआ भगवती ने इस 10 महाविद्याओं की महिमा तथा उपासना आदि का भी वर्णन सुनाया कुछ ही देर में 10 मा विद्यालय अंतर ध्यान हो गए भगवान शिव ने सती के प्रभावित होकर उन्हें जाने का अनोखा प्रदान कर दी सती अपने पिता अध्यक्ष के यज्ञ में पहुंच गए सर्वप्रथम हुए अपनी माता प्रस्तुति से मिली माता ने सती का सम्मान किया और इसने भरी बातें की माता से मिलकर साथी अपने पिता लक्ष्य प्रजापति की ओर मुख हुए उनके द्वारा अपने पति भगवान शिव की निंदा सुनकर तथा उसका यज्ञ में भाग देखकर वह अत्यंत क्रोधित हो गए और उन्होंने भाई कर रूप धारण कर लिया उन्हें उपस्थित सभी देवता और इसी भी अंतर ध्यान भयभीत हो गए

Lord Shiva's boon to Nandi: Gods, Gandharvas, Maharshis, Gandevs, Patia, Keenan and Mani Patia all arrived at Mount Kailash and started celebrating the wedding by dancing and learning. After some time, the learned Shiva devotee, who was in the service of Daksha, came and bowed down to Lord Shankar on the ground and started praying while praising him, Lord Shankar accepted Nandi's prayer and made him the ruler of his first gang. Yagya was being organised by Daksha and Shiva was not allowed to do so. Daksha was developing a divine feeling towards Lord Shankar. Once he organised a huge Yagya in which Indra, the main deity, Brahma, Devasi, Brahmins, sages, Yakshas, Gandharvas, ancestors, demons, men and mountains were also created, but due to being abroad, Shiva and his wife Sati were not invited. Lord Vishnu prayed for the protection of this Yagya and sacrificed them too. Maheshwar Maharshi Dadhi ji told the greatness of Shiva to Daksha. Mahapati and Ji were present in the Yagya and they performed the Yagya. Without giving Shiva's share, he tried to make Lakshya Prajapati understand and said that a yajna performed without the rituals of Shiva is not fruitful. Just as a sentence devoid of meaning is devoid of Vedic knowledge, Sonia is devoid of Brahmin and Gadha, similarly, without the feeling, a woman's family life without a son is useless, just as the sky of a poor man is filled with the air, just as some different evening offerings of sesame seeds, even if devoid of air, bear fruit, in that way auspicious and fruitless offerings are of different kinds. Hearing these words of Nadi Ji, the chairman himself became angry and said to his followers, take this Brahmin away from here. Manish Shrestha Dadi Ji also left his gathering. Goddess Sati has to go to her father's yajna. Meanwhile, Narad Ji used to visit Lord Shankar. Daksh Prajapati started encouraging her to go to the yajna. Lord Shankar agreed to go for himself and his beloved Sati, then Narad Ji encouraged Goddess Sati to go. After listening to Narad Ji, Sati made up her mind to go to her father's yajna. Even though the Panch tried to convince her not to go, Sati was determined to go. In order to show her power to Lord Shankar, Sati displayed her fierce form, seeing which Shiva ran away and looked in all the four directions. At that very moment, 10 Mahavidyas appeared in all the ten directions through Bhagwati Jagadamba. Bhagwati also described the glory and worship of these 10 Mahavidyas. In a short while, 10 Mahavidyas became divine. Lord Shiva, impressed by Sati, granted her a unique permission to go. Sati reached the yajna of her father Adhyaksha and first met her mother Prajapati. Mother respected Sati and spoke to her in a harsh tone. After meeting her mother, Sati turned towards her father Lakshya Prajapati. Hearing her slander of her husband Lord Shiva and seeing her participation in the yajna, he became extremely angry and assumed the form of a demon. All the gods present there and even her divine powers became frightened.
