शिव पार्वती का विवाह उत्सव भगवती पार्वती हिमावन के घर में रहकर बाल चित्र कीड़ा करती हुई विभिन्न लीलाओं से हिमालय और मेघा हुआ नंदित करने लगी धीरे-धीरे हुए बढ़ने लगी तथा विवाह के योग भी हो गई एक दिन नारद मुनि हिमालय के पास आए उन्होंने भगवान शंकर की महिमा का वर्णन करते हुए सती पूर्वक इतिहास हिमावन में बताया था भगवान शंकर से पार्वती का पानी ग्रहण करने की प्रेरणा दी भगवान शंकर हिमालय पर्वत पर तपस्या मिश्रा लगा थी भगवती पार्वती ने भगवान सदा शिव को पति रूप में प्राप्त करने के लिए हिमालय के शिखर पर तपस्या के लिए पहुंच गए उन दिनों तारकासुर नामक एक राक्षस से सभी देवता पीड़ित हो रहे थे इसके वाद के लिए सभी देवता चिंतित थे उसे राक्षस को ब्रह्मा विष्णु महेश तीनों में कोई नहीं मार सकता था ब्रह्मा जी ने बताया कि शंकर जी का पुत्र ही उसे मार सकता है अतः भगवान शंकर का विवाह इसी प्रकार भगवती पार्वती से हो जाए इसका उपाय करना चाहिए अतः देव राजेंद्र अनीता पासवान भगवान शंकर को मोहित करने के लिए कामदेव की आदेश दिया कामदेव बसंत रितु और अपनी स्त्री राती के साथ भगवान शिव के आश्रम में प्रवेश कर गई जिससे उसे आश्रम में सभी प्राणी कामवासना से मोहित हो गए परंतु भगवान शंकर का ध्यान का चित्र भी विचलित नहीं हुआ कामदेव के विशेष प्रयास करने पर भगवान शंकर के तीसरे नेत्र निकली अग्नि से साहस कामदेव को भस्म कर दिया तदनंतर परामर्श भगवती ने सदाशिव की साक्षात्कार हुआ शिव के निवेदन करने पर भगवती ने अपने यह भयंकर स्वरूप का दर्शन करने जो प्रजापति दक्ष की यज्ञ की नस के लिए उन्होंने धारण किया था वह स्वरूप का दर्शन कर भगवान सदाशिव अभिभूत होकर भूमि पर लेट गए और भगवती के चरण कमल को अपने हृदय पर धारण कर उन्हें सहस्त्रनाम के द्वारा भगवती का स्थानवा किया भगवती ने भी प्रसन्न होकर सदाशिव से कहा कि मैं आपके पति रूप में प्राप्त करने के लिए गिरिजा के यहां पुत्री रूप में प्रभु हुई हूं इसके बाद महादेव तथा पार्वती दोनों एक दूसरे को पति पत्नी रूप में प्राप्त करने के लिए 3000 वर्ष तक तपस्या में संलग्न हो गई तदनंतर भगवान शंकर से मार्केट आपकी शब्द ऋषि विवाह का प्रस्ताव लेकर हिमालय के पास भेजा हनुमान सप्त ऋषि मिलकर अत्यंत प्रशांत हुए और भगवान सदाशिव के अपनी पुत्री पार्वती को पत्नी रूप में प्रदान करने के लिए संघर्ष सहमत हो गए कुछ ही समय बाद गिरजा के घर में संसार का आनंद वर्धन करने वाला पार्वती विवाह महोत्सव आरंभ हो गया विवाह उत्सव में देवताओं गंधर्व और कीनन को साथ दिए देवराज इंद्र लोकप्रिय ब्रह्मा महर्षि वशिष्ठ भगवान विष्णु सरस्वती और लक्ष्मी के साथ वहां पहुंच गए इस अवसर पर अपने पति के प्रयोग से व्याधि प्रीति के द्वारा अपने पति कामदेव को न जीवन प्राप्त करने की प्रार्थना करने पर देवताओं तथा ब्रह्मा जी भगवान शंकर के कामदेव को पुनर्जीवित करने का मासिक अनुरोध किया प्राण तजनों पर कृपा करने वाले भगवान शंकर को कामदेव को फिर से शरीर की प्राप्ति कर दिया विवाह की तैयारी पूर्ण हो जाने पर सुंदर चंद्रमा को अपने मस्तक पर धारण करने वाले ब्रिज ध्वज भगवान शिव ने सभी देवता मुनीश्वरों और कीनन के साथ गिरजा गिरिराज हिमालय के पूर्व के लिए प्रस्थान की सुंदर मुहूर्त में गिरजा राज की माला को पार्वती का पूजन करके वैवाहिक विधि से उन्हें सदाशिव प्रदान कर दिया और प्रसन्न मन शुभ ने जगत का सृजन पालन तथा संघार करने वाली उसे हिमालय पुत्री पार्वती का पति रूप में पाणिग्रहण किया इस प्रकार महादेव के साथ पार्वती का विवाह संपन्न होने पर देवताओं का मनोरथ पूर्ण हो गया और ब्रह्मा सभी देवता अपने-अपने स्थान को चले गए यह मलाई की प्रार्थना पर भगवान शंकर हिमालय पर्वत पर सम नगर का निर्माण कर भगवती पार्वती के साथ रहने लगे

Marriage Celebration of Shiva Parvati Goddess Parvati, while staying in the house of Himavan, started making child pictures and delighting the Himalayas and clouds with various pastimes, gradually her height started increasing and the possibility of marriage also arose. One day Narad Muni came to the Himalayas, describing the glory of Lord Shankar, he told the history of Sati in Himavan, inspired Parvati to accept water from Lord Shankar. Lord Shankar was engaged in penance on the Himalayan mountain. Goddess Parvati reached the peak of the Himalayas for penance to get Lord Sada Shiva as her husband. In those days, all the gods were suffering from a demon named Tarakasura. All the gods were worried about this. None of the three, Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, could kill the demon. Brahma Ji told that only Shankar Ji's son can kill him, hence a solution should be found for Lord Shankar to get married to Goddess Parvati in this way. Therefore, Dev Rajendra Anita Paswan ordered Kamadev to fascinate Lord Shankar. Kamadev entered Lord Shiva's ashram with Basant Ritu and his wife Rati, due to which all the creatures in the ashram were fascinated by lust. But even the image of Lord Shankar's meditation was not disturbed. On special efforts of Kamadeva, the fire that came out of the third eye of Lord Shankar burnt Kamadeva to ashes. After that, Bhagwati met Sadashiv on Shiva's request. On Shiva's request, Bhagwati showed her fierce form which she had assumed for the sacrifice of Prajapati Daksha. On seeing that form, Lord Sadashiv was overwhelmed and lay down on the ground and keeping Bhagwati's feet on his heart, he worshipped Bhagwati by reciting Sahasranaam. Bhagwati also became happy and told Sadashiv that I have taken birth as a daughter of Girija to get you as my husband. After this, both Mahadev and Parvati engaged in penance for 3000 years to get each other as husband and wife. After that, Hanuman sent the proposal of marriage to Lord Shankar near the Himalayas. The Sapta Rishis became extremely calm after meeting and agreed to give their daughter Parvati as wife to Lord Sadashiv. After some time, the Parvati marriage festival which increased the joy of the world started in Girja's house. In the marriage festival, gods Gandharva and Keenan accompanied Devraj Indra, popular Brahma Maharishi Vashishtha, Lord Vishnu, Saraswati and Lakshmi reached there. On this occasion, when Preeti prayed to revive her husband Kamadeva due to the disease caused by her husband, the gods and Brahma ji requested Lord Shankar to revive Kamadeva. Lord Shankar, who is kind to those who have given up their lives, gave Kamadeva his body again. After the marriage preparations were completed, Lord Shiva, who wears the beautiful moon on his head, along with all the gods, sages and Keenan, left for the east of Girja Giriraj Himalaya. In the auspicious muhurta, after worshipping Parvati, gave Sadashiv to Girjaraj with the garland of Girjaraj, as her husband, and with a happy heart, Shubh accepted Parvati, daughter of Himalaya, who creates, sustains and destroys the world, as her husband. Thus, after the marriage of Parvati with Mahadev was completed, the wishes of the gods were fulfilled and Brahma and all the gods left for their respective places. On the request of Malai, Lord Shankar built the city of Sam on the Himalayan mountain and started living with Goddess Parvati.
