कार्तिकेय का प्रदोष प्रभाव तारकासुर के अत्याचार से पीड़ित पृथ्वी गाय का रूप धारण करके देवताओं के साथ ब्रह्मा जी के पास आई और उसने अपनी व्यथा सुनाई ब्रह्मा जी ने देवताओं को बताया कि शिव के देश से उत्पन्न बालक से ही तारकासुर का वध हो सकेगा किंतु यदि पार्वती के गर्व से पुत्र उत्पन्न होगा तो वह देवता तथा असुर दोनों का विनाश कर देगा अतः किसी अन्य स्थान में शिव के देश से पुत्र उत्पन्न हो या चेष्टा करने चाहिए वासुदेव के प्रयास से शिव को तेज करती वहां स्थापित हुआ परंतु वह उसे सहन नहीं कर सके कृतिका होने उसे तेज को कास्ट कोष में रखकर गड़ा जी की प्रभावित कर दिया उसे कास्ट कोष में ब्रह्मा जी निकाल कर अपने स्थान पर ले गए इस कॉस्ट कोष में अश्वनी मास की पूर्णिमा तिथि को ब्रह्मलोक में 12 भुज 12 नेत्रों और छह मुख्याओं से युक्त तारकासुर के पुत्र महाबली शिव पुत्र का जन्म हुआ ब्रह्मा जी बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होंने कहा कि शिवजी का यह पुत्र कृतिकाओं से उत्पन्न होने के कारण कार्तिकेय नाम से विख्यात होगा क्योंकि वह कार्तिकाएं संख्या में चाय कही गई है तथा इसका नाम आणविक पुत्र भी होगा लोक में यह इसका देखने में ही विख्यात होगा तारकासुर का संघार करने के कारण इसका नाम तार वेरी भी प्रसिद्ध होगा इस प्रकार जिसमें अध्ययन में कार्तिकेय के जन्म की कथा संपन्न हुई 21 में अध्याय से 34 में अध्याय तक तारकासुर के वक्त की कथा तारकासुर वध देवताओं की विशेष आगरा करने पर ब्रह्मा जी कार्तिकेय को तारकासुर वध की प्रेरणा की कार्तिकेय तथा तारकासुर में भीषण संग्राम हुआ और अंत में कार्तिकेय जी ने शक्ति प्रहार से तारकासुर का वध हो गया उसे भाई नित्य के मारे जाने से देवता गंधर्व और किन्नर गानों महान वर्ष व्याप्त हुआ सभी प्रसन्न हो गए और भगवान कार्तिकेय की वंदना करने लगी इसके बाद ही ब्रह्मा जी ने भगवान शिव तथा जगमता पार्वती कार्तिकेय का परिचय कराया तथा कार्तिकेय को बताया कि तुम शिव पार्वती के ही पुत्र हो भगवान शंकर तथा माता पार्वती भी बड़े हर्ष उल्लास से पुत्र उत्सव मनाया गणेश जन्मोत्सव की कथा अध्याय 35 में गणेश जी के जन्म का वृतांत भगवान विष्णु ही गजानन के रूप में पार्वती पुत्र हुए एक बार भगवान महेश्वर उमा को घर में छोड़कर अपने प्रथम गानों के साथ वन में पुष्प लाने गए इधर भगवती गौरी अपने शरीर में हल्दी का उपचार लगाकर स्ट्रांग को जाने के लिए उदित हुए भगवान विष्णु की पूर्व प्रार्थना का स्मरण करके अपने शरीर पर लगे हरदा उपादान का कुछ चांस लेकर उन्होंने एक पुत्र निर्माण किया प्रसन्नता पूर्वक उसे अपना दूध पिलाई हुए भगवती ने कहा पुत्र जबकि मैं नहा कर ना लौटी तब तक तुम मेरी इस नगर की रक्षा करना इस बीच भगवान शंकर भगवान से लौटकर नगर द्वारा पर आ गए बालक के रोकने पर शु प्राणी भगवान शिव ने त्रिशूल से उसका बालक का मस्ताक्स क्षेत्र कर दिया उसे समय पार्वती स्थान से लौट आए उन्होंने गणेश जी की जीवित किंतु सिर विहीन देखकर महादेव से पूछा कि मेरे इस द्वारा रक्षा पुत्र की ऐसी दशा किसने की भगवान शंकर ने कहा कि मुझे ज्ञात नहीं था कि यह मेरा यह तुम्हारा पुत्र है फिर उन्होंने कब्रिस्तान बता दिया तद्नतर सर का पता लगाने के लिए भगवान शंकर जंगल में गए और वहां उत्तर की और सिर करके सोए हुए एक हाथी का मस्तक काट कर बालक की जीवन पर स्थापित किया दिया तब से बालक का नाम गजानन हो गया इस प्रकार दो पुत्रों के संबंध में शिव पार्वती इसने से कैलाश था काशीपुर में बिहार करने लगी अध्याय 36 से लेकर अध्याय 38 तक बिस्तर में श्री राम प्रखंड या रामायण की कथा सारणी रूपम इसके द्वारा अंश में देवी की आराधना के द्वारा श्री राम के सर्वस्त्र विजई होने एवं भगवान श्री राम की सहायता के लिए भगवान शंकर के द्वारा पवन पुत्र हनुमान के रूप में प्रकट होकर निरंतर सहयोग करने का वर्णन है श्री राम अप खान महामुनि धारा तथा भगवान महादेव का संवाद चल रहा था नारद जी ने महादेव जी से पूछा कि भगवान विष्णु ने पृथ्वी पर मनुष्य में अवतार लेकर आज समय पर हमें भगवत आराधना की रूप में किया इस उत्तर देते हुए महादेव कहते हैं कि प्राचीन कथा में तिलों की जान भगवती की प्रार्थना करके दशहरायण उसकी कृपा से इतनी उदासी विजय हो गया रावण ने भक्ति भक्ति भाव से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान भगवती जगदंबा उसकी राजधानी लड़का में उसे विजय प्रधान करते हुए निवास करने लगे इसके परिणाम स्वरुप पृथ्वी तथा इंद्र आदि सभी देवता अत्यंत स्रावित हुए गए तथा सभी ने ब्रह्मा जी के साथ विष्णु भगवान से प्रार्थना किया कि तब भगवान विष्णु ने राजा दशरथ के यहां पुत्र रूप में जन्म लेकर भाषण दिया तब अंतर ब्रह्मा और विष्णु का इलाज गया और वहां भगवान शंकर के साथ तीनों में भवानी जगदंबा का इस्तेमाल किया भगवती ने प्रसन्न होकर विष्णु के द्वारा मनीष स्वरूप में रावण के विनाश का आश्वासन दिया तथा रावण पर विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए उपाय रूप में अपनी उपासना की प्रक्रिया बताएं तथा यह भी कहना कि जब वह अपने योगिनियों के साथ लड़का का त्याग कर देगी तभी रावण का वध हो सकेगा इस प्रकार भगवती जगदंबा की कृपा से भगवान विष्णु ने राम अवतार लेकर वह हमरो की सहायता से भीषण युद्ध करते हुए रावण का संघार किया

Brahma ji was very happy and he said that this son of Shiva, born from Krittikas, will be famous by the name Kartikeya because the number of Kartikas is said to be ten and his name will also be Anumu Putra. In the world, it is only by seeing him that he is born. It will be famous for killing Tarakasura, due to which its name will also be famous as Tara Veeri. Then Lord Vishnu took birth as a son in the house of King Dasharatha and gave a speech. Then Brahma and Vishnu went to the treatment center and there along with Lord Shankar, Bhavani Jagdamba was used among the three. Bhagwati, pleased, assured the destruction of Ravana in the form of Manish through Vishnu and gave victory over Ravana.
