हिमालय और मैं की तपस्या से प्रसन्न हो आप शक्ति का पार्वती नाम से हिमालय की यहां प्रगट होना और उन्हें दिव्या विज्ञान योग का उपदेश प्रदान करना भगवती गीता का प्रारंभ नारद जी बोले महादेव परमेश्वरी सती जिस प्रकार अपने पूर्ण अवतार में पार्वती रूप से मेनका के गर्भ में आई उसे कथा को कृपा पूर्वक बताएं परमेश्वर यद्यपि उन जगदंबा के जन्म कर्म आदि की कथा अनेक पुराणों में सुनी गई है तथा ज्ञात भी है यद्यपि उसे माया से अच्छी तरह सुनना चाहत क्योंकि आप इस वृत्तांत को ठीक-ठीक जानते हैं महामति महादेव इसलिए कृपा कर विस्तार पूर्वक वह कथा कहे श्री महादेव जी बोले मनीष श्रेष्ठ गिरिजा राज और उसकी पत्नी मीना ने तिलक आत्मा सनातनी और ब्रह्म रूप ने दुर्गा देवी की महान उग्र तपस्या करके उन्हें पुत्र रूप से पानी की प्रार्थना की थी भगवान शिव ने भी सती के वीर से दुखी होकर उन्हें प्राप्त करने का अनुरोध किया था अतः ब्रह्म रूप की जगदंबा का स्वयं में ना कि गर्भ से आई तदांतर देवी में नहाने शुभ दिन में कमल के समान मुख वाली सुंदर प्रभाव वाली जगदंबा भगवती को पुत्र रूपी से जन्म दिया मुनिवर उसे समय सर्वत्र उसे पर दृष्टि होने लगी दास ऑन दिशाओं में प्रकाश फैल गया और सुगंधित वायु बढ़ने लगी जब पर्वत राज सुना कि उनके यहां सुंदर कन्या ने जन्म लिया जो करोड़ों मध्यन्हकालीन सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी तीन नेत्रों वाली दिव्य स्वरुप बड़ी-बड़ी आंखों वाली आठ भुजाओं से युक्त और मस्तक पर अर्धचंद्र को धारण किया है तो उन्हें जान लिया कि सुषमा पर प्राकृतिक नहीं अपनी लीला से उनके यहां "ग्रहण किया है मनी उन्होंने हर्षित होकर ब्राह्मणों को प्रचुर्धार वस्त्र और हजार दूध गावे प्रधान के तट पश्चात हुए बंधु बंदों सिगरेट से ही कन्या को देखने पहुंचे गिरिराज को आया जानकर मीणा ने उनसे कहा राजन अपनी कमल नैनी पुत्री को अच्छी यह हम दोनों की तपस्या का फल है और सभी प्राणियों के कल्याण हेतु प्रकट हुए हैं तब गिरिराज ने भी कन्या को देखकर उसे जगदंबिका के रूप में जाना भूमि पर शेर झुकाकर प्रणाम करते हुए हाथ जोड़कर भक्ति पूर्वक गड़बड़ ऑनेस्ट हुए देवी से कहने लगे हिमालय बोल माता विशाल अच्छी इस विलक्षण विचित्र रूप में आप कौन हैं पुत्री मैंने आपको नहीं जान पा रहा हूं मुझे दावत अपना वृतांत बताएं श्रीदेवी बोली परमेश्वर शिव की आश्रित मुझे पराशक्ति समझो मैं सारी सृष्टि का संचालन करती हूं तथा सकस्वत ज्ञान और ऐश्वर्या की मूर्ति हूं मन ही ब्रह्मा विष्णु और महेश आदि की जन्मदातरी हूं और सृष्टि स्थिति विनाश का विधान करने वाली मुक्ति दाहिनी जगदंबिका हूं मैं सब की अंतरात्मा से रूप में स्थित हूं और संसार समुद्र से उधर करने वाली हूं मुझे नित्यानंद में ब्रह्म रूप नित्य माहेश्वरी समझो रात तुम दोनों की तपस्या से संतुष्ट होकर मैं अपने लीला से तुम्हारी पुत्री बनाकर तुम्हारे घर में जन्म लिया है तुम बहुत भाग्यशाली हो हिमालय बोल माता अपने नित्य होकर भी कृपा पूर्वक मेरी घर में पुत्री रूप में जन्म लिया है यह मेरे अनेक जन्मों में किए प्राणियों का ही फल तथा इसे मैं अपना सौभाग्य मानता हूं मैं आपका यह रूप देख लिया अब आप पर आप तत्व भगवती का दिव्य शिव प्रिया रूप मुझे कृपा पूर्वक सीख रही दिखाएं बिंदेश्वरी आपको नमस्कार है श्रीदेवी बोली पिताजी मैं आपको दिव्या चाचू प्रदान करती हूं जिसने मेरे यह सॉरी शैली रूप के दर्शन कर आप अपने हृदय का संयम मिटा दीजिए और मुझे ही सर्व देवी मैं समझी श्री महा देव जी बोले ऐसा कह कर गिरिराज हिमावन को दिव्या दृष्टि प्रदान कर जगदंबा ने अपने अलौकिक महेश्वर रूप के दर्शन कराए उनका यह ज्योति मैं रूप करोड़ चंद्रमाओं की प्रभाव से युक्त था उसके मस्तक पर अर्धचंद्र की सुंदर लेख विराजमान थी उनके हाथ में श्रेष्ठ त्रिशूल और मस्तक पर जताए सुशोभित हो रही थी हजारों कल आघरिया की आभा के समान उनका रूप भयानक आरोग्य था उसके पांच मुख और तीन नेत्र थे तथा उन्होंने सर्वो का योग्य पर निर्धारण कर रहा था इस प्रकार व्याघ्र चर्म को धारण किए हुए तथा श्रेष्ठ सांपों की आभूषण से सुशोभित उसके उसे रूप को देखकर हिमावन बड़े चकित हुए तब उनके मां मीणा ने कहा कि मुझे अपना दूसरा रूप दिखाएं तब जगदंबा ने अपनी उसे महेश्वर रूप को प्रायोजित करके दक्षिण दूसरा रूप प्रकट किया मुनीश्रेष्ठ तक उन संत नई ₹20 जगदंबा की आभा सरताल के चंद्रमा के समान थी सुंदर मुकुट से उनके मस्तक प्रकाशमान था वह हाथों में सॉन्ग चक्र गदा एवं पद धारण किए हुए थे उनके तीन सुंदर नेत्र थे उनके दिव्य वस्त्र माला और गांड लेपन धारण कर रहे थे कोई योगी इंद्र से वह नहीं थे उनके चरण कमल आती है सुंदर थे तथा अपने हाथ पैर हाथ मुख सेल अतिथि विग्रह से हुए सभी दिशाओं को प्राप्त किए हुए थे किस प्रकार के परम अदिति उसे रूप को देखकर हिमावन ने अपनी कन्या को पुनः प्रणाम किया और विश्व में पूर्ण विकसित नेत्रों से उन्हें देखते हुए हुए बोले
