श्री महादेव जी बोले देवराज इंद्र की इस प्रकार की बात सुनकर कामदेव ने पितामह ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मा द्वारा दिया हुआ और शराब इसे वह भूल गया था उसका गुण स्मरण किया या ब्रह्मा जी अपनी श्री संध्या का अनुगमन कर रहे थे उसे समय मैं अपने सहस्त्र परीक्षा के लिए अपने उसको पहाड़ों से उन पर प्रहार किया था तब उन्होंने मुझे यह श्राप दिया था मनोभाव जब आप देवताओं के कार्य के लिए उन लोगों के अनुरोध पर बालों से भगवान शंकर के समीप प्रहार करेगा तब उसके नेत्रों से निकली अग्नि आपको ज्वाला डालेगी मेरी शराब का वही समय आ गया है जिसका निवारण करना कठिन है कोई भी व्यक्ति प्रभा बांध का उल्लंघन करने में समर्थ नहीं है मनी ब्रह्मा जी की इस रात को भी यादगार दुखी होते हुए भी कामदेव बिंद्रा की बात को पूर्व में अधिकार कर लेने के कारण अन्यथा कुछ नहीं कर सके उन्होंने कहा देवराज जो आपने कहा है उसे मैं करूंगा और या तम्मा परम योगी भगवान शंकर को मोहित करुंगा किंतु प्रभु कुरूद होकर यदि भगवान महादेव मुझे नष्ट कर दे तब संपूर्ण देवताओं की साथ मेरे लिए प्रयत्न कीजिए देवराज इंद्र ने भी उनको बार-बार आश्वासन देते हुए कहा है कि मैं सभी देवताओं के साथ आपके लिए प्रयत्न करूंगा तदांतर देवराज की आज्ञा की रति और बसंत के साथ कामदेव सीख रही भगवान शंकर के तपोवन में पहुंच गए इंद्र ने सभी देवताओं को भी आदेश दिया कि मेरी आज्ञा से आप लोग भी शीघ्र ही वहां चले जाएंगे मेरी यह बात मन करे रामदेव देवताओं का कार्य संपन्न करने हेतु भगवान शिव को मोहित करने का कठिन कार्य करेगा यह कामदेव जिस जिस स्थान पर जाएगा आप लोग उनकी सहायता करें और वहां इनका अनुभव करते हुए मुझे समय सावधान कर दें जिससे कि जब वह कामदेव पति तेजस्वी भगवान महारुद्र को अपने सम्मोहन नमक बाढ़ से मोहित करना आरंभ करें तब मैं नहीं की रक्षा करने के लिए वहां आ जाऊंगा देवराज इंद्र के इस प्रकार कहने पर भी सभी देवता कामदेव की रक्षा करने के लिए एक साथ उसके पीछे-पीछे चल दिए मुनि कामदेव वसंत ऋतु और अपनी पत्नी रति के साथ महादेव भगवान शिव के आश्रम में प्रवेश कर मुझे समय के लिए स्थित हो गए किंतु सबको मोहित करने वाले कामदेव ने ऐसा कोई अवसर नहीं पाया जिससे कि वह उनके शरीर में प्रवेश कर सके मुनिश्रेष्ठ बसंत ऋतु के आगमन से पलाश केसर आदि तथा अन्य भी बहुत से ब्रिज पुष्पित हो उठे इस ऋतु में आने के मलिक मल्टी जाती युवा और मल्टी लताओं में फूल खिल उठे और सरोवर में कमल खिलने लगे पुष्पों पर मेड्रिड हुए भवरा के झुंड मधुर स्वर में पूजा करते हुए काम के प्रवास के परंपरा बिहार करते हुए मौत की उठे मत्स्य परिवर्तन से उत्पन्न सेल माता सुशोभित हवा भरने लगी तथा चंद्रमा क्रांति युक्त हो गया और सभी प्राणी प्रबंध होते तपस्या से सरलाभ में सिद्ध गाना कम से मोहित हो गए तथा किन्नारती भी उसी प्रकार श्रृंगार रस में डूब गए मनी श्रेष्ठ इस वन में निवास करने वाले जो अन्य प्राणी थे वह सभी कामवासना से मोहित होकर बेचैनी हो गए महेश्वर भगवान शंकर के गढ़ भी विकराल युक्त हो गए लेकिन भगवान शंकर ध्यान के स्थित भी भंग नहीं हुए विशाल भगवान शंकर को देखकर हर जीत कामदेव धनुष उठाने हुए जैसे ही आगे बढ़ेगी रति ने उन्हें रोक लिया और कहा जलते हुए का लगने के समान करोड़ सूर्य की तरह क्रांति मन जोगी निष्ठा भगवान विधि ईश्वर के सम्मुख जाने में कौन समर्थ है कामदेव ने ऐसा सुनकर इंद्र की कही बात को स्वीकार करने का स्मरण करके भगवान शिव को संबोधित करने हेतु वरना सुधार धनुष पर चढ़ाई उसे समय पुत्र अवतार भगवान शंकर को देखकर वह पुणे पीछे हट गया इस प्रकार भगवान शंकर को सम्मिलित करने में की फॉलोअर्स कामदेव को देखकर माता महेश्वरी मुस्कान भगवान शिव को मोहित करने के लिए उपस्थित हुए जिनके द्वारा यह संपूर्ण जगत मोहित किया जाता है पूरे महामाया अपने साथियों के साथ उठकर भगवान रुद्र के सामने जाकर जब स्थित हो गई तब भगवान त्रिलोचन महादेव ने ध्यान छोड़कर अपने सुंदर मित्रों खोलकर उन पार्वती को देखा प्रशांत आत्मक महात्मा भगवान शंकर नैनों से सुसु देखकर की मुकम्मल में किस्मत दृष्टि से देखते हुए स्थित हो गए इस समय निष्कल नैनो वाले भगवान चंद्रशेखर को देखकर पुष्पा ध्वज कामदेव पुष्प वहां का संसाधन करते हुए भगवान शंकर के समय पहुंच गए इंद्र देवताओं के मुख से उचित अवसर उपस्थित होने की बात सुनकर वहां गए और सभी देवताओं के साथ अपने रथ पर गगन मंडल में स्थित हो गए कामदेव ने अपने हर्षित नमक प्रथम माह से भगवान शंकर के वासी स्तर पर प्रहार किया उत्तर प्रफुल्लित होकर उन्होंने जब माता पार्वती को देखा उसी समय कामदेव की सहायता करने की हवा भरने लगी और भगवान शंकर के हृदय में श्रृंगार रस का प्रतिभा हुआ सपना कामदेव ने फूल माला से सुसज्जित सम्मोहन नमक बाढ़ से पुष्पा धनुष पर चढ़कर संसाधन किया उसे समय उसकी परम सुंदरी पत्नी रति उनके देने भाग में प्रति नमक प्रति वह हम भाग में तथा सुखदायक ऋतुराज बसंत पृष्ठ भाग में स्थित हो गया सभी देवताओं के देखते-देखते हर्षित कामदेव ने जगत को मोहित करने वाली बाढ़ से भगवान महेश्वर के हृदय में प्रहार किया संपूर्ण विश्वास पर मोहित करने वाले उसे बाहर से आकृति जितेंद्र अधिकारी भगवान शंकर के समागम करने के लिए शुभ हो गए तभी सभी देवताओं ने कामदेव की बार-बार प्रशंसा की तीनों लोक में इन कामदेव के लिए कुछ भी असाध्याय नहीं है तब विश्वेश्वर भगवान शंकर स्मरण पूर्वक इंद्रियां निगराकर के सोचने लगी कि इसका विकार कारण क्या है इस बीच पितामह ब्रह्मा ने वहां जाकर कामदेव उसके पुष्पा में धनुष बाण उसकी चेतना शक्ति ऋतुराज बसंत को हटा दिया था वह अपना अपने स्थान पर लौट आए कामदेव ने ही मेरा अतिक्रमण किया है ऐसा मन में विचार करके कल नल के समान नेत्रों वाले भगवान रुद्र को क्रोध से जल उठे तदांतर क्रोध से ताकते हुए उनके तीसरे नेत्रों से भी सड़क ने प्रकट हुए मानव वह संपूर्ण संसार को जला डालेगी खुशी अग्नि को प्रकट हुआ देखकर डरे हुए सभी देवता कामदेव की रक्षा के लिए महादेव के प्रति जोर-जोर से चिल्लाने लगे प्रभु शिव जगन्नाथ इस कामदेव की रक्षा कीजिये रक्षा कीजिए जिस प्रकार अपने उसे नियुक्त किया उन्होंने वैसा ही किया है कामदेव आप प्रसन्न हो और हमारी हितेषी कामदेव की रक्षा करें मनीष श्रेष्ठ किस प्रकार उन देवताओं के खाने रहने पर श्री भगवान शंकर की तिथि नेत्र से निकली अग्नि ने साहस के कामदेव की भस्म सट्टा कर दिया इस प्रकार श्री महा भागवत महापुराण के अंतर्गत शिव नारद संवाद में कामदेव भस्मी भवन नामक अध्याय पूर्ण हुआ
