श्री महादेव जी बोले उन मुनि श्रेष्ठ के चले जाने पर महीना के साथ गिरिराज हिमालय ने निश्चित रूप से समझ लिया कि पर्वती पुणे भगवान शंकर की अर्धांगिनी होगी मनी इसी बीच भगवान शंकर अपने पुराने स्थान को छोड़कर दुकान तपस्या करने के लिए हिमालय पर्वत के शिखर पर चले गए प्राचीन काल में ब्रह्मलोक से जाकर जहां गधा सूअर स्वयं अवतरित हुए थे वहां परम योगी भगवान विशेश्वर पूर्ण ब्रह्म की ध्यान पारायण होकर समाधि के आनंद में लीन हो गए उन भगवान शंकर की इस प्रकार ध्यान मग्न हो जाने पर मनीष श्रेष्ठ प्रथम गण वहां ध्यान करने लगे कुछ उनकी सेवा में लग गए और अन्य गांव उसके कुछ दूसरी परिस्थित हो गए प्रथम गढ़ फल उसे पर सुनते हुए और नाचते गाते हुए आपस में उत्सुकता पूर्वक गेरूआडू को बताकर प्रतिदिन खेलते थे एक बार सभी गंधर्व और किन्नर भगवान शंकर को आया हुआ देखकर महात्मा गिरिराज ने कहने लगे प्रभु गिरी चंद आपके सिर पर समस्त प्रथम गानों के साथ भगवान महेश्वर तपस्या करने के लिए आए हैं चंद्रलेखा को मस्तक पर धारण करने वाले योगी जटाधारी तथा महात्मा हुए भगवान शिव ऊष्मा कल में प्रस्थान नगर के समीप तारे हैं ध्यान निष्ठा और सेवा पारायण बहुत से प्रथम गढ़ भी उसके निकट स्थित है उनके अन्य कर्म सेवा गाना कुछ दूरी पर नाचते गाते खेलते और हंसते रहते हैं उनमें से कुछ दिगंबर है तो कुछ बात चरण पहने हुए हैं सभी पूजा वाला भस्म तथा मस्तक पर जाता मुकुट धारण किए हुए हैं पर्वत राज भूतनाथ भगवान शंकर का ऐश्वर्या अद्भुत है महाराज एक बार आप स्वयं चलकर उन्हें मन भर कर देख लीजिए पर्वतों के अधिपति हिमावन कुंज लोगों की इस बात को सुनकर वहां गए जहां भगवान विशेश्वर कठिन तपस्या कर रहे थे उसके बाद ही मावन ने भक्ति पूर्वक भगवान शंकर की पूजा की भगवान शंकर ने उसे भी उसकी पूजा आधार के साथ ग्रहण की अंतर विधि पूर्वक उचित भगवान शंकर ने पर्वतराज को प्रसन्न करते हुए कहा महाराज आपके पूर्ण में निर्जन शिखर पर समस्त प्रथम गानों के साथ में तात्पर्य करने आया हूं पूर्ण आत्मा गिरिराज आप अपने राज्य में वैसे व्यवस्था करें जिससे कोई भी व्यक्ति मेरे निकट कभी भी ना आ सके सवाग्य से तपस्या की हानि होती है इसलिए सुधार निश्चय ही योगी जान यह काम एकांत स्थान पर निवास करते हैं जिससे सामना हो सके उधर अपने मुनियों एक्सन की तारों देवताओं राक्षसों की जातियों की अक्षय है धर्म विद्युत आप सभी के व्यवहार जानते हैं महामति आप धाम यज्ञ है मैं आपसे अधिक क्या कहूं वह महेश्वर गिरिराज से इतना कह कर चुप हो गए उसके स्थिर हो जाने पर गिरिराज ने नम्रता और प्रतिपूर्वक भगवान शिव से कहा देवाधि देव जगन्नाथ आप मेरे सौभाग्य से ही आए हैं ब्रह्म आदि देवताओं के द्वारा भी मेरे शिखर पर ताप करना दुर्लभ है जगदीश्वर इस निर्जन स्थान पर आप यथा चेस्ट तप करने में समर्थ है साक्षात इंद्र भी मेरे सामान नहीं है क्योंकि आप अपने घरों के साथ अपनी तपस्या की अभिलाषा पूर्ण करने के लिए यहां पधारे हैं आदरणीय हूं कृतज्ञ हो इस संसार में मुझसे अधिक कोई पुण्य वहां नहीं है क्योंकि भगवान मेरे ही शिखर पर आप तपस्या करने आए हैं प्रभु आपके निकट यहां कोई भी व्यक्ति नहीं आए महादेव आप यहां एकांत में इच्छा अनुसार तप करें
