महर्षियों द्वारा भगवान शंकर का विवाह स्वीकृति का शुभ समाचार सुनाना विवाह के लिए वैशाख शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि निश्चित होना देवर से नारद द्वारा ब्रह्मा आदि देवताओं का विवाह का निमंत्रण देना
श्री महादेव जी बोले गिरिराज का वचन सुनकर हुए महर्षि प्रसन्नचित होकर पुणे भगवान शंकर के निकट चले गए आए हुए उन महर्षियों को देखकर घबरा से हुए भगवान शंकर पूछने लगे कि यह सॉरी साली गिरिराज ने आप लोगों से क्या कहा वह मुझे शीघ्र बताएं बिलम मत कीजिए ब्राह्मणों को अपने पुत्री मुझे अपनी इच्छा से देंगे अथवा नहीं इसे पता कर मेरी मां को शांत और सुधीर कीजिए ऋषियों ने कहा देवेश गिरिराज भक्ति भाव से अपनी कन्या आपको प्रदान करेंगे इसलिए अब आप चिंता ना करें शांति जीत रहे गिरिराज ने कहा है कि उत्तम मुहूर्त देखकर जब आपकी ओर से वार्ता उन्हें भेजी जाए तब विवाह होगा श्री महादेव जी बोले पुणे शंकर भगवान ने उन श्रेष्ठ मुनियों से कहा शीघ्र दोष रहित शुभ मुहूर्त देखकर सुब्रत महात्मा गिरिराज से सीख रहे कहे यही बात सुनकर मस्जिद आदि तपोधन ऋषि ने उसके विवाह शुभ मुहूर्त निश्चित करके महेश्वर से कहा वैशाख महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को गुरुवार के दिन संतान वृद्धि के लिए आप विवाह करें सभी दोस्तों रहित या दिन अत्यांशु भाई श्रेष्ठ वर महात्मा गिरिराज से यह बात बता दीजिए इसके बाद महादेव जी ने कहा कि आप लोग नाग अधिराज के पास जाएं और कहे कि वह शुभ दिन को विधिवत अपने पुत्री मुझे प्रदान करें मैं भी देवताओं के साथ महोत्सव पूर्वक उसके पूर्व में जाऊंगा भगवान शंकर की यहां बात सुनकर यह महर्षि ने भी पुणे गिरिराज के पास जाकर शंकर के द्वारा कही गई उन्हें बताएं गिरिराज भी उनके बात सुनकर प्रसन्न होकर मंथली हो ऐसा कह कर तत्पश्चात किया था भी थी उसे महर्षि का पूजन कर उन्हें विदा कर दिए हुए लोग भी पुणे वही गए भगवान चंद्रशेखर स्थित थे और गिरिराज ने कुछ लोगों से कहा था वह भगवान शंकर को बता दीजिए तब भगवान शंकर ने उनसे कहा कि शुभ मुहूर्त में आप लोग यहां आकर मेरे साथ गिरीराजपुर में चलिए देवर्षि नारद से उन्होंने कहा तहत आप स्वयं आवाज गति वाले हैं आप हमारा एक कम कीजिए जिससे मैं इस समय आपसे कहता हूं ब्रह्मा विष्णु आदि इंद्र आदि सभी देवताओं से अलग-अलग मेरी हर स्थानी विवाह की बात कह दीजिए मुनिश्रेष्ठ मेरी यह बात उन लोगों से बता दीजिए कि मेरे विवाह के दिन सभी देव गंधर्व की नर तथा आप लोग आकर मेरी कल्याण करें तब उन नाराज जी ने कहा प्रभु जैसी आपकी आ गया हो आपकी आज्ञा के अधीन रहने वाला मैं वैसा ही करूंगा तब वह मर्जी आदि सभी महर्षि गण भगवान शंकर को प्रणाम कर अपने-अपने स्वयंवर पर जाने के लिए उस प्रार्थना पूर्वक करने लगे आप आ गया कीजिए इस समय हम लोग अपने स्थान को जाएं आपके विवाह के लिए सभी देवताओं के साथ हम लोग आए तदनंतर पत्नी के विरजन दुख से शोक संताप अत्यधिक कम पीड़ित तथा आंसुओं से लिए भगवान महादेव ने पूर्ण महामुनियों से कहा जब तक कि मैं आपकी एक मात्र प्राण और लंबा गिरिराज धनिया को पत्नी रूप में प्राप्त नहीं कर दूंगा तब तक कष्टपुर बाबूजी वन धारण करूंगा कम से जलाया जाता हूं मैं यह बात प्रतिज्ञा पूर्वक निश्चय कि आपके सम्मुख कह रहा हूं जब उन प्राण मतलब पार्वती को प्राप्त कर लूंगा तब उन देवी की सभी प्रकार से निरंतर सेवा करता रहूंगा कभी भी भूल कर जो उनको प्रिया नहीं है वैसा काम नहीं करूंगा वह देवी जहां जाएंगे मैं वही जाऊंगा मैं हूं बर्थ पारायण को कभी यादें क्षण के लिए भी नहीं छोडूंगा तबोधनों आप लोग अपने-अपने स्थान को जाइए मसीह कानून में उसकी राजकुमारी का ध्यान करता हूं स्थित रहूंगा ऐसा कह कर भगवान शंकर ने उन मुनियों को विदा कर दिया महादेव लोग भी उनको प्रणाम कर अपने-अपने स्थान पर चले गए तब देवर से नाराज सिख रही ब्रह्मा जी के पास पहुंच गए और उनसे उन्होंने भगवान शंकर के विवाह से संबंधित संपूर्ण बात बता दी श्रेष्ठ बाइकून लोक में जाकर भगवान विष्णु ने भी उसे प्रकार कहा यह सुनकर वह दोनों अत्यधिक हर्षित हो गए और मुनिश्रेष्ठ नारद जी से बोले हम दोनों अपने परिवार तथा गांव के साथ भगवान शंकर का विवाह देखना अवश्य आएंगे आप सीख रही स्वर्ग लोक में जाकर इंद्र से कह दीजिए कि वह सभी देवता सिद्ध चरण और कीनन के साथ उत्तम सहायता करने के लिए भगवान शंकर की इस विवाह में जाएंगे तदांतर उसे नाराज से भगवान विवाह के संवाद तथा उसके संबंध में दोनों के द्वारा कही गई बात इंद्र को बता दीजिए उसे सुनकर हर से प्रसन्नचित देवराज इंद्र ने भैया मार दिया कि अब निश्चित रूप से तर्क की मृत्यु हो जाएगी तदनंतर हुए भगवान शंकर की विवाह जाने के लिए तैयारी में लग गए तथा नारद भी इंद्र से पूजित होकर अपने स्थान को चले गए इस प्रकार महा भागवत महापुराण के अंतर्गत शिव महादेव नाराज संवाद में शिव विवाह ब्रह्मा आदि देव निमंत्रण नामक अध्यापक हुआ

Lord Shankar told those great sages, "Soon after finding a flawless auspicious time, Subrata Mahatma is learning from Giriraj," said, hearing this, the ascetic sage Masjid and other ascetics fixed the auspicious time for his marriage and said to Maheshwar. For increase in progeny, you should get married on Thursday on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. Tell this to Atyanshu Bhai, the best groom, Mahatma Giriraj, devoid of all friends. After this, Mahadev ji said that you all should go to Nag Adhiraj and tell him that he should give his daughter to me on an auspicious day as per the rituals. I will also go before that with the gods with a festive ceremony. After listening to Lord Shankar, this Maharishi also went to Pune Giriraj and told him what Shankar had said. Giriraj was also pleased after listening to his words and said that it should be monthly. After worshipping Maharishi, he was sent off. People also went to Pune. Lord Chandrashekhar was there and Giriraj had told some people to tell this to Lord Shankar. Then Lord Shankar told them that in the auspicious time, you all should come here and come with me to Girirajpur. He told Devrishi Narad that you yourself have the speed of sound, you do one of my tasks, so that I tell you at this time that I have proposed marriage to all the gods like Brahma, Vishnu, Indra etc. separately at every place. Please tell this to those people, great sage, tell this to them that on the day of my marriage, all the gods, Gandharvas, men and you all should come and do good to me, then that angry ji said, Lord, whatever you have decided, I will do the same being under your command, then it was as per wish etc. All the Maharishis bowed to Lord Shankar and started praying to go to their respective Swayamvar, you have come, at this time we should go to our places, we have come with all the gods for your marriage, thereafter Lord Mahadev, extremely pained by the grief of separation from his wife and filled with tears, said to the great sages that till I do not get your only life and tall Giriraj Dhaniya as my wife, till then I will stay in the forest of Kashtapur Babuji, I am burnt with a flame, I am saying this in front of you with a pledge that when I get that life i.e. Parvati, then I will continuously serve that goddess in all ways, I will never do any work by mistake which is not dear to her, wherever that goddess goes, I will go there, I am for the birth recitation I will never leave the memories even for a moment. Tabodans, you all go to your respective places. I will remain steadfast in the mind of his princess. Saying this, Lord Shankar bid farewell to those sages. The Mahadevs also bowed to them and went to their respective places. Then the sage who was angry with the brother-in-law went to Brahma ji and told him the entire story related to the marriage of Lord Shankar. Going to the best Baikun lok, Lord Vishnu also told him the same. Hearing this, both of them became very happy and said to the best sage Narad ji that both of us will definitely come to see the marriage of Lord Shankar along with our family and village. You go to the best heaven and tell Indra that all the gods will go to this marriage of Lord Shankar along with Siddha Charan and Keenan to provide best help. Thereafter tell Indra about the conversation between the brother-in-law and the marriage of Lord Shankar and what both of them said in this regard. Hearing this, the king of gods Indra, very happy with the brother-in-law, said that now definitely the argument will die. Thereafter, everyone started preparing to go to the marriage of Lord Shankar and Narad also got worshipped by Indra. They went to their place, thus in the Maha Bhagwat Mahapuran, in the angry dialogue between Shiva and Mahadev, Shiva's marriage took place and a teacher named Brahma and other gods were invited.
