ब्रह्मा विष्णु तथा रति द्वारा प्रार्थना करने पर भगवान शंकर का कामदेव को पुनः जीवित करना ब्रह्मा जी के निवेदन पर भगवान शंकर का विवाह के लिए सौम्य रूप धारण करना और बड़े उसे उल्लास के साथ शिव बारात का प्रस्थान श्री महादेव जी बोले तदांतर अपने पति के वियोग के कारण उत्पन्न व्यथा से अत्यंत व्याकुल तथा कोशिकाएं सुहानी सुंदरी कामदेव पत्नी रति इंद्र के सम्मुख आकर खड़ी हो गई और आंखों में आंसू भरकर उसे यह कहने लगी रति बोली पूर्व काल में आपके आदेश से मेरे एकमात्र प्राणप्रिया पति कामदेव शिवजी पर बढ़ चला कर इस समय भस्म हो गए थे तब दुख के कारण मुख सुंदर करती हुई आपने यह कहा था शक मत करो तुम्हारे पति को पुणे देह की प्राप्ति हो जाएगी उसे बाहर से मोहित होकर शंकर जी भी इस समय पत्नी प्राप्त कर रहे हैं और इससे आप लोगों का भी मनोरथ पूर्ण हो गया किंतु मेरे पति तो मर गए और आप उसे जीवित करने की चेष्टा नहीं कर रहे हैं श्री महादेव जी बोले ऐसा कह कर पत्नी के वियोग से व्यतीत रति ने देवराज इंद्र तथा ब्रह्मा के सामने बहुत प्रकार से विलाप किया उसकी बातें सुनकर भगवान ब्रह्मा तथा देवराज इंद्र विवाह के लिए उत्सुकछित हो शंकर से प्रार्थना पूर्व किया वचन बोले उन दोनों ने कहा शरण गेटों पर कृपा करने वाले प्रभु देव आप आप देवताओं के उपकार के लिए एक कार्य कर दीजिए हम लोगों का वचन मानकर कामदेव ने आपके ऊपर बढ़ छोड़ने के लिए प्रस्थान किया था तब उसने इंद्र के नेतृत्व में आए हुए सभी देवताओं से कहा था मेरी इस किरदार से कुपित होकर यदि महादेव मुझे नष्ट कर दें तब आप देव उतारगढ़ मेरे जीवन के लिए यथोचित प्रयास कीजिए शंकर ऐसा ही होगा यह कहकर हुए देवता गण उसे वचनबद्ध हो गए थे इस प्रकार वह कामदेव आपका क्रोध से उत्पन्न एग्री से जलकर राख हो गया तब शौक से संताप हृदय वाली उसकी पत्नी रति यहां आए हुए और अपने पति के लिए याचना कर रही है प्रभु श्री ईश्वर यदि आप कृपा करके कामदेव को जीवित कर देते हैं तो इससे प्रति को दिया गया देवताओं का वचन सत्य हो जाता है और रति भी जगत को मोहित करने वाले पति को प्राप्त कर लेंगे श्री महादेव जी बोले महामुनि ऐसा सुनकर प्राण तनु जान कृपा करने वाले महादेव से फिर कामदेव को शरीर की प्राप्ति कर दीजिए तब कामदेव ने दिया प्राप्त कर उन्हें महेश्वर को प्रणाम किया और सभी देवताओं का अभिवादन करने पर वह कृति के पास चला गया मुनि श्रेष्ठ इस प्रकार पति कामदेव को प्राप्त करके प्रतिमान हर्षित से भर उठा और देवता ग्रहण प्रसन्नता से युक्त हो गए मनोहर रति वाले उपस्थित हो गए और चंद्रमा अत्यंत निर्मल हो गया देवताओं के देश से वृद्धि हो गई और वह महान उत्सव मनाने लगे इस समय ब्रह्मा जी पीले लाल मिश्रित गन से जाता से युक्त पुस्तक वाले तथा भूषण के रूप में भी बहुत ही धारण करने वाले चतुर्भुज भगवान सदाशिव से कहने लगे ब्रह्मा जी ने कहा संभोग आपका यह श्रेष्ट रूप देवता आदि के लिए दुर्लभ जोगियो के मन में उत्साह पैदा करने वाले तथा प्रेम को बढ़ाने वाला है प्रभु आप इस रूप को तिरोहित करके सोई अम्मा रूप धारण कीजिए जिससे कि आपका शूरवीर राज की माला तथा सांस मेनका को आपको अति सुंदर देखकर प्रसन्नता प्राप्त करें महेश्वर हिमालय आपको अपनी स्वर्ण सुंदरी पुत्री गौरी का अर्पण करने वाले हैं अतः जिसमें इस तरह की प्रसन्नता हो आपके वैसा ही कीजिए रामदेव का नाश करने वाले देवर ही थे वह विवाह में दो भुजाओं तथा एक भुजा से युक्त इस तरह का अत्यंत सुंदर तथा कल्याणकारी रूप धारण कीजिए जिससे कि आपको भयानक को वाला देखकर कोई भी स्त्री भयभीत न हो श्री महादेव जी बोले मुनिश्रेष्ठ ब्रह्मा के क्या कहते हुए उसे इच्छा भगवान शिव को भुज तथा एक मोक्ष युक्त स्वभाव के हो जाए चरण पर के उसकी जाता सुनने का मुकुट हो गई आखिरी प्रिया तीसरा नेता क्या सुंदर हो गया शरीर में लगा हुआ बस में चंदन हो गया और शेषन आभूषण हो गए इसके बाद महेश्वर के पास आकर शुभ मुहूर्त में उन देवासी बैल की पीठ पर बैठकर देवताओं गंधर्व और कीनन से गिरिराज हिमालय की पूर्वक को प्रस्थान करने के लिए मन मे निश्चय किया मनी देवर्षि शिव के प्रस्थान के समय पुष्प राशि की वर्षा होने लगी स्वर्ग में रहने वाले देवताओं की डांडू भैया की तीव्र ध्वनि दिशाएं परिपूर्ण हो गई शीतल तथा सुगंधित हवा मंद मंद बहने लगी पक्षी कलवारा करने लगी प्रथम गन भी अत्यंत हर्षित होकर मुख से सुंदर तथा अतिथि ब्रा ध्वनि करने लगे महामती इस प्रकार समस्त विवाहित तैयारी पूर्ण हो जाने पर सुंदर चंद्रमा को अपने मस्तक पर धारण करने वाले वृषभ ध्वज भगवान शिव ने सभी देवताओं मुनीश्वर और कीनन के साथ गिरिराज हिमालय के पूर्व के लिए प्रस्थान किया इस प्रकार श्री महा भागवत महापुराण के अंतर्गत महादेव महाराज संवाद में श्री शिव हिमालय पूर्ण आगमन नमक अध्याय पूर्ण हुआ

Hearing her words, Lord Brahma and Devraj Indra agreed for the marriage. Being curious, they prayed to Shankar and said their word. Both of them said, O Lord who is kind to the gates of refuge, please do one thing for the benefit of the gods. Accepting our words, Kamadev had left to attack you. Then he said to all the gods who had come under the leadership of Indra that if Mahadev gets angry with my character and destroys me, then you, O Lord, make appropriate efforts for my life. Shankar, it will happen like this. Saying this, the gods bound themselves to his promise. Thus, Kamadev was burnt to ashes by the fire caused by your anger. Then his wife Rati, with a sad heart, came here and is pleading for her husband. Lord Shri Ishwar, if you kindly bring Kamadev back to life, then the promise given by the gods to Prati becomes true and Rati will also get a husband who captivates the world. Shri Mahadev Ji said, Mahamuni, hearing this, please grant Kamadev a body again from the kind Mahadev, who is the life force. Then, Kamadev received the lamp and bowed to Maheshwar and after saluting all the gods, he did the work. The great sage went to him and after getting his husband Kamadeva, Pratiman was filled with joy and the gods were filled with happiness. The beautiful lovers of love appeared and the moon became very pure. The land of the gods increased and they started celebrating a grand festival. At this time, Lord Brahma spoke to Lord Sadashiv, who has four arms adorned with yellow and red mixed gun and wears many ornaments. Brahma said, this excellent form of yours is rare even for the gods and is arousing enthusiasm in the minds of the yogis and increases their love. Lord, you should disappear from this form and assume the form of a sleeping mother so that your brave king's garland and wife Menaka get happy after seeing your beautiful beauty. Maheshwar Himalaya is going to offer you his golden beautiful daughter Gauri. Therefore, whoever feels such happiness in you, do the same. It was the brother-in-law who destroyed Ramdev. In the marriage, assume such a beautiful and auspicious form with two arms and one arm so that no woman gets scared after seeing your fearsome form. Mahamati, in this way, after all the wedding preparations were completed, the bull flag of Vrishabha Lord Shiva, wearing the beautiful moon on his head, departed for the east of Giriraj Himalaya along with all the gods, Munishwar and Keenan.
