ब्रह्मा जी का श्री राम को कृष्ण पक्ष में ही देवी की पूजा करने का आदेश देना तथा स्वयं के चतुर्मुख होने का पूर्व प्रसंग सुनना ब्रह्म विष्णु और शिव द्वारा देवी की स्तुति श्री महादेव जी बोले तब भगवान ब्रह्मा जी ने महात्मा श्री राम ने संक्षेप में पूर्व ब्रिटेन को कहना आरंभ किया ब्रह्मा जी बोले भगवान विष्णु इस दोस्त के वाद के लिए जब मैं आपसे प्रार्थना की थी कि प्रभु आप मनुष्य रूप में अवतार ले तब आप इसकी रक्षा में भगवती जगदंबा स्थित जानकर उसकी प्रार्थना करने के लिए स्वयं कैलाश पर्वत पर आए थे मैं और भगवान शंकर भी आपके प्रति अनुग्रह के कारण किसी वाद के लिए वहां एक साथ आ गए तब आपने महामाया जगदंबिका को बार-बार सारनाथ प्रणाम करके कहा था देवी शिवजी आप मुझ पर प्रसन्न हो मैं सभी देवताओं तथा विशेष रूप से ब्रह्मा के द्वारा प्रार्थना करने पर रावण के वाद के लिए मनुष्य रूप में अवतार ले रहा हूं आप में उसकी ट्रेन शक्ति इसलिए आप उसे नित्य वरदान देते हैं तो फिर उसे महाबली को माय युद्ध में पैसे मार पाऊंगा राम जब आपने देवी से या बात तथा अन्य जो बातें विस्तार पूर्वक बताइए उसे सुनकर जगदंबा ने कहा वह मुझे सुनिए श्रीदेवी की बोली जब आप अपनी माया से मनुष्य रूप में अवतार लेकर लगे लंकेश रावण से युद्ध करेंगे तब युद्ध भूमि में आप सर्वदा मेरा स्मरण करें इससे आपको अत्यंत विभीषण बढ़ भी नहीं भेद पाएगा तथा राक्षसों के पराक्रम को देखकर आप भयभीत ही होंगे और समय ही वह मेरी विधि पूर्वक पूजा करके मेरी कृपा से आप युद्ध में वीर रावण को जीत लेंगे ब्रह्मा जी बोले मा बहू राम इसलिए आप रावण को युद्ध में जितने की इच्छा से जयप्रदा भयभीत का रावण करते हुए युद्ध कीजिए राघव मेरी पुत्र मुनिश्रेष्ठ वशिष्ठ आपके गुरु हैं देवी का जो मंत्र उन्होंने आपको प्रदान कीजिए है महान संग्राम में उसे मंत्र का स्मरण करते हुए युद्ध करके उसे राक्षस राज रावण को बंधु सहित मार डालिए रघुनंदन आप उसे महादेव की पूजा के लिए प्रयत्न कीजिए क्योंकि उसको प्रसन्न कीजिए बिना आप किसी प्रकार विजय नहीं होंगे शुक्ल पक्ष के आरंभ हो जाने पर यदि रावण हूं जगदंबा का पूजा करें तो उसकी मृत्यु नहीं हो सकेगी इसलिए रघुनंदन आप इस समय में भी इस रक्षा के नाम के लिए उसकी पूजा प्रारंभ कर दीजिए श्री महादेव जी बोले लोक उपकारी इस समस्त बालकों को जानते हुए भी उनकी बात सुनकर श्री राम ने उसे उत्तर दिया श्री राम जी बोले हुए साक्षात परस्पर्ता जगदंबा देवी निश्चय ही विजय प्रदान करने वाली है और युद्ध में जितने की आंकड़ों वाली हवा से ही उसका राम स्मरण और पूजन करना चाहिए किंतु देवताओं के पूजन के लिए या उचित समय नहीं है इस समय महादेवी बिंदेश्वरी सहन अवस्था में है पितामह या कृष्ण पक्ष है शुक्ल पक्ष नहीं इस समय सोई हुई महादेवी को मैं कैसे पूजा करूंगा ब्रह्मा जी बोले अमरकारी दुरात्मा रक्षा जी रावण के वध के लिए और युद्ध में आपकी विजय के लिए मैं उन्हें जगाऊंगा राघव आप असमय भी महादेवी की पूजा कर सकेंगे और युद्ध में शत्रुओं पर विजय प्राप्त करेंगे इसके लिए आप चिंता ना करें
