ज्ञान प्राप्त कर राजा राहु गण का वन गमन जड़ भारत के वचनों से राजा रावण को ज्ञान की प्राप्ति हो गई तत्पश्चात वे जड़ भरत के चरणों में सिर रखकर विनय पूर्वक बोले हैं महात्मा मेरे मन में माया निकालकर दूर भागा आ गई मेरे अमन विभक्त हो चुका है यह कहकर राजा रहो गाना अपनी पाल की सेनाओं तथा बहारों को छोड़कर वन में चलेगा और प्रभु श्री हरि नारायण के चरणों का ध्यान करने लगे बहुत समय तक सुध यमन और पूर्व भक्ति में भजन करने के कारण प्रभु की कृपा प्राप्त हुई और आपने ना स्वर शरीर का त्याग करके बैकुंठ धाम को चले गए अजर भारत में योगासन क्रिया द्वारा अपने शरीर का त्याग कर प्रभु के परमधाम को चले गए जड़ भरत के पुत्र ने जिसका नाम सुमित हुआ उन्हें जगत में जैन धर्म का प्रचार किया और बहुत से शुभ कार्यों का संपन्न किया
