तक्षक के काटने से राजा परीक्षित की मृत्यु होना तथा जन्मेजय का सराफा यज्ञ करना
एबीसी बालक ने राजा परीक्षित हो या शराब दिया था कि साथ में नींद तुमने तक्षक सांप डसेगा और तुम्हारी मृत्यु हो जाएगी महात्मा राजा परीक्षित ने सांप स्वीकार किया और गंगा के तट पर जाकर गंगा ज्ञान गंगा प्रवाहित कराने वाले महात्मा श्री सुखदेव जी के मुख से श्रीमद् भागवत की कथा का श्रवण कराने लगे भगवान श्री कृष्ण चंद्र की महिमा का ज्ञान प्राप्त कर राजा परीक्षित को आपने ना स्वर शरीर का मुंह समाप्त हो गया उन्हें सर्वत्र मुरली मनोहर के दर्शन होने लगे भागवत महाराज का अमृत पान करने के उपरांत महात्मा सुखदेव के सम्मुख हाथ जोड़कर उसके चरणों में अपना मस्तक रखकर बोले हैं महात्मा आपने श्री हरि की लीला और गुणों की महिमा सुना कर मेरा जीवन धन्य किया हे कृपालु आपकी कृपा से मेरे ह्रदय की सारी व्यथा समाप्त हो गई आपने अपनी ज्ञानरूपी नौका के सहारे अपार संसार से पार उतरने का मार्ग प्रदान किया संत जन प्राणियों को सम्मान देने के लिए सिरी भूमि पर अवतार लेते हैं हे भगवान श्रीमद् भागवत पुराण की जो कथा आपने मुझे सुनाई इसी सुनकर मेरे हृदय का माया रूपी अंधकार नष्ट हो गया आपकी कृपा से परम ब्रह्म परमेश्वर के दर्शन का मार्ग मुझे मिल गया अब एक तक तो क्या सैकड़ों तक सभी आकर मुझे डसले चिंता नहीं है तक्ष मेरे शरीर को नष्ट करेगा यही यह शरीर पंचतत्व से उत्पन्न हुआ था पुनः पंचतत्व में विलीन हो जाएगा दयासागर महात्मा आप आप मुझे आज्ञा दें कि अपने नेत्रों को बंद करके मौन होकर प्रभु श्री हरि नारायण के श्री चरणों का ध्यान करो मेरा संपूर्ण अज्ञान नष्ट हो चुका है मुझे चारों ओर श्री नारायण ही दिखाई दे रहे हैं तब ज्ञानी सुखदेव जी बोले हे राजन् आप तुम आत्मा को ब्रह्मा में मिलाकर एक रूप हो जाए तो जब राजा परीक्षित महात्मा सुखदेव से आज्ञा लेकर प्रभु के चरणों का ध्यान करने लगे उसी समय अपने निवास स्थल के दर्शन कर राजा परीक्षित को ढकने के लिए जिला मार्ग में उसने ब्राह्मण का वेश धारण कर लिया ब्राह्मण रूपी तक चला आ रहा था कि उसकी बेटी वेद राज कश्यप से हुए न्यू संजीवनी विद्या जाते थे तब सर्विस की चिकित्सा से बरामद थे उन्हें देखकर तक्षक ने पूछा है वेद राज इस समय आप कहां जा रहे हैं आप किसी नेता देखकर ही प्रतीत होता है कि कोई परम आवश्यक कार्य है रक्षा के वचनों को सुनकर वेद राज कश्यप ने कहा कि ब्राह्मण राज हस्तिनापुर के राजा परीक्षित को तक्षक सांप काटेगा मैं राजा परीक्षित का बताने जा रहा हूं तब तक साथ में रहा क्या आप तक के बीच उतार सकते हैं तक्षक का डर सा प्राणी जीवित नहीं रहता तक्षक के इस प्रकार कहने पर वेद राज कश्यप ने हंसकर कहा तक्षक ही नहीं संसार का गिरना भी विषैला सर्प हो उसके डरते हुए प्राणियों को मैं अच्छा कर सकता हूं उस समय तक्षक ने कहा है वेद राज्य तक का नाम आपने सुना है जिसके विषय को उतारने के लिए तुम जा रहे हो वह मैं ही हूं यह कह कर तक्षक ने एक हरे-भरे वृक्ष को डस लिया पल भर में वह वृक्ष जलकर भस्म हो गया तत्पश्चात उसने कहा है वेदरज यदि तुम पुनः इस वृक्ष को हरा भरा कर दो तो मुझे विश्वास हो कि तुम्हारा राजा परीक्षित को बचा लोगे दक्षा के वचनों को सुनकर वेद राज कश्यप ने संजीवनी मंत्र पढ़कर वृक्ष को पुनः हरा भरा कर दिया इस चमत्कार को देखकर तक्षक घबरा गया और मन में विचार ने लगा यदि यह ब्राह्मण राजा के पास पहुंचा जाए तो राजा को अवश्य बचा लेगा तब ऐसा कोई उपाय करना चाहिए जिससे यह लफ्ज़ जाए यह विचार कर तक्षक ने नम्रता से पूछा ब्राह्मण देव राजा को जीवित करने का क्या प्रयोजन है अर्थात मेरे कथन का तात्पर्य यह है कि या राजा परीक्षित को जीवित करने से आपको क्या लाभ है उस घड़ी वेद राज कश्यप ने कहा हे तक्षक राजा परीक्षित को जब मैं पुनर्जीवित कर दूंगा तो मैं प्रसन्न होकर मुझे बहुत सद्दाम प्राप्त हो करेंगे तब तक शक नहीं रहा है ब्राह्मण आप धान की इच्छा से राजा को जीवित करने जा रहे हैं अतः तुम्हें इतना धन चाहिए मुझ से लेकर लौट जाओ या का करता सकने वृक्ष के नीचे गड़ा हुआ धन निकालकर ब्राह्मण के सम्मुख रख दिया उस समय कश्यप ने विचार किया कि इतना ना तो राजा भी ना देता लोभ के वशीभूत होकर वह तक्षक द्वारा प्रदान किए नाम को लेकर आऊंगा तब तक साधना अत्यंत छोटे आकार के किले का स्वरूप धारण किया और एक पूर्व में जाकर बैठ गया जब वहां उठाकर राजा परीक्षित के हाथ में दिया उसी पल तक्षक नाग ने डस लिया कालसर्प तक किसके प्रभाव से राजा का तन जलकर भस्म हो गया किंतु है जरा सी भी लाना हुई क्योंकि तब से पूर्व ही हुआ ब्रह्मा में लीन हो चुके थ केवल माया का शरीर था वह भी तक्षक के डसने से पंचतत्व में विलीन हो गया मनुष्य देवता यक्ष आदि ने देखा कि राजा परीक्षित को लेने के लिए आकाश एक दिव्य विमान आया जिसे पर बैठकर उसकी आत्मा परमधाम चली गई राजा की मृत्यु का समाचार जब नगर वासियों को मिला तो वे सब विलाप करने लगे और हाय हाय करते हुए कहने लगे ऐसा धर्म पालक राजा हमें कहां मिलेगा उधर राजा परीक्षित के पुत्र जन्म लेने जब सुना कि पिता महाराज को तक्षक सरपंच ने काट लिया और उसकी मृत्यु हो गई तो वह अत्यंत क्रोधित हुआ तब यह प्रतिज्ञा की कि मैं संसार के समस्त सांपों को नाश कर दूंगा और प्रतिज्ञा करने के 55 मंत्रियों तथा ब्राह्मणों को बुलाकर कहा है ब्राह्मणों की मार्कशीट महाराज को डस लिया अतः आप लोग ऐसा यज्ञ करें जिससे हवन कुंड में आकर समस्त सरपंच कराने को कहा जा सकता क्योंकि यज्ञ का आरंभ हुआ ऋषि यों के मंत्र बल से संसार के समस्त शहर पाकर हवन कुंड में गिर कर जलने लगे किंतु बहुत समय व्यतीत हो जाने के पश्चात भीतर झांकना आया तब जन्म लेने सहायोग रोहित अभी तक मेरा शत्रु तक चेक नहीं आया इसका क्या कारण है तब ऋषि यों ने उन्हें बताया कि तक्षक ने देवराज इंद्र से अपनी रक्षा करने के लिए विनती की है इस घड़ी इंद्र देव द्वारा रचित होने के कारण नहीं आ रहा है तब जन्म जाने क्रोध में भरकर रहा है ऋषि महात्मा मेरे शत्रु की रक्षा इंद्रदेव कर रहे हैं अतः हुए भी मेरे शत्रु हुए क्योंकि ट्रू में कहा गया है कि शत्रु का पक्ष लेने वाला भी शत्रु होता है चाहे वह मित्र ही क्यों ना हो अतः मेरा निवेदन है कि आप सब ऐसा मंत्र पढ़े होती दें जिससे इंद्र सहित तक चकिया कुंड में आकर गिरे और जलकर भस्म हो जाए ब्राह्मणों के मंत्र पढ़कर यज्ञ में आहुति डाली देवराज इंद्र का सामान लेकर तक गिरने लगा देवों के देव गुरु बृहस्पति जी ने विचार किया कि तक्षक सर बहुत हो चुका है इसे मारना उचित नहीं है यदि हवन कुंड में जाकर तक जल मरेगा तो अमृत की मर्यादा नष्ट हो जाएगी उसी समय चाचा को हवन कुंड की ओर देखकर ऐसी हस्ती ने हाथ ऊपर उठाकर कहा ठहर जा तारा मंत्र शक्ति के कारण तक्षक आकाश मार्ग में ठहर गया तदुपरांत देव गुरु बृहस्पति और ऋषि अवस्थी जी जन्म को समझाते हुए बोले हे राजन् तुम्हारे पिता की मृत्यु का कारण तक्षक नहीं बल्कि शृंगा ऋषि का श्राप है यदि तक जा के काटने से तुम्हारे पिता की मृत्यु ना होती तो शृंगा ऋषि का श्राप क्या हो जाता सत्य तो यह है की कर्मानुसार प्राणी का जन्म होता है और मृत्यु को प्राप्त होता है सुख दुख जीवन मरण यह सब श्री हरि नारायण की इच्छा अनुसार होता है जीवात्मा होता है और शरीर नशवान शरीर के नष्ट होने का शौक ध्यान दो और मृत्यु को प्रावधान का फल समझकर सांपों को भास्कर बंद कर दो बॉस की नाथ की पुत्री जरूरी के गर्व से उत्पन्न हुए अगस्ती ऋषि के वचनों को सुनकर जन मुझे को ज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया उन्होंने उसी समय यज्ञ में पूर्णाहुति डलवा कर यज्ञ बंद करा दिया उस समय तक्षक ने प्रसन्न होकर कहा हे राजे जन्म जाए जो प्राणी तुम्हारे नाम का स्मरण करेगा उसे सर कब आए नहीं होगा

Had it not been there, what would have been the curse of Shringa Rishi? A queen is born and death receives happiness, sorrow, life, death, all this happens according to the will of Shri Hari Narayan, the soul is the soul and the body is mortal, pay attention to the desire of the body to be destroyed, and thinking of death as the result of provision, Bhaskar stopped the snakes.
