पहलाद जी बोले प्रभु आपकी स्तुति करने से मेरे पिताश्री के मन में मेरे प्रति जो दिनेश हुए हैं उसको उससे जो पाप लगा है वह नष्ट हो जाए इसके अतिरिक्त उसकी आज्ञा से मेरे शरीर पर जो शास्त्रों के आधार किए गए मुझे अग्नि में डाला जाए सरकार से 10 पाया गया मेरा भोजन में फिलहाल 20 दिया गया मुझे नाश्ता में बांधकर महासागर में डाला गया सिलाओ से मुझे दबाया गया तथा जो भी मेरे पिता श्री ने मेरे साथ अत्याचार व दुर्व्यवहार किया है इसमें जो मेरे पिताश्री को द्वेष लगा है आपकी कृपा से वह उसे शीघ्र जी मुक्त हो जाएं प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी बोले हे पहलाद मेरी कृपा से तुम्हारी समस्त मनोकामनाएं अवश्य ही पूर्ण होगी यह अशोक कुमार इसके अतिरिक्त मैं तुमको एक बार और देता हूं तुम्हारी जो इच्छा हो मांग लो पहलाद जी बोले हे प्रभु मैं तो आपके दिए हुए इस वरदान को पाकर धन्य हो गए आपकी कृपा सदैव आप ही में मेरी विचलित भक्ति रहे प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी बोले हे पहलाद मेरे साथी संयुक्त तेरा मन जैसा नीचल है उसके कारण तू मेरी बात से विष्णुपद को प्राप्त करेगा श्री पराशर जी बोले हैं मैथिली ऐसा कह कर देवाधिदेव प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी अंतर्ध्यान हो गए और पहलाद जी वापिस महल में आकर अपने पिता के कक्ष में पहुंचकर उसके चरणों की वंदना करने लगे तब पिता हिरण कश्यप ने अपने पुत्र पहलाद को अनेक प्रकार से प्रताड़ित किया था उस पुत्र का सिर धो वास आंखों में आंसू भर कर बोले हे प्रभु जीवित तो है वह महान असुर राज अपने कृत्य पर पछतावा कर फिर से पहला से प्रेम करने लगे इसी तरह धर्म महान पहलाद जी भी अपने गुरु तथा माता-पिता की सेवा दूसरा भाग करने लगे हैं नकली नरसिंह रूप धारी प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी द्वारा अपने पिता हिरण्यकश्यप वध किया जाने पर वे बेटियों के राजा बने हे तीज राज लक्ष्मी सहित बहुत से पुत्र पुत्र आदि तथा परमेश्वरी पाकर कर्म अधिकारी के छेद होने पर पूर्णता पो से रहित होकर प्रभु श्री हरि विष्णु जी का स्मरण करते हुए परम निर्माण पद प्राप्त किया हे मैथिली जिनके संबंध में तुमने मुझसे पूछा था हुए परम भागवत भक्त पहलाद जी ऐसे प्रभावशाली हुए पहलाद जी के इस चरित्र को जो भी अपने मन लगाकर भक्ति पूर्वक सुनता है उसकी समस्त पाप शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाते हैं यह मैथिली इसमें जरा भी संदेह नहीं है कि मनुष्य पहला चरित्र के श्रवण करने या पढ़ने से लगातार किए गए पापों से छुटकारा पा जाता है पूर्णिमा अमावस्या अष्टमी या द्वादशी को इससे पढ़ने से प्राणी को गोदान का फल मिलता है
