है ऋषियों इस प्रकार निश्चय करके नारद जी वही मार्ग में एक स्थान पर बैठकर श्री विष्णु का ध्यान करते हुए प्रार्थना करने वालों की है प्रभु संसार में आपका सामान मेरा ही तो अन्य कोई नहीं है वस्तु आप यही प्रकट होकर मेरे मनोरथ को पूर्ण करें नारद जी की इस प्रार्थना को सुनकर श्री विष्णु उसी स्थान पर प्रकट हो गए तब नारद जी ने उन्हें अपना मानता सुनते हुए उन्हें उत्तर दिया है नारद जिस प्रकार वेद रोगी की इच्छा के प्रतिकूल भजन देता है उसी प्रकार मैं भी आपकी सेवा करुंगा इतना कह कर श्री विष्णु अंतर ध्यान हो गए नारद जी उन्हें मूड वचनों का भावार्थ नहीं समझ सके अस्तु नारद जी का संपूर्ण शरीर श्री विष्णु जैसा हो गया परंतु उनका मुख बंदर जैसा बना रहा नाराज जी वहां से उठकर शीघ्रता पूर्वक पुनः राज्यसभा में जा पहुंचे नारद जी बारंबार उच्च चलते हुए मन ही मन यह विचार करके प्रसन्न होने लगे कि आप राज कन्या मुझे छोड़कर अन्य किसी को वर्णन नहीं करेगी उसे सभा में नारद जी के इस नए रूप स्वरूप को कोई देख नहीं सका अतः सपना उन्हें नारद समझ कर ही प्रणाम किया भगवान सदाशिव के दो गाने भी भ्रम हरण का रूप धारण किए हुए बैठे थे उन दोनों में यह राज से छिपाना हर सका स्तूप हुए दोनों नारद जी के पास जा बैठ गए उन्हें मुस्कुराते हुए नाराज जी से कहा है मुनिश्रेष्ठ आपको तो भगवान विष्णु ने अत्यंत सुंदर रूप प्रदान कर दिया है अब भला राज का नया आपको छोड़कर अन्य किसी को क्यों स्वीकार करेगी सूद जी ने कहा है शॉप का नदी ऋषियों इस बीच वह राज कन्या भी स्वयं वर्षा भाव में आप पहुंची जब उसे नारद जी के उसे भयानक स्वरूप को देखा तो वह अपने मन में अत्यंत अपरस नहीं हुई और मुंह फेर कर दूसरी पंक्ति में अपने योग पति को ढूंढने लगी इधर नारद जी किया दशा थी कि वह बारंबार ऊंचा पूजा कर चारों ओर से उसे राज कन्या के समीप पहुंचने का प्रयत्न करते थे शिवजी के हुए दोनों गांड मरा जी की इस दशा को देखकर बारंबार और अधिक हास्य कर उठे ठीक उसी समय भगवान विष्णु उसे सभा में आ पहुंचे उन्हें देखते ही राज कन्या ने प्रशांत होकर गले में वरमाला डाल दिया यह देखकर अन्य सब राजा तो निराश हुए ही देवर से नारद अत्यंत बेहाल हो गए उसे समय उन दोनों शिव गानों से नारद जी से यह कहा है मुनिराज आप इतने दुखी क्यों होते हैं कृपया करके अपने मुंह को किसी दर्पण में तो देख लीजिए
