देवताओं ने कहा यह दिन बंधु भगवान सदा शिव आप सबके रक्षक सबके स्वामी परम ब्रह्म तथा प्रमेय आपकी लीला को कोई भी नहीं जानता आपकी जो इच्छा है वही होता है हे प्रभु दक्ष प्रजापति ने अपने मुख्ता तथा आज्ञा के कारण आपको अपने यज्ञ में नहीं बुलाया और नस मस्तक बनकर आपके भक्तों का सम्मान भी नहीं किया जिनमें कारण हुए सब उसे श्राप देकर अपने घर को लौट गए उसे आदि शक्ति का भी कोई सम्मान नहीं किया और उन्हें भस्म होने से नहीं होगा देवताओं में भी कोई हस्तक्षेप नहीं किया आज तो सब लोग अपने-अपने किए का फल प्राप्त कर चुके हैं हमें आपसे कुछ नहीं कहना है क्योंकि इनमें संपूर्ण दोष देवताओं का ही है हम सब ने आपको भुला दिया था अस्तू आप आप हमारे अपराध क्षमा कर दे और कृपा दृष्टि देखकर हमें निर्भय बना दे यह स्वामी यदि आप इस प्रकार दंड न देते तो धर्म नष्ट को जाता आपकी अवज्ञा होती वेद की प्रतिष्ठा काम हो जाति तथा दक्ष का अहंकार हुआ अधिक बढ़ जाता वस्तु आपने जो कुछ किया वह सर्वदा उचित है हे नारद देवताओं तथा ऋषि मुनियों द्वारा इस प्रकार स्तुति की जाने पर मैंने तथा विष्णु जी ने भगवान सदा शिव की प्रार्थना करते हुए कहा है प्रभु आपकी माया संपूर्ण सृष्टि को अचेत किए हुए हैं आप अपनी माया द्वारा संपूर्ण सृष्टि को बुलावे में डाले हैं और अपने तीनों स्वरूप से संसार की उत्पत्ति स्थिति तथा प्रलय करते हैं हे प्रभु इस समय हम सब आपकी शरण में आए हैं आज तो आप हम सब पर कृपा कीजिए और हमें वरदान दीजिए जिसके कारण दक्ष को पुनः जीवन प्राप्त हो अपना प्रीत देवता को नेत्र प्रदान किया तथा ब्रिंग ऋषि के क्लेश को दूर कीजिए आपकी कृपा से भूसा अपने दांतों को पुन प्राप्त करें तथा संपूर्ण देवताओं के घायल शरीर भी आरोग्य प्राप्त करें हे नाथ आपकी यज्ञशाला में चलने पर ही यह सब बात पूरी होगी हम यह प्रण करते हैं कि भविष्य में आपके बिना कोई भी यज्ञ न होग हे नारद आम लोगों की इस प्रकार स्थिति सुनकर भगवान सदाशिव अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए और मुस्कुराते हुए बोले ही देवताओं हम कभी क्रोध नहीं कर करते तथा कल्प वृक्ष के समान सबको सुख प्राप्त करते तुम यह नीचे जानू की जो प्राणी जैसा कर्म करता है उसे वैसा फल अवश्य मिलता है क्योंकि सांसारिक प्राणी माया में हंस कर संसार वास्तु के सच्चे ज्ञान को भूल बैठते हैं दक्ष ने जो कुछ किया उनका फल उसे प्राप्त हो गया अब हम यह वरदान देते हैं कि दक्ष बकरे का मुंह पकड़ जीवित हो जाए ब्रिंग मित्र ने नेत्रों से देखेंगे पुष्पम यज्ञ मां के दांतों से भोजन करेंगे तथा सभी देवताओं के शरीर स्वस्थ हो जाएंगे इतना कह कर शिवजी मौन हो गए उसे समय सब देवता प्रसन्न होकर जय जयकार करने लगे तथा यह कहने वालों की है प्रभु आप अब यज्ञ में अवश्य चले क्योंकि आपके बिना यज्ञ पूर्ण ना होगा आप कृपा करके अपने भाग्य को स्वीकार कीजिए इस प्रकार देवताओं ने जब प्रार्थना की तो शिव जी ने प्रसन्न होकर यज्ञ में चलना स्वीकार कर लिया उसे समय सबको अत्यंत आनंद प्राप्त हुआ जिस समय शिवजी यज्ञ स्थल की ओर चले उसे समय की शोभा यहां थी कि कोई देवता शिवजी पर चमार बुलाता था कोई छात दिए चल रहा था और कोई अपनी महिमा का वर्णन कर रहा था

The Gods said, this day brother Lord Sada Shiva, you are the protector of all, the master of all, the supreme Brahma and the prameya, no one knows your leela, whatever you wish, happens. O Lord, Daksha Prajapati did not invite you to his yagya due to his will and order and did not respect your devotees by becoming a mere head, all of whom were the reason, returned to their homes by cursing him, he did not respect Adi Shakti either and he will not be burnt to ashes, there was no interference among the Gods either, today everyone has received the result of their own deeds, we have nothing to say to you because in this the entire fault is of the Gods only, we all had forgotten you, therefore, you please forgive our crimes and make us fearless by seeing our kind eyes, O Lord, if you had not punished us in this manner, then religion would have been destroyed, you would have been disobedient, the prestige of Vedas would have been diminished, caste and Daksha's ego would have increased a lot, whatever you have done is always right, O Narada, on being praised in this manner by the Gods and sages, I and Vishnu Ji prayed to Lord Sada Shiva and said, Lord, your Maya has made the entire creation unconscious. You have put the entire universe under your influence through your Maya and through your three forms, you create, maintain and destroy the world. O Lord, at this time we all have come to your refuge. Today, please have mercy on us and give us a boon due to which Daksha gets life again. You have given your eyes to Preet Devta and remove the pain of Bring Rishi. By your grace, Bhusa gets his teeth back and the injured bodies of all the gods also get healthy. O Nath, all this will be accomplished only when we go to your yajnashaala. We vow that in future, no yajna will be performed without you. O Narad, on hearing the condition of the common people like this, Lord Sadashiv became very happy and smilingly said, O Gods, we never get angry and like the Kalpa tree, everyone gets happiness. You know that whatever a person does, he definitely gets the same result because the worldly beings laugh in Maya and forget the true knowledge of the world. Whatever Daksha did, he got the result of that. Now we give this boon that Daksha comes alive by holding the goat's mouth. Bring Mitra will see Pushpam Yajna with his eyes. They will eat with their teeth and the bodies of all the Gods will become healthy. After saying this Shiv Ji became silent. At that time all the Gods became happy and started hailing him and said that Lord you must now go to the yagya because the yagya will not be complete without you, kindly accept your fate. When the Gods prayed in this way, Shiv Ji became happy and accepted to go to the yagya. At that time everyone got immense joy. When Shiv Ji went towards the yagya place, the beauty of that time was such that some God was calling a cobbler for Shiv Ji, some were walking with umbrellas and some were describing their own glory.
