श्री शिव महापुराण कथा तृतीय अखंड अध्याय 56

ब्रह्मा जी बोले हे नारद हिमाचल में बारात की सेवा के लिए दास दासी तथा अन्य प्रकार की सामग्री भेज हिंदी गिरिजा ने ध्यान करके बारात में सिद्ध को प्रकट कर दिया जिससे कि किसी बात की कमी ना रह गई विष्णु आदि सब देवता हिमाचल की बधाई करने लगे परंतु हुए सब या ना जान सके कि यह सब सेट गिर जाती है इसी के पश्चात मैंने हिमाचल से लग्न मुहूर्त का ध्यान दिलाते हुए कहा कि आप देर मत करो या सुनकर हिमाचल में प्रसन्न होकर अपने पुरोहित को बुलाया पंडित वेद पाठ करते हुए अनेक प्रकार के बजे बजाते हुए चले तथा शिव जी के पास जाकर यह निवेदन किया कि अब आप हमारे घर चले तब मैं शिव सहित हिमाचल के घर को गया हम सब देवता वहां पहुंचकर उचित स्थान पर बैठे फिर गिरजा को भीतर से बुलाया सब ने गिरजा को आते हुए देखकर प्रणाम किया मिर्जा को उत्तम स्थान पर बैठने के उपरांत विवाह की सब्रिटियां होने लगी दोनों ओर से बहुत साधन दिया गया जो प्रत्येक को उसकी इच्छा अनुसार ही मिला उसे समय चारों ओर बड़ा आनंद हुआ स्त्रियां मंगल गान कर रही थी यह नारद इसके पश्चात बारात में वहां से चलकर जानवर में आए तब हर प्रकार के भजन पर उसे गए हिमाचल ने अपने घर में ही 56 प्रकार के भजन बनवाए थे ही मोहन ने बारात को आने का संदेश भेजो थोड़ी ही देर में सब भर आता पहुंची हिमाचल ने सबके पांव धोए जिस समय उन्होंने शिव के चरण धोए उसे समय हुए प्रसन्नता से बिहार हो गए उन्होंने यही सोचा कि यह वही चरण है जिसका विष्णु एवं ब्रह्म ज्ञान करते हैं चरण धोने के पश्चात शिवजी को एक सुंदर स्वर्ण की चौकी पर बैठाया तथा उसके सम्मुख भजन लगाकर रखा प्रत्येक के सम्मुख स्वादिष्ट भोजन रखे गए हुए भजन चारों प्रकार के थे जिसमें चाय रसों का स्वाद था सभी भोजन करने लगे स्त्रियों ने गलियां गई जिसमें से हुई सबके नाम लेते थे और बाराती प्रसन्न होकर बहुत धीरे-धीरे भोजन करते थे जब भोजन समाप्त कर चुके तब उनको पान बांटे गए परंतु वहां शिव बारात विदा होकर जनों से में आए जब मैं विवाह की शुभ लगन पहले के विचार के अनुसार देखी तो हिमाचल को सूचित कर दिया हिमाचल ने इस समय अपना एक पुत्र शिवजी को आदर सहित लाने के लिए भेज दिया शिवजी देवता एवं मुनि सहित तुरंत वहां से चल दिए उसे समय अनेक प्रकार के बड़ी बजाने लगे उसे समाचारों और जो आनंद छा गया उसका वर्णन किसी प्रकार भी नहीं किया जा सकता

Brahma Ji said, O Narada, send servants and other materials to Himachal for the service of the marriage procession. Girija meditated and manifested Siddha in the marriage procession so that there was no shortage of anything. Vishnu and other gods started congratulating Himachal, but all of them did not know that all this would go wrong. After this, I reminded Himachal about the marriage muhurat and said that you should not delay. Hearing this, Himachal was pleased and called his priest. Pandit recited Vedas and went playing various types of instruments and went to Shiv Ji and requested that now you come to our house. Then I went to Himachal's house along with Shiv. After reaching there, all the gods sat at the appropriate place, then called Girija from inside. Everyone greeted Girija on seeing him coming. After Mirza sat at the best place, the rituals of marriage started. Both sides gave a lot of resources, which everyone got according to their wish. There was a lot of joy all around. Women were singing auspicious songs. After this, Narada went from there to the marriage procession and came to the animal. Then Himachal went to his house on every type of bhajan. 56 types of Bhajans were composed. Mohan sent a message to the baraat to come. In a short while, everyone reached the baraat. Himachal washed everyone's feet. When he washed Shiva's feet, everyone was filled with joy. He thought that these are the same feet about which Vishnu and Brahma know. After washing the feet, Shiva was seated on a beautiful golden stool and bhajans were played in front of him. Delicious food was kept in front of everyone. Bhajans of all four types were there in which there was the taste of tea and juices. Everyone started eating. The women sang songs. They took everyone's name and the baraatis happily ate their food very slowly. When they finished eating, they were distributed paan. But Shiva left the baraat and came to the people. When he saw the auspicious time of marriage as per the earlier plan, he informed Himachal. Himachal sent one of his sons to bring Shiva with respect. Shiva along with the gods and sages immediately left from there. At that time, many types of drums were played. The joy that engulfed him cannot be described in any way.
