ब्रह्मा जी बोले हे नारद हम देवताओं की स्तुति सुनकर शिव जी ने कहा हे ब्रह्मा हे विष्णु तथा अन्य सब देवताओं तुम लोग हमारे पास किस लिए आए हो तुम हमें अपने दुख का कारण सुनाओ भगवान सदा शिव के मुख से यह वचन सुनकर देवताओं ने कुछ सोच विचार करके यह उत्तर दिया है हे प्रभु राजा देवदास धर्म पर अरुण होकर तथा सब प्रकार के पापों को त्याग कर पृथ्वी पर शासन कर रहा है और उसके राज में सब लोग सुखी हैं यह यद्यपि वह आपका भक्त है और हम सब देवताओं की सेवा में साल लग्न रहता है परंतु उसके हाथ पूर्वक किसी भी देवता अथवा नाग आदि को पृथ्वी पर नहीं रहने दिया है आज तो आपको यह उचित है कि किसी उपाय द्वारा आप राजा देवदास को राज से पथिक कट करने का प्रयत्न करेगा राजा देवदास के राज त्याग के पश्चात ही हम लोग काशी को प्राप्त करें सकेंगे अन्यथा नहीं इतना कह कर सब देवता चुप हो गए हे नारद देवताओं की यह प्रार्थना सुनकर शिवजी ने कहा है देवताओं राजा देवदास हमारा परम भक्त है वह काशी का जो हमारे दूसरे शरीर के समान है राक्षस है अस्तु काशी के रक्षा को किसी प्रकार का दुख प्राप्त नहीं हो सकता इतना खाकर शिवजी चुप हो गए परंतु उसे समय काशी का स्मरण आ जाने के कारण उसके आंखें आंसुओं से भर गई कुछ देर तक हुए काशी के प्रेम में ऐसे मगन रहे कि उनकी अवस्था मूर्छित के समान हो गई जब वह चैतन्य हुए तो उसे काशी की स्तुति करते हुए इस प्रकार कहा है आनंद दाहिनी काशी अब तो मुझे कब प्राप्त होगी यदि तू मुझे शीघ्र ही प्राप्त नहीं हुई तो मेरा जीवन कठिन हो जाएगा इतना कह कर काशी के प्रेम में मग्न हो शिवाजी मुर्जित हो गए हे नारद शिवजी किया दशा देखकर गिरिजा ने मुझे चैतन्य करते हुए कहा हे प्रभु आप तीनों लोक के स्वामी हैं सहयोग और वियोग सब आपकी लीला है आपकी को दृष्टि से प्रलय हो जाता है आप पूर्ण स्वाधीन है यदि आप काशी में पहुंचे तो राजा देवदास आपको किसी भी प्रकार नहीं रोक सकेगा काशी के निवासी यमराज से भी भाई नहीं खाते पपिया की मुक्ति दाहिनी होने के कारण वह मुझे भी अत्यंत प्रिय है आप ऐसा उपाय कीजिए जिससे हमें काशी पुणे प्राप्त हो सके तथा सबको शांति मिले हे नारद गिरिजा के यह वचन सुनकर शिवजी ने प्रसन्न होकर कहा है गिरजे तुम मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय हो परंतु काशी मुझे तुमसे भी अधिक प्रिय है इस समय तुम्हारी अमृत के समान वचन सुनकर मेरे हृदय को को शांति प्राप्त हुई है परंतु तुम्हें या ज्ञात होना चाहिए कि मैं राजा देवदास का अत्यंत आधार तथा सम्मान करता हूं उन्हें उसने ब्रह्मा जी से आज्ञा लेकर ही काशी का राज प्राप्त किया है उसके वरदान मांगते समय ब्रह्मा जी ने यह स्पष्ट कहा था कि यदि देवता आदि पृथ्वी पर ना रहे तब मैं राज को स्वीकार कर सकता हूं अन्यथा नहीं तब मुझे ब्रह्मा जी के वचन का पालन करने हेतु काशी छोड़ देनी पड़ी राजा देवदास उसे समय से मेरी पूरी की भली भांति रक्षा कर रहा है इसलिए मुझे वह अत्यंत प्रिय है भला ऐसा दशा में मैं उनका राज किस प्रकार छीन सकता हूं तुम्हें यह बात भी अच्छी तरह जान लेनी चाहिए कि जो लोग धर्मात्मा होते हैं मैं उनकी सदैव रक्षा किया करता हूं यदि कोई उन्हें कष्ट पहुंचाने का प्रयत्न करता भी है तो स्वयं ही दुख उठना है इसलिए मैं ऐसा उपाय सोच रहा हूं जिससे मुझे काशी पुणे प्राप्त हो सकती है हे नारद इस प्रकार शिवाजी चिंता कर ही रहे थे कि उसे समय अचानक ही उन्होंने अपने सामने खड़ी हुई योगिनियों को देखा तब शिवजी ने उन्हें अपने पास बुलाकर बहुत आदर से बैठाया फिर यह आज्ञा दी है योगिनी गाना तुम सब काशीपुरी में जाओ और वहां जाकर राजा देवदास के धर्म कार्यों में कुछ ऐसा विभिन्न दलों की जिसके कारण वह खांसी छोड़कर हटाने को तैयार हो जाए ऐसा उपाय जब सफल हो जाए तब मैं भी पुणे काशी में रहकर आनंद प्राप्त करूंगा इस प्रकार आ गया देकर शिवजी ने योगिनियों को काशी में भेज दिया और आप स्वयं समय की राह देखने के लिए वही स्थिति रहे उन योगिनियों ने काशी में पहुंचकर अपना स्वरूप बदल लिया फिर हुए तपस्वियों के सामान भेज धारण चारों ओर फैल गई उसमें से कोई मालिन बनी कोई डायन कोई रसोई बनाने वाली कोई गाने वाली कोई बाजा बजाने वाली कोई मूर्ति बनाने वाली कोई सामुद्रिक जाने वाली और कोई पुत्र देने वाली इस प्रकार उन्होंने अनेक युक्ति की परंतु जब राजा देवदास के नगर को कोई भी मनुष्य अपने धर्म को त्याग कर पाप कर्म प्रवत नहीं हुआ तब वह सब एकत्र होकर आपस में या कहने लगे कि हम मधुरचल पर्वत पर जाकर शिवजी को किस प्रकार अपना मुंह दिखाएं वस्तु वे 64 योनियों मानिक गाड़ी के आगे स्थित हो गए और राजा के कारण शिव जी के पास नहीं पहुंची यह नारद जो मनुष्य उन योनियों को प्रणाम करता है उसे किसी प्रकार का दुख नहीं होता है

O Lord, King Devdas is ruling the earth by being steadfast in religion and renouncing all kinds of sins. And everyone is happy in his rule. Although he is your devotee and is devoted to serving all of us Gods, but he has not allowed any God or snake to live on earth. Today, it is appropriate for you that by some means you should try to remove King Devdas from the kingdom. We will be able to get Kashi only after King Devdas relinquishes the throne. Otherwise not. Saying this, all the Gods became silent. O Narada. Hearing this prayer of the Gods, Shiv Ji said, Gods, King Devdas is our supreme devotee. He is a demon of Kashi who is like our second body. Therefore, the protector of Kashi cannot suffer any kind of pain. Saying this, Shiv Ji became silent, but he At that time, remembering Kashi, his eyes filled with tears. For some time, he was so engrossed in the love of Kashi that he became unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he praised Kashi and said, “Anand Daani Kashi, when will I get it now? If I don’t get it soon, my life will become difficult.” Saying this, Shivaji, immersed in the love of Kashi, became unconscious. Oh Narada. Seeing the condition of Shivaji, Girija revived me and said, “Oh Lord, you are the master of all the three worlds. Cooperation and separation are all your leela. Destruction happens by your sight. You are completely independent. If you reach Kashi, then King Devdas will not be able to stop you in any way. The residents of Kashi do not even have brothers from Yamraj. Due to being the right of salvation for Papaya, it is very dear to me too. You should find a way so that we can get Kashi Pune and everyone gets peace. Oh Narada. Hearing these words of Girija, Shivaji became happy and said, “Girja, you are very dear to me, but Kashi is more dear to me than you.” Dear, at this time my heart has got peace by listening to your nectar like words but you should know that I have great respect and regard for King Devdas. He has got the kingship of Kashi only after taking permission from Brahma ji. While asking for his boon, Brahma ji had clearly said that if Gods etc. do not live on earth then only I can accept the kingship otherwise not. Then I had to leave Kashi to obey the word of Brahma ji. King Devdas has been protecting my kingdom very well since time immemorial, therefore he is very dear to me. In such a condition how can I snatch his kingdom. You should also know this thing very well that I always protect those people who are virtuous. If someone tries to harm them then also I will have to bear the pain myself. Therefore I am thinking of such a way by which I can get Kashi Pune. O Narada, Shivaji was worrying in this way when suddenly he saw the Yoginis standing in front of him. Then Shivaji called them near him and made them sit with great respect and then gave this order Yoginis sing, all of you Go to Kashipuri and there do something in the religious works of king Devdas due to which he gets ready to leave coughing. When this method is successful then I will also stay in Kashi and get bliss. Thus, Shivji sent the yoginis to Kashi and he himself remained in the same position to wait for the time. Those yoginis changed their form after reaching Kashi and then spread everywhere wearing the clothes of ascetics. Out of them, some became gardeners, some witches, some cooks, some singers, some play instruments, some make idols, some go to the sea and some give sons. In this way, they did many tricks but when no person of king Devdas's city abandoned his religion and did sinful deeds, then all of them gathered and started talking among themselves that how should we go to Madhuchal mountain and show our face to Shivji. Those 64 yoginis stood in front of the Manik cart and did not reach Shivji because of the king. Narad said that the person who bows to those yoginis does not have any kind of sorrow.
