महा भागवत देवी पुराण अध्याय 4

छाया सती का प्रगति तथा योग अग्नि प्रवेश भगवती सती ने दक्षिण एक छाया सती का प्रदोष प्रभाव किया छाया सती को अपना मंत्रण बढ़कर हुए अंतर ध्यान होकर आकाश में स्थित हो गए इधर छाया साथी दक्ष प्रजापति से कुपित होकर कहने लगे कि तुम संतान शिव मुझमें सती की निंदा क्यों कर रहे हो दक्ष ने छाया सती को भला बुरा कहा इस प्रकार वाद-विवाद बढ़ जाने पर बहुत से प्रतीत नेत्रों वाली छाया सती देवताओं के देखते-देखते यज्ञ अग्नि में प्रवेश कर गई शिक्षक या कुंड की अग्नि बुझ गई या मंडप मात्र छे ही क्षण में शमशान के रूप में परिणाम हो गया वीरभद्र द्वारा यज्ञ विदिशा इधर नारद जी ने सदा शिव भगवान शंकर को सारे समाचार से अवगत कराया हुए समाचार सुनकर सुख कल पहुंचे ऊंची क्षणों में अंतर उसके उधर नेत्र से अत्यंत तेजस्वी अग्नि प्रदोष हुए आरुष अग्नि से एक परम पुरुष उत्पन्न हुआ जिसका नाम वीरभद्र रखा गया भगवान शिव ने वीरभद्र को दक्ष के यज्ञ में जाकर उसे विद्यासागर करने की आज्ञा प्रदान की वीरभद्र प्रथम गांव के साथ दक्ष में पहुंच गई और यह क्या विधियां सरकार डाला तथा अध्यक्ष की सर काट डाला इस प्रकार ही आजा के विशिष्ट हो जाने पर ब्रह्मा जी कैलाश पर्वत पर गए और उन्होंने भगवान सदाशिव को प्रणाम कर दक्ष को जीवित करने और यज्ञ को पूर्ण करने की प्रार्थना की ब्रह्मा जी की प्रार्थना से द्रवित होकर भगवान शिव जी ने वीरभद्र को दश जीवित करने का था या को पूर्ण करने आदेश दिया वीरभद्र ने एक बकरे का सर जोड़कर दक्ष प्रजापति को जीवित कर दिया जो की दक्ष ने भगवान शिव की निंदा की थी इसलिए गंज पुरुष का सर जोड़ गया इसके साथ ही यह विधि विधान से पूर्ण कराया गया अंत में दक्ष प्रजापति ने भी भगवान शंकर का स्थान किया ब्रह्मा जी ने कहा कि जो न धाम यज्ञ में शिव के बिना अन्य देवताओं का यह जानकारी जिसका यज्ञ कर नष्ट हो जाएगा और वह महान पाप के भागी होंगे शोक संत भगवान शिव को देवी के दिव्य दर्शन शक्तिपीठ के अभाव का रहस्य सती के वियोग में भगवान शंकर के दुखी होने पर ब्रह्मा और विष्णु ने उन्हें समझाने का प्रयास किया और कहा कि वह देवी जगदंबा तो सनातन पूर्ण ब्रह्म स्वरुप है उसकी मृत्यु तो वास्तविक नहीं केवल कल्पना मात्र है इसके अंतर ब्रह्मा विष्णु और महेश तीनों ने भगवती का स्थान पान किया उसकी स्थिति से प्रसन्न होकर महादेव ने आकाश में स्थित होकर उनसे दर्शन दिए तथा भगवान शिव को अशक्त करते हुए कहा कि आप स्थित जीत हो मैं स्वयं हिमालय की पुत्री बनाकर तथा मेनका के 11 में जन्म लेकर पुणे आपको प्राप्त करूंगा उन्होंने शिव से या भी कहा कि दक्ष की यज्ञ अग्नि में मेरी जी छाया शरीर में प्रवेश किया था उसे सिर पर लेकर मेरी प्रार्थना करके आप इस पृथ्वी पर भ्रमण करें वह मेरा छाया शरीर अनेक करो में विभक्त होकर इस पृथ्वी पर गिरने लगा तथा उन्होंने स्थान पर पापों का नाश करने वाला महान शक्तिपीठ उदित होगा जहां योगिनी भाग गिरेगा वह सर्वोत्तम शक्तिपीठ होकर वहां रहकर तपस्या करके आप मुझे प्राप्त करेंगे तदांतर शिव जी ने यह साल में प्रवेश करके शादी की छाया शरीर आलम नहीं करते हुए उसे सिर पर उठा लिया और अत्यंत प्रसन्नता पूर्वक धरती पर नाचने लग ब्रह्मा इत्यादि आदि देवगढ़ इस ए पूर्वक दृश्य होती है लेने यह आकाश में आ गए दर्शन दिशाओं में पुष्प वाटिका होने लगी प्रथम घर को बहुत गाल बजाने और गाने लगे चारों ओर नाचते हुए शिवजी सती छाया शरीर को कभी सिर पर कभी दाहिने हाथ पर कभी बाएं हाथ में कभी गंभीर पर तो कभी प्रेम पूर्वक वाक्य स्थल पर धारण कर अपने चरन प्रहार से पृथ्वी को कवित करते हुए ने करने लगे देवताओं को चिंता हुई किया जगत रसकर रूद्र कैसे शांत हो गई जगत की रक्षा के लिए भगवान विष्णु ने सुदर्शन चक्र से साथी की छाया शरीर से टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके गिरा दिए शरीर में सारे करत धरातल पर अनेक स्थानों पर गिरे पृथ्वी पर हुए ही स्थान महाद्वीप और सिद्ध पीठ के रूप में विख्यात हुआ भगवान विष्णु के कहने पर भारत में शिव से शांति जीत होने की प्रार्थना की भारत की प्रार्थना सुनकर भगवान सदाशिव ने निहित त्याग कर बार-बार विश्वास होते हुए विष्णु को श्राप दे दिया कि नेत्र योग में विष्णु को पृथ्वी पर सूर्यवंश में जन्म लेना पड़ेगा जिस प्रकार मुझे छाया पत्नी का उपयोग बना ना पड़ा इस प्रकार राक्षस राज रावण विष्णु की छाया पत्नी का हरण करके उन्हें भी वियोग बनाएगा विष्णु मेरी ही भांति शौक से व्याकुल्चित होंगे भगवान शिव का काम रूप में तपस्या करना इस प्रकार विष्णु ने श्राप देकर शिवजी को स्वास्थ्य जीत हो गए और उन्हें जगदंबा के बताए हुए पूर्व वृत्तांत को याद करके लोहा पीठ कामरूप में तपस्या की भगवती ने उन्हें प्रत्येक दर्शन दिया था उनके इच्छा अनुसार वरदान दिया कि मैं अपने पास में जल मार्ग नजर का रूप धारण करके आपके पति रूप में प्राप्त करूंगा इसके साथ ही मैं पूर्ण अवतार लेकर पार्वती के रूप में भी अपनी पत्नी बनाऊंगा

Progress and Yoga of Chhaya Sati entering the fire Goddess Sati performed the Pradosh effect of Chhaya Sati in the south. The fire of the teacher or the kund was extinguished or the pavilion turned into a cremation ground in just six moments. The result of the yagya was done by Veerbhadra in Vidisha. Here Narada ji informed Sada Shiv Lord Shankar about all the news. Hearing the news, Sukh Kal reached the high place. Within moments, a very bright fire Pradosh was born from his eyes. From the fire of Arush, a supreme man was born who was named Veerbhadra. Lord Shiva gave permission to Veerbhadra to go to Daksha's yagya and make him Vidyasagar. Veerbhadra reached Daksha with the first village and performed these rituals and cut off the head of the president. In this way When Aja became special, Brahma ji went to Mount Kailash and he prayed to Lord Sadashiv to bring Daksha back to life and complete the yagna. Moved by Brahma ji's prayer, Lord Shiva ji ordered Veerbhadra to bring Daksha back to life and complete the yagna. Veerbhadra brought Daksha Prajapati back to life by attaching the head of a goat, as Daksha had slandered Lord Shiva, therefore the head of a bald man was attached, along with this it was completed with all the rituals, in the end Daksha Prajapati also gave the place of Lord Shankar, Brahma ji said that whoever does not perform the yagna without Shiva in the Dham Yagna, will be destroyed and will be guilty of a great sin. The grief-stricken saint gave Lord Shiva the divine darshan of the Goddess, the secret of the absence of Shaktipeeth. When Lord Shankar was saddened by the separation of Sati, Brahma and Vishnu tried to console him and said that Goddess Jagadamba is the eternal form of Brahma, her death is not real, it is only an imagination. In this, Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh all three took the place of Bhagwati. Pleased with her condition, Mahadev situated in the sky spoke to her. She gave darshan and weakening Lord Shiva said that you are victorious, I myself will become the daughter of Himalaya and will take birth in the womb of Menaka and will attain you. She also told Shiva that in the sacrificial fire of Daksha, my shadow body had entered on the head and praying to me, you should roam on this earth, that shadow body of mine started falling on this earth after getting divided into many parts and at that place a great Shaktipeeth which destroys sins will emerge, where the Yogini part will fall, that will become the best Shaktipeeth and you will attain me by staying there and doing penance, thereafter Lord Shiva entered this earth and without disrobing, took the shadow body of Sati on the head and started dancing on the earth with great joy, Brahma etc etc came in the sky to take darshan, flower gardens started appearing in all directions, the first house started to be praised and started to sing, dancing all around, Lord Shiva kept the shadow body of Sati sometimes on the head, sometimes on the right hand, sometimes on the left hand, sometimes on the grave and sometimes on the place of worship lovingly, and by hitting the earth with his feet, he started to worry the gods. How did Rudra, the lover of the world, calm down? To protect the world, Lord Vishnu cut the shadow of his companion from the body into pieces with Sudarshan Chakra and dropped them. All the pieces in the body fell at many places on the earth. These places on the earth became famous as continents and Siddha Peethas. On the request of Lord Vishnu, India prayed to Shiva for peace. Hearing the prayer of India, Lord Sadashiv, renouncing his intentions, repeatedly cursed Vishnu that Vishnu would have to take birth on earth in the Suryavansh in Netra Yoga. Just as I could not make use of my shadow wife, similarly the demon king Ravana would abduct Vishnu's shadow wife and cause separation from her. Vishnu would be troubled by passion just like me. Lord Shiva doing penance in the form of Kaam. In this way, after cursing Vishnu, Shiva became healthy and remembering the previous story told by Jagadamba, he did penance in Loha Peetha Kaamroop. Bhagwati gave him darshan and gave him a boon as per his wish that I will come near me in the form of water path eye and will get you as your husband.
