ऐसा समझ कर ही पूर्व कल के पुरुषों ने भी कर्म किए थे इसलिए तू भी कर्म ही कर तेरे लिए चुपचाप बैठ रहना या सन्यास लेना यह दोनों ही कर्तव्य नहीं है क्योंकि पूर्व जो ने भी कम का आचरण किया है इसलिए यदि तू आत्मज्ञानी नहीं है तो भी अंतःकरण की शुद्धि के लिए और यदि तत्वज्ञानी है तो लोग संग्रह के लिए जैन आदि पूर्वज पूर्वज द्वारा सदा से किए हुए प्रकार से ही कर्मकार नए ढंग से किए जाने वाले कम मत कर यदि कर्म ही कर्तव्य है तो मैं आपकी आज्ञा से ही करने की तैयार हूं फिर पूर्व पूर्वोत्तर कृतार्थ विश्लेषण देने की क्या आवश्यकता है इस पर रहते हैं कि कर्म के विषय में बड़े भारी बिस्मार्क माता है अर्थात कर्म का विषय बड़ा गण है सो किस प्रकार कर्म किया है और अकर्मक क्या है इस कर्म आदि के विषय में बड़े-बड़े बुद्धिमान भी मोहित हो चुके हैं इसलिए मैं तुझे वह कर्म और अकर्मक बतलाऊंगा जिस कर्म आदि को जानकर तू अशुभ से यानी संसार से मुक्त हो जाएगा बात ही क्या है यह तो लोक में प्रसिद्ध ही है क्योंकि ऐसा नहीं समझना चाहिए इस पर कहते हैं कर्मक शास्त्र विहित क्रिया का भी रहस्य जाना चाहिए विक्रम का शास्त्र वर्जित कर्म का भी रहस्य जाना चाहिए और अकर्मक का अर्थात चुपचाप बैठ रहने का भी रहस्य समझना चाहिए क्योंकि कर्म की अर्थात करमाकर्म और विक्रम की गति उनका यथार्थ स्वरूप तत्व बड़ा गहन है समझने में बड़ा ही कठिन है कर्म आदि का वह तत्व क्या है क्योंकि जाने योग्य है जिसके लिए आपने या प्रतिज्ञा की थी कि कहूंगा इस पर कहते हैं
