दक्ष बोले अल्प बुद्धि वाली बाली की मेरे सामने से बात फिर मत बोलना शमशान में रहने वाले उसे दुराचारी मैं जानता हूं दुरमति तुमने स्वयं ही अपने बुद्धि से भूत गानों के अधिपति शिव को पति रूप में वर्णन किया आप उसी के पास जाकर अपने योग्य परम सुख प्राप्त कर रही हो मैं प्रजापति दक्ष हूं ऐसे सभी देवताओं तथा देवियों को मालूम है मेरे आगे तुम तुम शिव की प्रशंसा क्यों कर रही हो जिसे मैं सुन ही नहीं सकता छाया सती बोली दक्ष में फिर कह रही हूं कि यदि तुम अपना कल्याण चाहते हो तो पाप बुद्धि का त्याग कर दो और भक्ति पूर्वक भगवान सदाशिव की उपासना करो यदि तुम होना अज्ञानवास परमात्मा शिव की निंदा करोगी तो वह शंभू निश्चय रूप से त्याग रहित तुम्हें नष्ट कर डालेंगे दक्ष बोल को पुत्री तुम बुरे चरित्र वाली हो मेरे नेत्रों की सामने से है जो मेरे लिए तुम इस समय से मर चुकी हो जब तुमने शिव को पति रूप में प्राप्त किया था तुम मुझे बार-बार अपने पति रुद्र की याद क्यों दिला रही हो जिससे कि मेरे अंदर स्थित क्रोध अग्नि भूसे की हाकी तरह बढ़ती जा रही है को पुत्री दुष्ट बुद्धि वाली तुमने शिव को पति रूप में प्राप्त किया है अतः तुम्हें देखने से मेरा शरीर शोक अग्नि से धड़क हो रहा है दुष्ट अंतः करण वाली तुलसिग रही मेरे आंखों से दूर हो जाओ मेरे समक्ष अपने पति का गुणगान मत करो श्री महादेव जी बोले नारद दक्ष के ऐसे कहने पर उसे भगवती छाया काली से हो अपशिष्ट होकर भयंकर रूप धारण कर लिया उसके ज्वलन अभियान तीनों नेत्र अत्यंत प्रकाशित थे उनके मस्तक नक्षत्र लोग पहुंच हुआ था उनका मुख फैला हुआ था पैरों तक लटकाने वाले खुले हुए कैसे पास से हुए सुशोभित हो रही थी वह मध्यान्ह कालीन हजारों सूर्य की क्रांति से संपन्न थी और पहले कल की बादलों के समान प्रतीत हो रही थी तत्पश्चात क्रोध से तृप्त आने वाली उन माहेश्वरी ने बार-बार 180 करके गंभीर वाणी से दक्ष की कहना मैं केवल अपनी आंखों से दूर नहीं हो जाऊंगी अभी तो आपसे उत्पन्न इस देश से भी अर्पित दूर हो जाऊंगी इस प्रकार क्रोध से प्रदीप नेत्रों वाली छाया सती सभी देवताओं की देखते-देखते यज्ञ अग्नि में प्रवेश कर डाली उसके बाद पृथ्वी हिलने लगी मा प्रचंड वायु बहने लगी और सूर्य को भेद कर बड़े-बड़े उनका पिंड पृथ्वी तल पर गिरने लगे सभी दिशाएं सफल होगी महराज ने लगे समस्त देवता गण विकृत वर्ण वाले हो गए या कुंड की अग्नि बुझ गई और सियार तथा कुत्ता या मंडल में रखे हवन सामग्री खाने लगे इस प्रकार यज्ञ मंडल मात्रा आदि ही इच्छा में शमशान की ग्रुप में परिवर्तित हो गया इस दक्ष प्रजापति का मुख्य मंडल माननीय हो गया और वह बार-बार गहरी सांस छोड़ने लग इसके बाद ब्राह्मणों ने जिस किसी तरह फिर से यज्ञ आरंभ किया मुनि भगवान शिव के भाई से देवता अत्यंत घबराए हुए थे सभी देवता तथा महर्षि गाना आपस में कहानी लगेगी या अमरपाली भाषण भर में ही दूर तक फैल जाएगी और शिवजी आज सती के लिए त्याग का समाचार सुन लेंगे जगत का संहार करने वाले हुए महाराज संभोग को धोकर ना जाने कि क्या कारण डालेंगे अथवा हो सकता है वह सृष्टि का हल लेकर देते हैं इसके बाद मुनिश्रेष्ठ महर्षि नारद सभा के बीच में चुपचाप उठकर शीघ्रता पूर्वक कैलाश की ओर जल्दी इस प्रकार श्री महा भागवत पुराण के अंतर श्री महादेव नारद संवाद में छाया साथी प्रवेश संपूर्ण हुआ

Why are you reminding me again and again of your husband Rudra, due to which the anger fire inside me is increasing like a straw wick." O daughter, of evil intellect, you have got Shiva as your husband, therefore My body is throbbing with grief on seeing you. O Tulsiga with evil heart, go away from my sight. Do not sing praises of your husband in front of me. Shri Mahadev ji said to Narad. On Daksha saying this, Goddess Chhaya Kali transformed herself into a fierce form. Her three burning eyes were extremely bright. Her forehead had reached the stars. Her face was wide open and her eyes hanging till the feet were open. How beautiful she was looking from close. She was full of the revolution of thousands of suns at noon and at first she appeared like yesterday's clouds. Then that Maheshwari, filled with anger, repeatedly turned around and said to Daksha in a serious tone, "I will not only go away from your sight, I will also go away from this country born of you." Thus, Chhaya Sati with eyes blazing with anger entered the sacrificial fire in front of all the gods. After that, the earth started shaking and a fierce wind started blowing and piercing the sun, her huge bodies started falling on the earth. All directions will be successful, Maharaj. All the gods started to become distorted in complexion or the fire of the Kund was extinguished and the jackal and the dog started eating the havan material kept in the circle, in this way the yajna mandal got converted into a cremation ground just by his wish, the main circle of Daksha Prajapati became respectable and he started breathing deeply again and again, after this the Brahmins started the yajna again in some way, the gods were very scared of the brother of sage Lord Shiva, all the gods and Maharishis would sing a story among themselves or the Amarpali would spread far and wide in just a speech and today Shivaji would hear the news of the sacrifice for Sati, Maharaja who is the destroyer of the world, after washing away the intercourse, who knows what reason he will give or it is possible that he will give a solution to the creation, after this the great sage Maharshi Narad got up silently in the middle of the assembly and hurried towards Kailash, in this way the entry of the shadow companion in the inner Shri Mahadev Narad dialogue of Shri Maha Bhagwat Purana was completed.
